I was expecting to like this place more than I did. First off- it wasn't easy to find, we had to drive around a bit to find it. The patio area looked inviting, but it was a bit chilly to sit outside. Plus- indoor dining just reopened, so we went that route. The restaurant is cute- at first glance, we liked the whole atmosphere. It took a while to be seated at the hostess stand. There were only 3 other parties in the whole restaurant/ both inside and out. The server was not welcoming, it was kinda awkward too- she would stand behind me when she talked to us. Not sure if this is because of COVID, or she just doesn't have customer service skills. She was not very attentive. I was visiting with my niece, and was just trying to have a nice visit with her. Instead- you had to keep your eye out for the server to try and get her attention. The food was ok- and I mean just ok. I was expecting to be happier here. The portions are tiny, and the prices are inflated. We shared the bloomsdale pizza and the freesolini pasta. The pizza crust was nice- but was very dry, and nothing special. My niece asked for some sauce so it would have flavor. They will charge you for any additions, but not mention it. The pasta was ok- but not much to it. I asked for pepper flakes to add flavor. The menu says no substitutions or modifications- they aren't kidding. Kinda reminded me of the soup nazi- you better be ready to order, and move along. We also shared the pineapple coconut cake and the chocolate torte. We each had a few tiny bites- but my niece is taking them home to eat later where she can enhance them. The cake was dry on the inside. We thought it would be better with some pineapple filling. They were out of several of the desserts on the menu. We stopped in the restroom on our way out. This place was a bit difficult to find. Ended up circling three times total to find the place and then find parking. No substitutions or changes are allowed for the orders, which is interesting if it's supposed to be made fresh. Almost makes it seem like it's not, otherwise why is it so difficult to make a change. We ordered the bloomsdale pizza and the freesoulini pasta for dinner and shared the chocolate torte and coconut pineapple cake for dessert. The freesoulini pasta was great, but it is a smaller portion size. The pizza crust is very delicious, but the bloomsdale pizza definitely needed more sauce. I didn't get any of the sauce or cheese flavor. After taking awhile trying to get the waitress' attention I asked for extra white sauce to add to my pizza and she asked if it was okay that it was going to be cold. She never mentioned that there would be an extra charge, which there was. The chocolate torte was bitter like a dark chocolate with salt on top making a strong flavor. The coconut pineapple cake was very dry, thick, and lacked the pineapple flavor. It could have benefitted from some kind of custard in the middle to add flavor and help with the thickness of the cake. Lastly, the bathroom reeked. It smelt like rotten eggs. read more

Haven't tried their food. My family and I wanted a place to eat dessert and drink coffee. They refused to seat us because they "are not a coffee shop." I have never heard of such policy. They weren't even busy and my family really just wanted some good dessert. If we are in the area, we might stop by again for dinner. I've only been here once, but I gotta say that I absolutely loved it! It's located in a chill area, Old Town Tustin. Parking looks like it could get complicated because it's mostly street parking. But I came on a weekday afternoon around 4pm, so it was easy and the restaurant was empty. Don't be fooled by the lack of patrons though -- it was filled up by dinnertime! I sat with my friends for 2-3 hours and we were never rushed to leave or anything even though we were done eating and paying. I ordered their Panini Poulet ($12.50), which is essentially a panini version of a Banh Mi. It was so good! I loved the sauce and fresh veggies. I also tried their Iced Matcha Latte, which was delicious and not too sweet. Overall, I loved the location and the food. It's a little pricey, but it's vegan food, so what can you expect. I spoke with the manger and told him how disappointed I was at being treated this way, especially as a loyal customer. I will say the hostess and waitress always greeted me with a smile and treated me well. Kudos to her. This is my go-to place to eat in Tustin! We were looking for small bites the first time we came here so we decided to try everything under the vegetables section of their menu (Broccolini, Cauliflower, Green Beans, and Brussels Sprouts). We were blown away by how flavorful and delicious everything was. On our next visit we ordered the Kabocha Salad, Truffle Burger, and Panini Portobello, and they were all incredibly good. The Truffle Burger was a stand out - I remember especially loving the flaxseed bun on it. We came here to pick up some vegan desserts on my birthday and ended up with the Oreo Cheesecake with Lemon Zest, Peanut Butter Torte, the Pumpkin Pecan cake. All were INSANELY GOOD. Probably some of the best vegan desserts I've ever had. The Oreo Cheesecake was especially popular amongst the group. Very quaint little vegan cafe located in old town Tustin. From the reviews looks like this place is more know for their brunch. We came in on a Tuesday night and it near empty. Easy to get a table. Love the atmosphere, ambiance and lighting. Cute little date night spot or good place to hang out with the girls. They have a pretty extensive menu from soup, salads, burgers, panini/sandwiches and lastly ramen! Everything we had ordered were delicious and tasty. I highly recommend their truffle burger (they definitely do not skimp on the truffle!), portobello panini (homemade pesto inside was bomb), and their curry ramen (broth was packed in flavor!) prices are about average for the type and quality of food. We ordered a Freddo (an espresso, whipped drink that was superb) and the Iced Matcha. It had a nice consistency and not overly sweet. As for the food, the burger we ordered was dry. We asked for extra aioli, and it was different. Nevertheless, we doused the burger with the aoli and it became edible. Secondly, we had the Curry Ramen. The broth, noodles, and veggies completed the dish very well. The meat had a funky after taste and completely ruined the ramen. Lastly we had the mocha pie.
