Service was nice but nothing exceptional. No extras were suggested with my sandwich. The store was not busy, all tables, floor and soda machine were clean. I got the Philly cheese steak and it was good but the cheese seemed different than a few years ago when I had them last. The sub bread was toasted but still soft inside. Absolutely perfect. So glad I found this location semi close to home. Will definitely be back. read more

Every time I go to Stonebriar mall I stop by Charley's so when I learned that I didn't have to go to the mall to get Charley's I was ecstatic!!! I always get the original Philly cheesesteak combo & yesterday was no different, it was delicious!! It didn't disappoint!! Shawn greeted and served us quickly! The restaurant was spotless! The tables were clean. Let's just say I'll see you sooner than later Charley's. P.S. They have a kiosk where you can place an order if you don't feel like fooling with ppl. They also have an app where you can earn points & you get $5 for simply signing up. read more

Charleys Cheesesteaks - PHILLY CHEESESTEAK - Cheesesteaks Near Me - Plano, Texas

I was really looking forward to trying this Philly cheesesteak place, but the experience was disappointing because of the employee working there. He locked the doors to the business at 9 PM even though they close at 10 PM, and he refused to let customers use the bathroom because he had already cleaned it. The attitude was rude and unprofessional, and it made customers feel unwelcome. Customer service like that reflects poorly on the business. read more

I was going to eat there today, however upon walking to the front door I was assailed by this most disgusting dirty smell of filfth. It was enough to make me want to throw up. If you have ever traveled to NO' especially in during summer on Bourbon st, you know and sometimes it is more than your senses can handle. They need to do some serious clean up..it makes me wonder about the cleanliness inside the kitchen. read more

Got their boneless chicken wings deal which honestly is pretty solid for the price. Also got the loaded fries. DO NOT GET THE LOADED FRIES. The cheese is the horrible cheap cheese and it makes the fries SO soggy and you can't escape the cheese. For the wings we got the thai sauce and another one and they both were solid flavor wise, but the chicken was just eh. I would stick with the normal fries and the cheesesteaks read more

Charleys Cheesesteaks - boneless wings and ULTIMATE FRIES - Cheesesteaks Near Me - Plano, Texas

Order online and food was ready when I arrived. Everything was good and I saved a little money because I signed up for a reward membership.

Tried it for the first time and ordered the old school Philly . It's got cheese whiz! I liked it and the fries were good too. A nine inch and large fry can feed two people easily for an affordable meal. Enjoy read more

I'm not the type of person to ever leave a review but wow. First time ever trying this place and they not only gave me the wrong sandwich, I asked for a peach lemonade and got Diet Coke, and payed for ranch that I never received. To top it all off the food was fcking cold. Like we can't be serious. Don't even want this bs they gave me. Never ordering from dis place again. EVER read more

8/23/22: Picked up a couple of Philly cheesesteaks to go, and they were great! Very good meat to bread ratio. The bread tasted nice and fresh. The fries were very good as well. Highly recommended! read more

Charleys Cheesesteaks - Philly cheesesteak. - Cheesesteaks Near Me - Plano, Texas

I ordered couple sandwiches and a cheese fries, for immediate pick-up. Then I discovered my wife created a gocery store run first...I tried at least 5X to call the 14th St shop, no answer/no voicemail. Finally got the shopping done, called again, THEY answered! Told them my situation, that I had ordered two cheesesteaks, about 30 minutes earlier, plus cheese fries. Would they please give me a "fresh" order of cheesec friews, since it was about 30 minutes later. They said (the counter guy) no problem... Got there to pick the order up, ask if the friex were fresh, he said, "yes." Got home... Dead cold fries, not even reheated, much less a new order! Soggy, limp, not the quality I expected, and was told to expect...AND THE CHEESE SAUCE WAS THE WORST EVER! COLD, TASTELESS, BLAH!! Very disappointed in the 14th Street Plano Charley's. Ordered 5:37, pick up finally at 6:25 PM, just a simple accommodation with new fries... Probably not going again, if the counter folks lie to the customers... Paul S Plano, TX read more

Good/fast service, pretty good Philly cheesesteaks, many options to choose from. I recommend. I got the Philly cheesesteak combo and added banana peppers and jalapeños with gourmet fires (cheese, bacon and ranch). My husband got the pepperoni cheesesteak combo and Carolina Gold BBQ wings. read more

Derive and atmosphere were fine, but these are nothing like Philly Cheesesteaks! 1. The cheese isn't cooked in with the meat; it's melted on top. 2. There's lettuce, pickle, and tomato on top. 3. There's no cheesesteak hot sauce like every other cheesesteak place. They just have grocery store fare like A-1, siracha, etc. When I go to a Philly cheesesteak, I expect to get one. This isn't it. NOT the best cheesesteak in town like they claim. read more

I've been waiting to try out this place for a while and finally had the chance tonight. 3 stars is being generous. We got 2 Philly combos with the ultimate cheese fries. One thing you have to know about me is that I LOVE cheese fries and order them often from different venues. These were titled "ultimate" but fell short of that. Regular fries with nacho cheese and bacon pieces slopped on top. I could've did that at home. The old school Philly I tried: I took only 1 bite and it was salty as hell. I'm a fat girl but even this was too much for me. I threw it away. And for what we paid, they could offer a bigger size drink. Just saying. read more

Very good service. My order was hit and ready. Quick, easy, reliable. Will be visiting again real soon.

Went in to order my food everything was great until I opened the box and there was tomato and lettuce and Mayo on it. I was unaware of these things coming on it. Because on the menu it doesn't state that, it says "onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and provolone cheese". I tried to informed the manager that I am in fact allergic to Mayo and asked if he could make it again. He ignored me went to a new custom and told the worker to just put it on new bread. I tried to tell him that won't work and he ignored me again. So I started talking to the kitchen to inform them that, that will not work for me. When I went to sit down I heard him tell the employee "she better get some penicillin". I am writing this from my car I opened my box to see that the sandwich wasn't made right AGAIN and they did in fact just put it on new bread. I can only assume this is the image you want for this company. Playing with someone's food allergies is malicious and borderline attempted murder. read more

I love a good cheesesteak. This place can make a good one, but I just put the one I ordered this evening in the trash. There was so much salt on it, I couldn't eat it. In fact, there was so much that I didn't even dare to feed it to the dogs. Don't get me wrong, I am okay with a NORMAL amount of salt, but when you can't taste the meal and only taste the salt, it's way too much. I have a hard time believing that the amount on that sub was an accident, but maybe, it could have been. It's the first time in my life that I have tossed a cheesesteak in the trash because it was inedible. I wish I had time to take it back to the store, but I don't. At least the fries were okay. read more

The food is great but when I went there the person at the counter asked if I am paying with cash or a card? I felt like saying what does that matter if I haven't ordered yet? I said card. I was the only customer in the place and she told me to use the self order terminal thing. I order a lot on line for pick up or delivery but this is like going to a restaurant sitting down and ordering from your phone which is ridiculous then it ask for a tip! I know some people like that but that should just be a option like self check outs at stores. I stopped going to CVS and other stores for that. I will not be going back to Charley's. I will continue going to Jersey Mikes or Tonys unless they start playing this game also. read more

Authentic NY style full size slice. Had the pepperoni. Right amount of cheese. Two slices were enough. Service was prompt.

Good food, good atmosphere. Conveniently close by. Affordable prices. Will come again.

Wow, such a good Philly sandwich! I've never been to a Charleys before but I was shopping next door at Tom Thumb and decided to order a sandwich for lunch on my way home. It was ready in less than 5 minutes and the cashier/server was so nice. They put extra onions and mushrooms on it at no extra charge. I loved everything about the sandwich and will definitely be coming back to try the wings. read more

Very good quality! Within a few minutes of the hotel I was staying in. The boneless wings were meaty and great!

LOOOOVE this place. Food was so good, staff is so friendly and helpful. Ambiance is great and wait times were really short!! Great spot.

The wife and I got the classic cheesesteak sandwich. I was impressed they were really loaded at very delicious. I haven't had many cheesesteaks in my life but this was a good one. I got a large regular fries. It was a big order and tasty too. I do believe I will return there in the future. It's something different on my go to places list. read more

Got the bacon 3 cheesesteak and was not impressed. Not much bacon and I guess there was three cheeses but couldn't really tell. Not the best I've ever had. Some of the fries were not cooked long enough. First time here and very disappointed read more

I'd love to review their food, but I'll never place another order here. I ordered through UberEats and had to cancel the order. There was less than 2 minutes between placing the order and me hitting cancel. The restaurant claimed they were already making my order and refused to refund my money. Absolutely terrible service experience to have them steal from me. read more

I have eaten at several of the stores in the DFW area. This one is my favorite. It is extremely clean, staff is attentive and very friendly, the food is fresh and hot. You don't have to beg for condiments like ketchup. Drink selection is great. Highly recommend the lemonades. The cheesesteaks and chicken Phillys are both really good. Parking is plentiful. It is light and very open. Restrooms are very clean and well kept. Prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this location. If you know me I can say I do not do this for all locations like the Broadway shop. This franchise is my favorite. read more

Ordered online to go for six people - so a pretty big order. We went to pick it up they only gave us part of the order so we had to go back and pick up the rest of the order and after having to call about the missing items - I still had to ask for a left off drink. Food was okay in flavor - but it was at this point freezing cold - may have tasted better if it was hot.... But the lack of concern of them getting the order wrong was enough to say that we probably will not try again. read more
