My first time here. I walk in & this place is nice & clean. I looked at the menu board on the wall as the family ahead of me in line placed their order. Upon my turn & asking a few questions, I decided on the Sonoran Fries & added bacon plus a soda. They have Coke products here in both the bottle & soda fountain. You know that scores BIG points with me. This is the perfect place for all American comfort foods: hot dogs, burgers, fries of all kinds, plus they have milkshakes! My fries were very good & tasty! I was craving something different & Fresh Press definitely delivered a grand slam! Next time I will have to try one of their many burgers!

Double hamburger with fried chopped onions. Ketchup is for my fries, I rarely eat Ketchup on a burger,as I like to taste the meat.

This place is in my top 5 burger places in AZ. Outstanding service,clean decent store,plenty of seating,friendly and professional staff. Now, the good stuff! I had a double hamburger with chopped fried onions (that's the only way I eat burger's, unless it's with no onions) with black pepper and salt and a order of french fries with a root beer. It was absolutely incredibly delicious! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Plenty of parking, free parking. Located off of Apache Trail, so it's also easy to get there. A special thank you to the staff, you all have made every meal I have ate at your establishment an awesome & delicious event! I highly recommend eating here. Almost always busy, but fast cooking so you'll never wait to long. Enjoy, I always have.

Burger was pretty good, it smash style. I liked that they make it to order right in front of you, however it didn't wow my palette. I think it needed more flavor. The fries were ehh. I would go back but it's not my favorite burger place. I was really hoping it would be my new go to place.

Since opening in 2019, I have frequented this location as they hands down have the best burgers in town! Heck, maybe even the whole valley! They make their own sauces and have a great set up to pick and choose what you want to make your perfect burger. I've vocally supported them, and many in the community have agreed after trying them that they are the most delicious burgers they've had out! Food is always a great thing to make the dining experience, but how is the service you may ask? You order at a register and they are always friendly. You can sit and sip your beverage while they prepare, and they will call you when it is ready. They do have a glass guard up where you can view to see them in action to! Always great to sit back, relax, and await an epic burger! Yum!

Came here for a burger, paid $1.99 to add bacon, adds 1 piece and splits it in half. Burger was ok, not great, thankfully there was a buttery brioche bun. Fries seemed fresh, were decent, similar to 5 guys. Wash it down with anything 0 sugar? Only 1 diet selection, Diet Coke.

Fountain pop with Dr. Pepper, barge root beer, sprite, and coke. Great selection. Cooked to perfection and fries are great. We were there tonight, just before closing and it was pretty busy, but everyone was served and they all looked very happy. I had the American double cheeseburger and it was delicious. My partner had a Southwest salad and she enjoyed it, but said that the lettuce could be cut up a little more. We also had the cheesy bacon fries. It was all good. I recommend this place for real good food. Hard to find easy to enjoy. Give it a try. read more

This was my first stop when visiting Apache Junction. I had the Mushroom burger Tuscan Style and it is one of the Best Burgers I've ever had. It's the Gravy they put on it that makes it so delicious. A bit messy but what great burger isn't. Will definitely go back! read more

This place is a HIDDEN GEM! I was in the mood for a good burger and did a search for the top 10 burger joints in the East Valley. This was the closest one to where I live and a 4.5 star average rating from Yelp is usually a good sign. From the photos and descriptions of the burgers on their website, it looked like they knew what they were doing and maybe the owner might even have a culinary background. I called on a Saturday around 4pm, a very friendly employee named Alyssa took my order, and she said it would be ready in 10 minutes! I ordered the Sunrise burger, fries and sweet potato fries. All were excellent! Way above average, and the prices for the quality of food they serve are good! I'm already looking forward to going back and trying different burgers off their menu. The Tropical burger looks really good. The different loaded fries creations look good as well. There is plenty of parking, they are in the same little strip mall as the Goodwill store. If you don't know the area, take 60 east to Idaho (highway 88), go north (left) and drive about two miles. Then turn left into the strip mall across the street from the QT right before Apache Trail (Main St in Mesa, Apache Blvd in Tempe). read more

We came here around 8:00 PM on a Saturday night for the first time. The first impression was great. The place is very clean and we were greeted by the owner with a friendly welcome. I ordered the mushroom burger and sweet potato fries. The burger was amazing. The bun was fresh and soft and the burger cooked to perfection. The sweet potato fries were the best I've ever had. The owner suggested we try some sweet chipotle sauce with our fries and it was a great combination. We'll be coming back. I feel like we found a wonderful gem in our neighborhood. read more

Apache Junction is not even close to my house, but I'm glad I made the drive though. It was a tough decision. The menu had many different delicious looking options. I settled on the Inferno Burger. All I can say is that I can't wait to go back. Also, the service was amazing. My only regret was getting a small sample of chili for my fries. Ok y'all let's break down this 5 star review for anyone curious. I was nearby at the Arizona Gift shop. I wanted a snack before I adventured off near the Superstition Mountains. Wasn't sure what I wanted. Having celiac and a severe dairy intolerance my options are so limited these days. It gets pricey and I'm looking to eat cheap. French fries it is. Saw this place on maps. Walked in and got a small business owner vibe. Rock and roll music playing(a personal favorite). I expect small shops to not have gluten free options Becuase most places don't, especially smaller businesses that don't focus on health conscious items. Walked in and immediately greeted upon approaching the cash register. Not a huge menu but items sounded flavor packed. I skipped them all cause fry's are gluten free not burgers. Told the man who explained some burgers to me and what they offer. What they were currently featuring. Told the man I can not have gluten. He replied with "we offer a gluten free bun" I WAS ECSTATIC! A small Burger joint with gluten free options? I then changed my mind and decided to dine in . I got the tropical burger. Not too greasy or dry. Good little bit of juice. Prices were great to me as I got a burger frys and drink for $14 normal restaurants getting gluten free and all that would have been $20 plus a tip AT LEAST! For someone who can't have gluten that's a pretty good price. I could tell the man helping me was the owner. He was very helpful, seemed humble but happy I took acknowledgment in the fact that he owned the place. Very nice guy named Justin. I gave this a 5 as my OVERALL Experience walking in to leaving was great. I'm not a picky eater I live for small business and people who take pride in their work. The food is REALLY good. The The Inferno Burger (Served with jalapeno popper spread, green chili, fresh jalapenos, pepperjack cheese, and cherry peppers) has some heat to it but the flavor is great! Our other favorite is the Western Burger (Served with cheddar cheese, bbq sauce, fresh jalapenos, lettuce, bacon, and crispy onions), The fries are a fairly decent portion size and also very good. We've only ordered ahead to get our food to go and it's always hot and ready on time. Every time I've been inside it's clean and well cared for. I would definitely suggest stopping in! Gluten free mushroom burger, an all American burger, french fries, and cherry limeade. The burgers were cooked perfectly and the french fries came out steaming hot. They get through the line quickly and efficiently. I'm not sure how long it been opened, but it will quickly become an Apache Junction favorite. It is bright and clean inside. read more

What a great spot for a fresh hamburger and super hot fries. Friendly greeting as soon as you walk in. Everything is made it order and does not disappoint Today, I ordered the Senior Meal, Cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and grilled diced onions, small fries (almost too hot to eat) and a 10 Oz beverage. $6.99. Been here a quite a few times now and almost always get a quality burger. I recently got a hotdog and super delicious as well but if you want a rich and filling burger then Fresh Press will definitely not let you down. the only reason for the 4 stars is because the hubby and I have ordered our stuffed fries with bacon and have gone home only to find out we were charged for the extra item but no bacon. Super sad but yeah other than that they are pretty bomb. We have been to fresh press many times now. The first time my order was totally wrong but It was still an amazing burger so no complaints from me. I tried for a chili burger the second time and got it. Honestly it would be better with in house chili but still a great burger. We stopped by last night and I had the mushroom burger and man oh man was it good. The street corn fries could use more of the corn on them but in what is becoming a common theme...everything is so good I just can't care. Just keep making good burgers and we will keep coming back. My entire family LOVES Fresh Press!!!! read more

Did a pick up one night not knowing just what to eat .. these burgers are fabulous.. Shame on me but I did another pick up the night after. So much flavor. Wonderfully soft and tasty burger meat .. I ordered a Chilli Dog on National Cheeseburger day because I'm a rebel like that (actually I totally forget even though I also really wanted a cheeseburger haha) it was a good Chilli dog but my friends Sonoran dog looked totally better, I had serious dog envy, we also got sweet potato fries. Everything is made to order at the time you order it so that's pretty cool. Next time I'm totally gonna try some of the loaded fries they have, Staff was friendly and everything was clean inside. read more

The owner is the operator! Friendly and attentive service! FRESHLY prepared food items always! Burgers are literally "freshly pressed from balls of fresh beef"...in front of you. NO other restaurant does THAT! Hot dogs are large links. All toppings are generous. Fries are excellent and made to order. Milk shakes are made to order!!! Local owner...great food...convenient to all of Apache Junction on the trail. Bam!!! read more

This was a last-minute decision as we sid a search for hot dogs in our area, and Tavo's came up. Tavo's is a food truck that is open on East Apache Blvd just east of Hawes Rd. As the name says, hot dogs and tacos are the fare. I ordered 2 sonoran style hot dogs, and my wife had a plain hot dog with mustard. They were perfect! The buns were lightly toasted but fresh bread buns. Nothing can ruin a hot dog quicker than a stale or old bun. Tavo's doesn't make that mistake. Fresh toasted hot dog buns are perfect. The ingredients inside are even better. The hot dog is made perfect and piping hot. The ingredients on my Sonoran dog included grilled onions, diced tomatoes, whipped guacamole sauce, mustard, and more. Wow. Excellent flavors. It's tasty but not too spicy. Finished off with a fresh grilled jalapeño on the side! A bite of the pepper goes well with a bite of the hot dog, or if you don't want the spice, ignore the grilled jalapeño. The prices were excellent as well. Each hot dog is only $4. Very reasonable! You can get a hot dog with fries for just $7. This little hot dog and taco stand was a blissful little stop . If you get a chance to stop by (Weds through Sunday evening 4pm-9:30pm), do it. You won't regret it!

Somebody recommended this place as a healthy alternative. To what, I'm not sure, because it's far from anything most people would consider healthy, despite the unique, if ubiquitous-sounding name. They won't cook it to order; it's well done or nothing. The meat is tasteless... no seasoning whatsoever. The onion is a nearly invisible ring that could pass for the lost needle in the haystack. The lettuce was generous, but of some new curly kind that - consistent with everything else - was bland and flavorless. The skimpy amount of cheese was hard to find and therefore easy to miss. But the most memorable part of the whole experience was the incredible amount of liquid grease dripping from when you try prying the mess out of the styrofoam box that is supposed to serve as your plate. The whole mess is so slippery with grease, it can't be lifted out in one piece. If hot grease had value, you could wring it out like you would a soapy sponge. I've never been in jail but somehow this reminds me of what jail food must taste like - plain shit no one takes any pride in. If this wobbly stack of garbage is supposed to compete with In 'N' Out, it has a long way to go! For the $10.59 this slop cost, you can get TWO In 'N' Out Double-Doubles, and even one is a thousand times better than this Freshly Pressed Mess. read more

Worst burger I ever had since McDonalds. You wait for it in a booth, like you were going to eat it there, then they bring all the junk in a bag, like you should take it home. No seasoning whatsoever in the overcooked meat, bland rolls, and this whole mess costs over $10!
