$4.25 for this???? Is like a $1 per fry ......jeeeeeezzzz
Sheddrick W.

Prices are not well thought out. I will never go back! The staff is spread thin so the friendly courteous service is not present here

Mushroom philly and mozzarella sticks
Terence S.

So, I had the mushroom philly and the mozzarella sticks. The philly was really good. I really enjoyed the bread, it was soft. They list the mozz sticks as spicy, but it's not spicy. The restaurant has a nice ambiance; it does a nice tribute to the city of Philadelphia. The service was good as well.

Cajun Fries with perfect seasoning
Jaide A.

Now let me start by saying how upset I am that Fred's is closed at 8 pm. I'm about to cry because that's how bad I want a Philly from there right now!! THAT'S HOW GOOD IT IS!! This was my first time here and O M G ! The Pepper Philly I had today was phenomenal. Outstanding. Magnificent. I added jalapeños and green bell peppers (the jalapeños were missing but oh well, it was still fire). I danced the ENTIRE time I ate. I was humming and thanking God for this delicious meal. I added the Cajun fries at the end and I'm sooooo glad I did! They were soooo good, my co-workers kept tryna steal my fries. They were perfectly seasoned and fresh out the grease. My type of fry! My photos don't do the food justice at all. I placed my order to go and April was so sweet, on the phone and in person. Her name is very fitting because just like the spring, she made me smile. I would come back from the service alone. This business is BLACK OWNED so for those of you who want to support, please do! They deserve it. The actual restaurant was pretty busy during lunch but there was still plenty of seating. I saw so many happy men grubbing, so I knew I hit the mark. I loved all the Philly decorations and I will be back AGAIN for lunch tomorrow since they're closed now I know I'm going to be dreaming about that Philly tonight!

I really enjoyed the American cuisine here--great food and a nice atmosphere overall…read more I ordered the French onion soup and the Reuben eggrolls. The French onion soup seems to be popular here, and as soon as I saw that buttery-looking pastry puff baked on top, I knew I had to order it! It was definitely hearty, with plenty of onions (which I love). However, it was a bit saltier than I prefer. I do wish there were an option to substitute the onion soup with a chowder, like clam or corn chowder. The Reuben eggrolls were surprisingly good! I'm used to traditional Asian eggrolls, so I really liked this creative twist. The house-smoked pastrami, sauerkraut, and melted Gruyère cheese worked so well together. They tasted amazing with the spicy Russian dipping sauce (which I appreciated wasn't too spicy). It was such a flavorful and memorable dish! I'm glad I gave it a try.

Warm wood tones, beautiful lighting, and that perfect upscale-yet-cozy feel make the whole place feel special. The location is ideal too -- easy to get to and surrounded by that lively Shops at Legacy energy without any of the chaos. But the food? Next level. The elk tacos were straight-up fantastic -- perfectly seasoned, tender elk, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of heat. I could have eaten a second order without hesitation. Then came the chicken fried steak, and it did not disappoint. Crispy, golden crust, juicy and flavorful meat, and that classic creamy gravy that tastes like it was made with love. Every bite was pure comfort food elevated. Everything about the experience felt thoughtful and elevated, yet still warm and welcoming. If you're in Plano and want a restaurant that nails both the food and the atmosphere, Haywire is it. I'm already planning my next visit. Hands-down 10/10. It's got that Texas feel to it, but cleaned up a bit. Comfortable, but still a little polished. The food was really solid across the board. You know how brunch can sometimes just be... fine? This wasn't that. Everything tasted like someone actually cared about it. Good seasoning, cooked right, and just enough creativity without overdoing it. It still felt like brunch, just done properly. Drinks were great too. Not over-the-top, just well-made and easy to enjoy. Definitely the kind of place where one turns into two without much convincing. Service was smooth--friendly, attentive, but relaxed. Nobody hovering, nobody rushing you out. Just a good flow to the whole meal. We ended up sitting there longer than we planned, just hanging out and enjoying it, which probably says the most. If you're in Frisco and want a brunch spot that actually feels worth going to, Haywire's a safe bet.

The atmosphere is super laid back and casual, which we liked--but just a heads up, this isn't the place to go if you're in a hurry. They definitely take their time. There's a ton of seating both inside and outside, and the space itself is pretty fun. The decor is entertaining and they even have some little games around, which adds to the vibe. Everything felt clean--the tables were well taken care of and the bathrooms were spotless. As for food, we ordered the Blue Goat, the H.L. Hunt, the Royale with Cheese, and the cheese fries (No Surprise). I had the Blue Goat (no onions). It was good overall, though I wish the blue cheese flavor was a bit stronger. My husband got the H.L. Hunt and really enjoyed the candied bacon. Our son had the Royale with Cheese and it filled him up so much that he didn't even touch fries--and he loves fries, so that says a lot. Speaking of fries, the order was HUGE--easily enough for 5-6 people. If we come back, I'd definitely dig into those first while the cheese is still warm and gooey. By the time we got to them after our burgers, everything had kind of stuck together. Overall, a fun, casual spot with solid burgers and massive portions--just plan for a slower-paced experience.

My friends took me here for my 60th birthday!! Outside of the perfect steaks and stellar service (a great big thank you to Brad our amazing waiter), the music stole the show!! They have this insanely talented musician who performs Friday and Saturday nights starting at 6:30 PM .. he literally has his stage on a landing pad halfway up the staircase with his own little music kingdom. One guy. Several instruments. Electric guitar and saxophone were played effortlessly. You can make requests, which adds to the fun! For example, "Sweet Caroline" was a song that everyone sang along throughout the restaurant lol. Then came something I didn't expect. This musician has made it his personal mission to play our National Anthem on Fridays and Saturdays 7pm sharp. Everyone naturally stood -up, the whole room joined in, hand over their hearts, so much patriotic passion and energy. It was truly beautiful to see people come together in that moment. And just when I thought the night couldn't get better, out came a birthday dessert .. a warm homemade cookie with ice cream and a real sparkler. It was a show stopper!! I haven't seen a sparkler since I was ten lol. Apparently, birthdays are a big deal here, because it felt like every table around us had their own sparkler birthday/ anniversary moment. It was hilarious ... and I loved it! If you're looking for a memorable experience or just a relaxing delicious meal, nothing compares to Texas y'all. TIP: they have valet parking!
