    Squash blossom pizza

Delicious, intimidate spot for vegan dinner. Stopped since our dear Plot is no more. Found street parking no problem, seated right away, and shared a pizza. Definitely adding it to our list for when we are in the area.

The best vegan restaurant in OC, and maybe even in all of the surrounding counties! This is a scratch vegan kitchen with everything made in house without using any animal products at all. No not even honey is used up in here, but somehow they're able to make their sweets taste sweet, and I mean the right kind of sweet! There are a good amount of different types of items from ramen, to pizza, and both are really good, but their panini sandwiches are my favorite! The meat substitutes pretty much taste just like deli sliced ham. And their Key Lime Pie is amazing! I don't know how they make that whipped cream, but they were able to make it taste just like the real thing! A definite must to finish your meal!

Truffle burger and double vanilla latte

Honestly...I have only tried the truffle burger here every single time I am here...and it's absolutely perfect. I am not vegan so I order it for the wonderful flavor and texture. The side salad is a nice touch, and their double vanilla bean latte is quite good. I am not sure if I will ever venture out and try their other menu items...because the truffle burger is sooooo good!

Seriously one of the best Vegan spots in OC!! I stopped by the other day with my friends who is Vegan and tho I have been to Vegan places before, Im not a Vegan myself. Of course this doesnt mean I dont enjoy Vegan food! On the contrary I think their flavor and the options you get here are superb. My friend ordered a mushroom panini, the roasted cauliflower and roasted strong beans to share. They were DELICIOUS. I have no idea what the sauce they added to the string beans had but OMG they were phenomenal. The service was really friendly, I had a Vanilla Latte which I truly enjoyed. I lesrned they made this w soymilk and u would never even know they did it tasted so creamy and full. Im really looking forward to going back soon. They have a really nice i side decor and the pattio area has a little fountain. Truly enjoyable and really great prices too! Public parking is available across the st!

The food quality here is so good, and the meat alternatives are all so convincing that I would not be able to tell that they are vegan. I tried the Panini Poulet, which was so balanced and delicious, with the pickled carrots and daikon providing the perfect crunch and acidity to the sandwich. Loved the side salad that came with it, especially the candied walnuts. Enjoyed the ambiance and outside seating as well, but had to take off a star because someone in my party got their food over half an hour after everyone else.

I love taking my lady friend here when she's in town. Even though I'm not Vegan I love the food. Everyone here is so nice.

Absolutely DELICIOUS! We came in a Monday afternoon for a late lunch. The place wasn't too busy. We were seated quickly, served iced waters and placed our orders in less than 10 minutes. Once we ordered, it did not take long for our food to be delivered. Service was definitely friendly and efficient. SUPERB! Truffle Burger: 4/5 Burger was very hearty. The truffle was very good and the aiola sauce was the chef's kiss. I wish it came with fries, but the mixed greens salad side was definitely the healthier option. Panini Portobello: 5/5 Sourdough bread was lightly toasted, crunchy, and a little chewy. The filling (artichoke, portobello, sun dried tomatoes, etc) was so good. My favorite dish on the menu! Cafe Granita: 5/5 It was creamy and icy and absolutely refreshing! This was perfect for an afternoon drink on a sunny day. The espresso flavor was not too strong. It was not too sweet. It was truly the perfect combination of sweetness and boldness (from the espresso). We are coming back again to try other items on the menu!

BLT sandwich with tomatoes and vegan bacon.

Located in Tustin on Main Street is Freesoulcaffe. Standing on the sidewalk, facing the establishment, it was a wonderful view. You see, the building is covered in bricks and had an opening in the entryway that I found lovely. I opted for sitting outside as the weather was nice and so was the outdoor decor. I ordered the BLT sandwich that came highly suggested by the waiter. All I can say is, love is the most nutritional ingredient and love was all in the details. The lettuce was crisp and the vegan bacon was nice. Next time, I look forward to trying their salads and soups that are soy free. Perhaps even one of their specialty pizzas. Everyone was ever so friendly and the service was wonderful. "Light a fire in you that the world cannot put out!"

My vegan friend loves this place. My favorite is potato pizza. You should definitely try it!! All of their food is great!

    Amber D.

The place is really nice in a cute area of Tustin. My guy has been here before but I hadn't so we decided to go. I had the potato pizza and he had the vegan veggie sausage. The crust was good but I didn't like the white sauce on mine. I tasted a slice of his and really wish I had ordered that instead. The server was friendly .

First impression, the place looks great and has a wonderful protected patio. We were able to bring our well-behaved dog. Love that everything on the menu is vegan so that my sister could choose whatever she wanted for her birthday celebration. We asked the waitress what was popular and she said a lot of people like the BLT so we went for it (two of us changed the bread from sourdough to wheat). It was delicious and my sister got a curry that she said was one of the best she's ever had. We got a trio of desserts, all wonderful.

Zero regrets. The Plot's vegan brunch is everything I want in a weekend meal: fresh, flavorful, and satisfying without that post-brunch food coma. Leaving this review after an almost bad experience to help the restaurant or anyone else that may…read morehave eaten here today. 5 stars for fixing the problem immediately for us. We've been here several times before and what keeps us coming back is the quality of the food. Today, they had a new chef cook our food and it was terrible. Green beans were extremely sour (way way too much vinegar). Mapo Tofu had a ton of oil but not enough sauce, so it was just flavorless except the oil. The fried pork chop was over fried where some pieces you can't even bite through. The rice had too much water in it and was mushy. I rarely return food but this time it was so bad we had to let them know. We returned all of our dishes back to them. They let us know there was a new chef today, and they would remake all the dishes for us with the original chef. The replacement dishes were just as good as all our previous visits and it was excellent again! So thanks to the staff for fixing the problem. I'm not sure if they are training a new chef to take over, or as a backup, but they need to be careful as serving bad quality food like that would drive most people to never come back. We knew the food was good from prior experience, so we knew we could ask why the food quality changed. For first time customers, or those that may have ordered to go - if you had bad food today, it may have been a fluke due to the new chef. Service however was a amazing as usual. For all our visits including today, the staff has been kind and always looking for ways to help out and make sure we were having a good experience. So besides the food being good, I would say excellent service is also huge plus here. Don't be fooled with the automated ordering and robot delivering the food into thinking there is no service. The people behind the counter are awesome! Hope management takes care of this new chef issue quickly since their food quality is the main reason people come here. There was a night and day difference between the original food we got today, and the replacement!

Modern Chinese, Ancient Disappointment…read more EverSpring looks great, sounds great, and is priced like it plans to deliver something memorable. Unfortunately, what I'll remember most is how quickly my excitement turned into polite disappointment. The salt and pepper pork chops were...bold. And by bold I mean shockingly salty, like the chef was trying to preserve them for winter. I've had salt and pepper chops more times than I can count, and this version tasted nothing like any of them. Overcooked, oddly flavored, and just completely off. If this was a creative interpretation, creativity may have gone a step too far. Then there was the crispy beef. I say this with sincerity: it was inedible. Not "I'm picky" inedible--burned-breading-that-tastes-like-toasted-mistakes inedible. Each bite delivered a charming note of scorched regret, like someone deep-fried a crouton and called it a day. I stopped eating not because I was full, but because my taste buds filed an HR complaint. And look, if this were cheap comfort food, I'd shrug it off. But this is sit-up-straight-when-the-bill-arrives pricing. For what we paid, I expected at least one dish to make me say, "Okay, this works." That moment never came. The concept is solid, but the food just didn't deliver. I wanted to love it. My taste buds, however, requested an early exit. Everything went to the trash can. Never again.

When we arrived the hostess told us all of the big tables were full and it would be a 30 minute wait. She also said the kitchen closes down at 1:45 so.... In other words my chances of dining in were slim to none? Or we would not be able to order any food once we are seated?? I really am not sure where she was going with that. My daughter stepped in and asked if there were tables available outside. She said there was but it was probably too small for us, we asked to go see and thought the table was actually perfect for us. So we asked to be seated there. We had plenty of elbow room and the table fit our food perfectly so I am not sure why she thought it was too small. Overall we did not feel like she was taking much initiative to be accomadating on a holiday weekend. The food was so authentic and amazing that I didn't even care. My pesto was so fresh and flavorful, the pasta was cooked perfectly. Everyone in my family ordered something different and everyone loved their dish! Service was friendly but not very attentive. They add a 20% gratuity for parties 6 and up. The restaurant inside and outside is super duper cute and charming. I would definitely come back again as the food was just so good, I would hope to have a better experience with service next time though.
