Honestly don't know why this place is so idolized. Sure, it's an okay burger for its price, especially when compared to like a Wendy's or a McDonalds, but to me, it just doesn't compare to something like Mooyah or five guys. Burger MUST be animal style (which is not listed on the menu -- you just have to be "in on it") to be edible, and even then it's pretty strong for me. Bun generally tastes like it came out of a grocery store bag. No flavor other than sour and salty. Fries are their lowest point for sure -- they taste like packing peanuts and you have to put ketchup and salt on them. Every time I've had a shake here it's been alright though. Keep in mind also that this location is ALWAYS busy, especially in the drive thru. Plan to come inside if you're in any semblance of a hurry. I was in Dallas visiting my sister and I couldn't leave without trying In and Out! We arrived here to a pretty packed restaurant but they got us in and out very quickly. They will give you extra chilis and sauce on the side but you have to ask. These burgers were amazing and very well seasoned. I could eat these all the time. The sane signature In-N-Out flavors and excellent service. I went through the drive thru and was greeted in person with a smile. My order taker suggested a Pup Patty since I had my dog with me so we ordered one for $1.75. If you're not familiar it's an off menu item...a plain burger patty unsalted. I love In-N-Out and my girlfriend and I eat here pretty regularly. Decided to get it for breakfast and visited today just after 10:30am. We were the second car in the drive through. Ordered two burgers two fries and a shake, they repeated my order back to me and it all sounded good. When they handed me the food the woman at the window was kind of rude and almost dropped the bags at the handoff. Pulling out I realized we were missing an order of fries, we weren't charged for it, so I figured somehow it didn't get added despite it being read back to me. I went inside and explained what happened, the woman at the front asked the woman at the window what happened, she snapped "No it was two burgers one fry!" Then they tried to tell me I only ordered one fry so they're gonna charge me for the second. This is exactly what I said to them when I explained it to them, and I even already had my card out. I don't understand why they would get standoffish and try to blame it on me, especially when they read TWO FRIES to me when reading back my order. After that, a man asked if it was to-go or eat-in, he also said he only caught the tail end of the conversation and wanted to make sure everything was taken care of. That guy was polite, but the other workers were kind of rude. I chose to go to in n out for breakfast over several other restaurants this morning, I don't even care if my order isn't 100% accurate, but when people are rude for no reason it'll make me not come back. Animal Style fries literally hit so hard. I went with a group of friends around 11:00 PM at they were pretty fast at getting our orders out. I got a hamburger and it was so good. The vegetables are crispy and pretty fresh. The sauce is literally to die for. Since I first had in-n-out a while ago, the fries have improved. There was only one other customer in front of me when I placed the order, but the order took very long to prepare. I feel like the staff were too busy trying to make sure that the drive thru line kept moving so they would prep drive thru orders first. My double double burger animal style was good and fresh, but I didn't care for the fries: they were cold and soggy and pretty tasteless. The lone cashier inside seemed overwhelmed because she pretty much had to do everything to help the customers at the counter (taking orders, providing condiments, etc.). It's located conveniently off the service road and has a lot if shopping in the area so it's a great location to stop for a bite before getting your errands done. My first time at an In & Out! What amazed me from the start was the incredible service from the super young employees. These were the politest kids that I have ever come across. Honestly, it was a little dystopian but so cute. I was surprised that they gave "sitting in the car in the lot" as a dining option. How did they know that was my plan??
