I have been to multiple locations and all of them are Very Clean and the staff are all very professional. While we were parked right in front of the store, we ordered Firehouse subs on DoorDash for pickup at 9:23 pm tonight. The app said orders accepted until 9:30. As soon as we placed the order, our card was charged and then our order was immediately canceled. We watched a kid walk over and lock the door. I called the number and a kid answered saying "hello". I asked if this was Firehouse Suns and he said "yeah yeah yeah, why?". I explained to him what happened and he said he wasn't the manager. He was talking over me and very rude. I've become a big fan of Firehouse and I love a good hot sub. My go-to is the Hero sub. Always hits the spot and fills me up when needed (I get the large size, don't judge). Not a whole lot to say other than the service is always friendly and the food is always on point. It's a fast sub place so set your expectations accordingly, but I prefer this over most if not all of the others that are similar. Also i think some portion of the cost goes to support firefighters, which is neat. If you haven't been, give it a shot. I'll be returning. read more

This location is absolutely amazing. Given all that is happening with COVID-19, they are taking additional precautions. It was fairly busy but that did not stop them from providing great customer service to everyone. The location was large enough to be more than 6 ft apart. Hannah is the store owner and you could tell by the way she jumped right in to help her staff to ensure all flowed well and the interactions she had with me as a customer. read more

I get such inconsistent service here. I've ordered once and had great service, I order two week ago and got a sandwich that had 5 items I ordered left off, even things that CAME with the sandwich. I ordered last week and it was perfect. I order tonight and I get a sandwich with onions and lettuce ONLY. I order the exact same thing every time so it's ridiculous. I've been going to this Firehouse Subs for the past yeah and a half and I have never had a bad experience. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and helpful. I have been coming to this Firehouse basically since they opened. I have had no problems until the last few times when they have gotten my order wrong. Now I have let it go the first three times but then the last time when they got it wrong I made a comment and the manager called me and offered to remake my order or offer a refund, I went with the refund option. At the time the manager(Carlos) mentioned it should show in my account in about 30 minutes which was perfectly okay I was just happy they were very responsive and helpful so I went about my way. Three days later no refund in my account so I called to just let them know and was told to come back in store and try again so I came back the next day and re-tried the refund, 9 days later still no refund so I went back and complained and say okay I still haven't received my refund he said give it one more week it could just be taking awhile so I waited and waited and got nothing. I returned to the store today 3/14 and instead of a refund I asked if they could remake my order and the employee told me that was not possible " He wasn't allowed to re-make orders " I asked to speak to the manager and they said there wasn't one working so I asked if they could call and get permission. They come back and said ya he didn't answer so I called the corporate representative and spoke to them in the store as the employee was being disrespectful and very rude about everything. The representative asked to speak to the employee on the phone and he walked away from her and didn't answer any of the questions she was asking. Finally another employee comes out and remakes my order and at the end said I was no longer welcomed because I called corporate. Got home opened my sandwich and my hookin Ladder was burnt and looks as someone just poured some kind of juice on it so you couldn't see the burnt because I picked it up and it leaked and felt like a sponge and could smell the burnt bread. This is the worst experience I have had with a restaurant and their solution to a wrong order is telling them they're not welcomed back. read more

I have had a great experience at this location. There isn't much different from this place than the others I've visited (Rockwall & Mesquite), but I did appreciate that the cooks will put whatever sauce you want on the sandwich for you. I love trying to hot sauces, but it's a pain if you're getting your sandwich to go. Just use the app and order ahead. Show up before it is being made or type it in the instructions if you know what you want. Ask for the cooks to put it on your sandwich and they will do so. The employees didn't know what I meant when I said I wanted my sub with the "bread scooped out." They looked at me funny and after a minute said "you mean less bread?" When I said yes, they proceeded to tell me they don't do that. They only cut it differently. One day I thought I would give it a shot for a big sandwich to bring home and share with my wife. Good call... this place is different from the others brands I have tried. It was very odd and out of place on an italian sub. But my big complaint is the lack of an infant changing station in the restroom. I agree with the previous posts, the layout of this place is a little silly. Makes it awkward to go get a refill if there is a line. I would have rated a 3* but I think the 2* rating is unfair b/c there was no changing station. That seems like a pretty poor reason to rate a 2*, especially seeing as a changing station is a courtesy not a requirement. So I'm trying to make up for that. The food is solid. I tried 1/2 of my bf's meatball and he had the other 1/2 of my turket sandwich. They both came out piping hot, rather tasty, and made to order. The staff was helpful and friendly. I first heard of Firehouse subs when they came to the high school to offer the booster clubs a discount box lunch for the students. Me being the president for the AFJROTC I was delighted to find an easy option for the kids to take on away games and to pass out even for home games and competitions etc. The total price for the box lunches are only $5.00 this includes either a turkey or a ham on white or wheat, a bag of chips, a cookie and a water! It's a great deal. Now, when I came back just for my own family I ordered and what I got tasted so much better then the box lunches due to the fact that the meats where steamed on the one I got that day. Just amazing taste and I'm not a huge fan of sandwiches. Fresh and hearty. Just yummy that's about all I can say. However, I hate paying nearly $9.00 for a sandwich, chips and a drink. I don't know why I have such a hang up about this but I do. So, I took away a star just for the cost. Also the set up is a little odd and can cause some congestion at the register making it hard to get to the soda machines and bathrooms. On the food alone its by far a 5 star on the other issues..well, brings it down a bit. read more

Everyone kept raving about Firehouse subs, and we've seen different ones around. Being new to texas, we weren't familiar with this chain. Oh em gee. I'm here now and I have to say. I can't wait to come back. And I'm here sitting in the restaurant. I texted the hubs because he would be in heaven here. THEY FREAKEN STEAM THE MEATS. I like Fireshouse Subs food but this location is just not set up very well. The space were you stand in line to order blocks the walkway for the majority of the dining area from the drink machine and restrooms so you have to shuffle people around to get by. The tables in the dining area are uncomfortably close together. I do like their food but usually order for carryout from this location. read more

I like this place. I know it's hard to screw up a sub, but I have seen it done. As far as chain sub places I think this is WAY better than Subway. The meat is steamed and the whole sub gets heated so it comes out nice and warm. The flavor is great as well. Prices are comparable to other chain sub shops, and the family has gone here about 6-7 times. It is busy on the weekends and they seem to still do a good job. The setup of the restaurant itself is the only awkward thing. It's built like a shotgun house with half of the place taken up by the employee/sub building work area. They have 2 doors (front and back) but if someone is trying to get out you have to definitely wait for the folks to clear out before planning on entering. read more

One thing I like about this place is the abundance of hot sauces available, many of which you probably never heard of unless you're a connoisseur of the spicy liquid. Unfortunately will not return to this Firehouse Subs location and it is not due to the food but the rudeness of the staff. My sister and I stopped here on Friday a little after noon - there were only 2 other people together at a table but it was obvious they were filling a large to go order. This was not the problem and we would have been patient and glad to wait if only 1 of the 5 people working there had so much as acknowledged our presence. There was no "we will be with you shortly", no eye contact at all! We waited at the counter for at least 10 minutes (probably more like 15) before deciding we were tired of being treated so rudely and left - not one word was said as we exited. I had to wait for over 15 minutes for my order while three teenagers played and stood around. When I got home ( I only live five minutes away) The sandwiches where cold and had onions on them when I ordered them without. Not only did the onions ruined the sandwiches there was so much dressing on it we only ate half of it. This place used to be good not anymore. You might want think about who you hire these teenagers are costing you business money. I won't be back and I will make sure I tell everyone how bad it was today. read more

One of the better Sub Chains there is . Very high quality meat at this location. I met the manager and he is a very gracious host even comping me a drink on my first visit through. Again the meat in my mind really makes these sandwiches. They may not have all the Variable selection of a subway, but the sandwich as a package just works, with little reason to tweak any of them.
