The air conditioning was broke in the building and it was hot with no air movement at all. The floors on the back to the bathrooms were so slick I felt like I was standing on ice. The food was okay. My tacos had way too much cilantro and the pop machine was out of ice so we couldn't have cold drinks. The service was good and I feel bad for all of the employees having to work in such rough conditions. Overall not a great experience. read more

Ordered through Grubhub and was missing an item. Tried to call them and they never answered the phone. Contacted Grubhub to complain, but there's no phone number for them. One top of this, my order was one full hour late. They offered a $5.00 credit on my next order, (which will NEVER happen). The $5.00 doesn't even cover the missing item. This is a really nice fast food Mexican restaurant in Richardson by Richardson Square Mall. The ingredients are fresh and the grilled chickens you see being cooked behind the counter are seasoned well. Service is good. On my last visit I had the avocado chicken taco and chipotle burrito. We picked up a takeout meal tonight from El Pollo Loco. It was hot, delicious & the chicken moist. Every quarter they have some new menu items which change & we like to give those a try. Our current favorite is the 2-piece chicken with 1 tamale and rice & beans, for only $6.45. We like that there's a fresh option of avocado to add to your meals & some entrees come automatically with fresh avocado. My son and daughter had the three-piece chicken with two sides. Their sides were macaroni and cheese and broccoli. My daughter also ordered a taco that through the app it was requested not to put the sauce on there, which they did, which she did not like and overpowered the taco as well as make the tortilla soggy. The vegetables had no seasoning. The macaroni and cheese, according to them was worse than the box stuff from Kraft. I had the cheesy chicken and rice bowl, which was average at best. I also had the shredded chicken taco, that was probably the best thing outside of the salsa itself. Five, and the shredded chicken taco a three. My wife had the shredded beef stuffed quesadilla as well as the avocado chicken taco. Both were average. I like the thickness of the chips, however the flavor was non-existent. We received order in the drive thru and as soon as I grabbed the order she said "did we forget something?" I felt as if we were being rushed to pull off when she said that and lo and behold they forgot my salad order. Had to go in store and as I was letting the young man at register know that they forgot my salad in a nice way, they yelled from back we making it! Went to the drive thru a couple times now and the ordering process, speed and food have been great. Very tasty food and I like how new this place looks. In CA they always kinda look run down. Terrible service. I pulled through the drivethru and place an order for one chicken salad. She just took my car, charged it, gave it back and said park on the side and wait for the order. I parked on the side and it took 15 minutes for the order! Nobody pulled through the drivethru in the time span I spent parked waiting for the order. She had terrible attitude.
