Wonderful hole in the wall in Plano. Big selection of Philly sandwiches. I tried the standard with cheese and grilled onions and peppers. Very good! Fries were also spot on. Counter service and they were quick. Likely the best sandwich I've had in a while

$4.25 for this???? Is like a $1 per fry ......jeeeeeezzzz

Prices are not well thought out. I will never go back! The staff is spread thin so the friendly courteous service is not present here

Now let me start by saying how upset I am that Fred's is closed at 8 pm. I'm about to cry because that's how bad I want a Philly from there right now!! THAT'S HOW GOOD IT IS!! This was my first time here and O M G ! The Pepper Philly I had today was phenomenal. Outstanding. Magnificent. I added jalapeños and green bell peppers (the jalapeños were missing but oh well, it was still fire). I danced the ENTIRE time I ate. I was humming and thanking God for this delicious meal. I added the Cajun fries at the end and I'm sooooo glad I did! They were soooo good, my co-workers kept tryna steal my fries. They were perfectly seasoned and fresh out the grease. My type of fry! My photos don't do the food justice at all. I placed my order to go and April was so sweet, on the phone and in person. Her name is very fitting because just like the spring, she made me smile. I would come back from the service alone. This business is BLACK OWNED so for those of you who want to support, please do! They deserve it. The actual restaurant was pretty busy during lunch but there was still plenty of seating. I saw so many happy men grubbing, so I knew I hit the mark. I loved all the Philly decorations and I will be back AGAIN for lunch tomorrow since they're closed now I know I'm going to be dreaming about that Philly tonight!

Excellent cheese steak. Best I've had in the area. Fast and friendly, calling ahead worked well.

Priscilla was an attentive and kind server who really went above and beyond for us! As we walked up, we really liked the cute patio vibe with cute flowers and a pergola with a lot of fans, even in the scorching Texas summer. We opted to sit inside and it's a cozy setting with a nice looking bar. We came in close to opening and it wasn't too busy but it definitely picked up as we were wrapping just to show how popular this place is on a Saturday. Priscilla greeted us and walked us through the menu and we started with some great coffee. I had the breakfast pot pie and we also had the French toast and eggs benedict. Everything was pretty flavorful and the breakfast pot pie was so heartwarming and tasty. I would have preferred a little more seasoning or spices for some extra flavor, but that's my preference. My parents were pretty satisfied with their dishes. Maybe just a little more refinement to make it 5 star worthy. Overall, we were impressed with our experience and will be back again to try their dinner options that looked really good!

You can add as many components as you want( clearly you pay for the more items you have on your charcuterie board). We chose three meats and two cheeses. The ricotta was so good! Especially when you put a little bit of honey on it-delicious. For the main entrée, I had the crest de Gallo and it was cooked absolutely perfectly. Pasta was perfectly al dente. Chicken was nice and moist. I had a glass of white wine to go with it and I thought it paired really well. I had the Ferrari Capo white wine. Again, though, because this is located off of the highway, it does get very loud in here and they do a happy hour that ends at 6 o'clock.

I went to the bar, where I've picked up orders before, but the bartender didn't even look up or acknowledge me. I then made eye contact with someone at the register who appeared to be a manager. Before I could even say anything, he put his hands up, shook his head "no," and walked away. Eventually, another gentleman came over and asked for my name. He looked through the three tickets on the rack for quite a while, then came back and told me he didn't see my order and that the kitchen was slow. I explained that DoorDash showed the order as ready for pickup. He said he had told the GM, who also simply walked away toward the back. My order eventually came out, but by that point, the issue wasn't even the wait, it was the complete lack of acknowledgment, communication, and basic customer service. I understand that restaurants get busy and kitchens fall behind. What I don't understand is staff acting as though a customer asking about an order is an inconvenience. The overall level of apathy was honestly pretty shocking and extremely disappointing from a location I used to really enjoy.

There was plenty of seating at the restaurant with long tables, sit down tables, and outdoor seating. After choosing our table we waited 15 minutes before our waitresses showed up. They were very busy with the lunch rush so it took awhile between everything. It even took awhile to get our waters. One waitress was in training and learning from the other. The positive was that the waitresses were friendly throughout. After looking at the menu and waiting another 15 minutes we finally placed our order. We got our appetizer after waiting another 15 minutes. Thankfully that held us over until we got our burgers and fries. We started with tostada chips and queso. It was good and we ate it up pretty quickly. We requested another basket of chips to finish off the queso. To eat with our burgers we ordered hand punched fries and sweet potato fries. The hand cut fries were nice and thick and you could taste the salt. I enjoyed eating them with ketchup. The sweet potato fries were also thick and salty and you could taste the flavor of the potato. No need for ketchup with these fries unless you want it. For my burger I ordered the HL Hunt cooked medium which comes with white cheese, bacon, blackberry compote and mustard. The burger was filling, the cheese was melted but it had little flavor, and the bacon was chewy. The compote was my favorite part of the burger as it added a slightly sweet flavor. I requested a medium cooked burger but it didn't taste that way but it was still good despite that. Overall Rodeo Goat has lots of seating and friendly staff but I would go at an off peak time so that you don't have to wait a long time for everything. The food was still good despite the wait.

There is ample space between tables so you don't feel cramped. There are TVs on the walls but it does not feel like a typical sports bar. The vibe is upscale and the restaurant was very clean. We started with the homemade biscuits and they were excellent. The proceeds go to charity so placing this order was no-brainer. The biscuits were light and airy, not dense at all. The jam and butter were the perfect accompaniment. Those biscuits are winners! Everyone should order and help the charity. I had the spicy chicken and waffles and it was excellent. The chicken was indeed spicy but the honey helped cool me off. The chicken was tender, the waffle was light but could have been hotter. If you order this dish, you will need a glass or two of cold ice water! The wife had shakshura and loved it. She got some toast on the side for dipping. The grits on the bottom were perfectly cooked. Her only complaint was the egg was supposed to be runny and it was firm. The kid had sweet potato pancakes but ended up filling up on the biscuits. Overall, food was 5 star and really enjoyable. The prices are very reasonable. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that our server, who was pleasant enough, was not very efficient. I am not sure what the problem was but her head was in the clouds. We would ask for something, she would say ok, and then she would disappear and forget to bring what we asked for. This happened more than once, more than twice, and maybe three times. It became a running joke at our table, what would the waitress forget this time?
