    Squash blossom pizza

Delicious, intimidate spot for vegan dinner. Stopped since our dear Plot is no more. Found street parking no problem, seated right away, and shared a pizza. Definitely adding it to our list for when we are in the area.

The best vegan restaurant in OC, and maybe even in all of the surrounding counties! This is a scratch vegan kitchen with everything made in house without using any animal products at all. No not even honey is used up in here, but somehow they're able to make their sweets taste sweet, and I mean the right kind of sweet! There are a good amount of different types of items from ramen, to pizza, and both are really good, but their panini sandwiches are my favorite! The meat substitutes pretty much taste just like deli sliced ham. And their Key Lime Pie is amazing! I don't know how they make that whipped cream, but they were able to make it taste just like the real thing! A definite must to finish your meal!

Truffle burger and double vanilla latte

Honestly...I have only tried the truffle burger here every single time I am here...and it's absolutely perfect. I am not vegan so I order it for the wonderful flavor and texture. The side salad is a nice touch, and their double vanilla bean latte is quite good. I am not sure if I will ever venture out and try their other menu items...because the truffle burger is sooooo good!

Seriously one of the best Vegan spots in OC!! I stopped by the other day with my friends who is Vegan and tho I have been to Vegan places before, Im not a Vegan myself. Of course this doesnt mean I dont enjoy Vegan food! On the contrary I think their flavor and the options you get here are superb. My friend ordered a mushroom panini, the roasted cauliflower and roasted strong beans to share. They were DELICIOUS. I have no idea what the sauce they added to the string beans had but OMG they were phenomenal. The service was really friendly, I had a Vanilla Latte which I truly enjoyed. I lesrned they made this w soymilk and u would never even know they did it tasted so creamy and full. Im really looking forward to going back soon. They have a really nice i side decor and the pattio area has a little fountain. Truly enjoyable and really great prices too! Public parking is available across the st!

The food quality here is so good, and the meat alternatives are all so convincing that I would not be able to tell that they are vegan. I tried the Panini Poulet, which was so balanced and delicious, with the pickled carrots and daikon providing the perfect crunch and acidity to the sandwich. Loved the side salad that came with it, especially the candied walnuts. Enjoyed the ambiance and outside seating as well, but had to take off a star because someone in my party got their food over half an hour after everyone else.

I love taking my lady friend here when she's in town. Even though I'm not Vegan I love the food. Everyone here is so nice.

Absolutely DELICIOUS! We came in a Monday afternoon for a late lunch. The place wasn't too busy. We were seated quickly, served iced waters and placed our orders in less than 10 minutes. Once we ordered, it did not take long for our food to be delivered. Service was definitely friendly and efficient. SUPERB! Truffle Burger: 4/5 Burger was very hearty. The truffle was very good and the aiola sauce was the chef's kiss. I wish it came with fries, but the mixed greens salad side was definitely the healthier option. Panini Portobello: 5/5 Sourdough bread was lightly toasted, crunchy, and a little chewy. The filling (artichoke, portobello, sun dried tomatoes, etc) was so good. My favorite dish on the menu! Cafe Granita: 5/5 It was creamy and icy and absolutely refreshing! This was perfect for an afternoon drink on a sunny day. The espresso flavor was not too strong. It was not too sweet. It was truly the perfect combination of sweetness and boldness (from the espresso). We are coming back again to try other items on the menu!

BLT sandwich with tomatoes and vegan bacon.

Located in Tustin on Main Street is Freesoulcaffe. Standing on the sidewalk, facing the establishment, it was a wonderful view. You see, the building is covered in bricks and had an opening in the entryway that I found lovely. I opted for sitting outside as the weather was nice and so was the outdoor decor. I ordered the BLT sandwich that came highly suggested by the waiter. All I can say is, love is the most nutritional ingredient and love was all in the details. The lettuce was crisp and the vegan bacon was nice. Next time, I look forward to trying their salads and soups that are soy free. Perhaps even one of their specialty pizzas. Everyone was ever so friendly and the service was wonderful. "Light a fire in you that the world cannot put out!"

My vegan friend loves this place. My favorite is potato pizza. You should definitely try it!! All of their food is great!

    FSC breakfast sandwich
    Melanie G.

We went on a Saturday at their opening (9am) and it wasn't busy at all! They won't seat you until your full party is there though. It's an aesthetic and more upscale setting! I got the FSC breakfast sandwich which was really good. It was flavorful because the veggie bacon was smoky and because of the savory romesco sauce. Bread was oiled and grilled to a nice crisp, while still having a nice chew to it. Sandwich is filling too because it also has tofu, bell peppers and spinach! Great mix of ingredients for a sandwich. Looking forward to coming at another meal time to try some of their other dishes!

The place is really nice in a cute area of Tustin. My guy has been here before but I hadn't so we decided to go. I had the potato pizza and he had the vegan veggie sausage. The crust was good but I didn't like the white sauce on mine. I tasted a slice of his and really wish I had ordered that instead. The server was friendly .

There were about 3 people ahead of me in line and a few waiting for drinks, but I was able to order and get my drink in around 10 minutes. Staff was very friendly and checked in with us while waiting in line! I ordered the Matcha Two, which comes as a matcha latte topped with salted matcha vanilla cream foam. The foam was velvety and creamy. The matcha had a smooth, earthy flavor with subtle sweetness. Oatmilk was the default choice, and while I usually think oatmilk can overpower matcha, it worked well in this drink. It is a little pricey for 1 drink, but that also seems to be the norm these days for specialty drinks. This is more of a grab-and-go spot than a place to hang out. There's no seating, just a bench inside, and everyone waited outside since the interior is on the smaller side. Parking was easy when I went. Overall, a pleasant experience for a yummy matcha drink, and I'd definitely come back to try more of their matcha menu!

Came here with some friends for Afternoon Tea on a Saturday. We made a reservation for 12:30pm. Check-in was easy and quick. Since it was raining, we were seated indoors. Our server came to explain the menu and tea choices. Unfortunately, they were out of some teas, but they have a seasonal tea menu to make up for it. There were four of us and we all got the Afternoon Tea set. The teas we chose were the Coconut Milk Green Tea, Blueberry Pie Green Tea, Earl Grey Lavender, and Cherry Rose Rooibos. The teas came out first followed by the food items. We were told to let the teas steep for 4 minutes before pouring them. They were all great, but the favorite for us was the Coconut Milk Green Tea. It was creamy, smooth, and milky with a nice coconut flavor. The Blueberry Pie Green Tea tasted like a blueberry pie. We did not feel that the blueberry flavor was artificial. The Earl Grey Lavender was more Earl Grey than lavender. There might have been a subtle lavender flavor. The Cherry Rose Rooibos was surprisingly flavorful. We were able to taste both the cherry and rose. The food items were all solid. Our favorite sandwiches are the Chicken Salad and Cucumber ones. The breads for all the sandwiches were soft and fluffy, but they held up well. The scones were crunchy but not dry, and the jam was delicious. The fruit tart was mediocre. The pastry was soggy, affecting the texture of the tart. The macaron was not as chewy as others I have had in thr past, but was not too sweet. I did not try the donut so cannot comment on it. Overall, giving Morning Lavender Cafe a 4.5/5. Service is great and staff are quick and attentive. The teas were all good and most of the food is solid with exception of a couple of bites. Service was average. Expect to wait about 10 minutes with average customer volume as they spend more time of curating each drink. 4/5 largely based on coffee as I feel the customer experience can be improved. One piece of feedback is that the menu should be reorganized. There are espresso drinks on several of the menu panels but then one space specifically that is titled espresso drinks which would imply the others don't have espresso. For example, the house specialties are listed on a completely separate panel as the espresso drinks, would've like to order one of those had I known they were offered. Essentially you have to read the whole menu with the way it's currently organized you can't just search for tea or coffee sections or you'll likely miss something Importantly you can't study or work here. They intentionally don't have wifi or outlets available to foster a different customer experience. Many of the clientele were reading or knitting which was pleasant. While I support this, it's not made know to customers by signs or anything - you would have to look on Yelp beforehand to know. In addition, I've been to other Kean branches that offered wifi so unless this is a new policy or the branches are owned independently it's important to make customers aware they can't expect the internet at this location in particular. I was caught off guard and had to leave immediately as I needed wifi at the time which was unfortunate. Seats about 25 inside, patio also available. Bathroom under lock and key. Parking is in l shopping center, no issues.
