I literally made a yelp account just to give this store a review. I've worked in the food industry for 12 years and I am not the type to leave a review. This is my first. I'm a very understanding person and understand that mistakes happen, but when it constantly happens with my orders from a specific store- I have a real issue and my frustration will be heard. 1st off- I am an onion lover. I won't eat a sandwhich or a burger WITHOUT onions. I've ordered from this store 2 or 3 times through door dash. I currently do not have a vehicle and I had a major surgery on my leg that required 74 stitches. Every time I ordered through door dash I put extra onions on the order, so yes, it is on the ticket. In order to make sure that I got extra onions... I have called them to reiterate that I WANT EXTRA ONIONS. Every. Single. Time. The first time I called them with this issue, the guy was extremely rude, I said I'd leave a review as bluff. He replied "then do it!!!!" Very rudely. I didn't leave a review. I ordered two sandwiches today and neither one of them had extra onions on it, yet again. The woman I talked to was nice, but that doesn't give me $30 back. Door dash does NOT give a full refund back over onions, doesn't matter if I don't eat the sandwhich because of the inconvenience. Sounds like they need better workers- this is unacceptable. I refuse to order from this schlotzsky's again. They lost an extremely loyal customer. I worked my way up to manager status, if this was my store- people would be getting fired. No, not over onions, but over the constant skimpiness issues over ingredients, lack of listening skills, and rude behavior. read more

Excellent Food and Kind-Hearted Service - Murphy, TX I stopped by the Schlotzsky's in Murphy, TX around 12:30 PM on a Tuesday and ordered a BBQ chicken sandwich, not realizing it came with bacon--which I can't eat. When I unwrapped it and saw the bacon, I was upset at first, but quickly realized the mistake was mine. I went to the counter and explained my situation, just asking to order something else. The team member who helped me was incredibly kind and understanding. I chose a turkey sandwich and was fully ready to pay for it, but he gently told me he would take care of it. That small act of generosity truly made my day. As always, the food was amazing. Schlotzsky's really knows their craft--the balance of flavors in their sandwiches is spot on every time. There need to be more people working when it's busy. Don't even bother trying to go through the drive thru because it will be a super long wait. Our order was mixed up with someone else food so it was an even longer wait. We have a food allergy and need GF bread and were confused when we opened the bag to food that was not ours. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I ordered a sandwich and a drink. When she gave me the total I asked it was for the 2 items I ordered as it seemed almost $5 dollars higher than expected. She said it was correct. After I paid and looked at the barely legible receipt it showed she charged me for a combo I did not order or receive. When I asked to be refunded for that amount I was told no manager was in and I will have to try and come back when they were there to get a refund. This is not acceptable as a business practice. I picked up an order at 5:45pm January 20 at the Murphy location. I had ordered a "pick 2" that consisted of half an Original Deluxe (double meat) without onions, and a bowl of Chicken Tortilla soup. The soup had no chicken or tortillas, but made up for it in black beans, which I do not eat. The sandwich had onions, which I assume made up for the extra meat that was missing. Sandwich had obviously been sitting under a heat lamp for hours, as the bread was so dried out, it appeared toasted! I attempted to call four times, but was sent to a recording. I went there today for a sandwich in the drive thru and had a bad experience. The lady at the window handed me someone else's order 5 minutes after waiting for her to open the window.. she was confused when I was trying to pay. When she asked me what I ordered she said hold on and told me to put to the next door which I did and watched the two cars behind me get their food and leave. The car behind me started honking so I had to go back around and the lady at the window started waving the bag out while I was so far away. I pulled at the original spot she told me to wait and she just came with the bag without apologizing or anything after taking 20+ minutes to give me my food. My wife's post was deleted for some reason so I'm re-posting, along with an update. I went through the drive thru of this location on March 3, 2020 and ordered the BBQ chicken pizza for dinner. I became violently ill, I'll leave out the details this time, around 4am the next morning. I visited my primary care doctor first thing in the morning and was told to go to the ER if my symptoms worsened. In the meantime, I called Schlotzsky's to notify them of my illness in case there were other sick customers. I spoke with the manager and he was very rude. He didn't believe me and asked me to provide him with a doctors note. Later in the day, my symptoms worsened and I went the the ER. After further evaluation, they admitted me for the night and confirmed it was a severe case of food poisoning. I'm now stuck with over $2,000 in hospital bills. I have no respect for this company and will never eat here again. read more

When we lived in Denver, Schlotzky's was a regular place to visit for lunch. It was quaint and the friendly staff served great quality food that would satisfy even our vegetarian palette. Needless to say, we were really excited about finding a Schlotzky's in Murphy. To our shock the pizza tasted like something finds in the freezer aisles, and the service was from someone looking like why people of our kind would visit here. Significant improvements need to be made. Until then, you have lost potential regular customers. read more

This was the best made Schlotzsky's sandwich I've ever had. The roast beef was great, the bread perfectly baked (not chewy) and the veggies were fresh. That was enough to make me want to leave a review, but wait. There's more ;) The staff was kind and helpful. And this is the best decorated fast food restaurant I've ever seen! I love that they have a drive thru!!! Makes life easier! Also love that there's always some kind of special or freebie stuff for you when you have the app! This is a much higher end version of "fast foods." As it has a nice dining area, benches tables, stalls etc. always clean when we come. We have only experience excellent customer service with every visit. My kids love the kids meal (they always get the pizza with soda/juice and apple slices). The crust taste fresh and "home made." I know this is weird but their ice is so good! It's the sonic kind that melts in your mouth and so easy to crush with teeth! In fact, I always get tons of ice when I'm here I love the Sicilian sandwich and brisket Mac and cheese. It's a few dollars more than what I would spend at subway but well worth it for the quality. Love coming here to dine with my family. I'm glad they're in Murphy now! read more

I ordered the Chicken BBQ & Jalapeno pizza for dinner last night in the drive thru at the Murphy, TX location. I woke up in the middle of the night dripping sweat, throwing up and I had bloody diarrhea. I went to the doctor this morning and they confirmed it's a really bad case of food poisoning and could possibly be E-coli based on the severity of my symptoms. They took stool samples from me for testing, I was prescribed antibiotics, and was told to go to the ER if it gets any worse. I called the Schlotzsky's Murphy location to inform them of the situation in an effort to prevent other customers from getting sick. I asked for the Manager and Curtis answered the phone. I told him what happened and he was not sympathetic at all and was in disbelief. He asked me to send him a note from the doctor proving it was food poisoning. He also said no one else had called about being sick and insinuated that I was lying. He asked me what he wanted me to do about it and I told him I just wanted to let him know so no one else gets sick. I am still in shock at how Curtis handled the situation. I will never return to Schlotzsky's after this experience. read more

I came into this location for lunch today, this is my "regular" Schlotzsky's because it's closest to my house. Normally when I come there aren't many people dining in. Today they had quite the rush! Even though they were busy, and short staffed, the restaurant was sparkling clean, plenty of clean tables to sit down. A younger girl took my order. She was very thorough and kind. Barely even five minutes later my food came out, correctly, and it was so delicious. A gentleman came and took my tray for me and told me to have a great day. I've eaten at this Schlotzsky's restaurant a few times and I've always had a good experience. The food is fresh, and prepared well. I get the same thing every time( medium turkey "original) so it's my go to sandwich. Their portion sizes are generous, so sometimes I can't finish it. Besides sandwiches, I've tried their broccoli cheese soup, which was hearty and tasty. I always go late, but that's my experience. read more

The manager was super helpful and friendly. He took the time to greet us and answer all questions since it was our first time at this restaurant. We went around 7pm and there was maybe 5 customers eating. The cashiers were slow but appeared to be trying their best. The location is new so we were understanding. The not acceptable part was waiting 17 minutes to get our food. And when we finally got it it was not correct. Rather than waiting another 17 minutes for a redo we simple ate it and left unhappy. I won't go back for their food but we may return due to the fact that it seconds as a Cinnabon. Hopefully your experience is better than ours. read more

Went through the drivethrough a week ago and only found after getting home that the order was botched and had little meat. Fast forward to today, slow to get to the table but fine. My Angus sandwich was pathetic. I say they're confused why someone would delivery this. It had to be 1/3 the meat I've grown to expect from this chain. This Schlotsky's is so hit or miss. Sometimes the sandwiches have hardly any meat, other times the bread is stale. Had take-away yesterday since I was shopping in Murphy. The spicy turkey smoky cheese sandwich had very stale bread. The deluxe original was great. Other times when I have ordered a "specialty" sandwich, it will be very skimpy on the meat. Very busy Christmas Eve lunch at the new Schlotzkys location in Murphy. The staff here was upbeat and friendly. In particular Mar was my cashier and was so helpful to recommend dressing up the regular veggie sandwich with the basil pesto and balsamic glaze that comes on the caprese instead of the ranch which I said I didn't like. That made that sandwich amazing!!! The Manager Rick was super helpful getting my coupon to work. Even though they were busy, we were offered twice for someone to refill our drinks. I've never had this nice of service at a Schlotzkys before. I will definitely continue to give this location my business!! read more

This location is closest to my work so I've been here a few times and it is terrible! This is the 2nd time I've gone and they messed up my order. The first time I asked for a CHEESE pizza and they gave me pepperoni after I made it clear several times that I wanted cheese. Tonight I went and ordered a small original, jalapeño chips and a drink and a kids meal for my son. They didn't give me my chips or my sons chocolate chip cookie, yet I was charged for all of it. Ordered a dozen mini cinnabon on a Thursday at 1pm for a 5:30pm pickup. Arrived at 5:45pm at drive thru, was told they needed 6 more minutes and asked me to come in and wait. I waited 15 minutes to be told I would have to ice my own buns as it's fresh from the oven and too hot to ice. Girl handed me a bag and I was on my way. Only to arrive home to see they only gave me icing. I called, they told me they were going to give me the buns but I'd left, that they tried calling me but it went to a business. I verified my number on the order and it was correct. Girl said she would let her supervisor know. I submitted a complaint on their site with no response from anyone. Won't be returning here for either business. read more
