Our monthly book club likes to try different restaurants for lunch...so here was picked. It is in/near an actual Ford dealership so I guess we can buy a car too...lol! The restaurant has all kinds of car references like the clothes napkins are oil rags with O-rings around them (never used ). There is an old Ford Motel T (?) hanging over the bar. Speaking of bars..they have LOTS of alcohol drinks offered and a happy hour daily. A specialty is their 8 oz hamburgers, fresh daily. I ordered one with truffle sauce and it was great!; comes with fries I subbed a salad for $2 more and it was a wonderful salad/ ranch dressing delicious! We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon on a whim, and were so glad we did! The environment inside the restaurant is nostalgic and completely adorable. The burgers were fantastic, as was the chicken Cobb salad. But the highlight (by far) of our experience was our amazing server, Davetta. I ate here with my family on Sunday for dinner. We had reservations but it was not very busy. The server was nice and took our orders. The atmosphere was very ford/ car themed. Overall nice bar atmosphere. The food was also good, my daughter liked her kids meal. I had chicken tenders and really liked them. There was a point after we finished eating where we waited 15-20 minutes for the check, other than that it was a great experience. It was a dark and stormy night... I mean, day. It was definitely day, around 4PM. We, a band of three weary travelers, had journeyed far from Jupiter (Florida, not the planet) to an undisclosed location somewhere near Athens, Georgia. Our bellies grumbled in protest, demanding something more than gas station peanuts and regret. The answer to our hunger? Perhaps a gas station hotdog that has logged more miles than my 2010 Ford F150 pickup truck? No, i'd like to think that I have outgrown such questionable decision-making Ford's Garage Restaurant was on our minds. Long time eater, first time Ford dining. We phoned in our order like seasoned road warriors.. three burgers, two with fries, one with onion rings, and were told it would be ready upon arrival. Fate had other plans. The pickup window, camouflaged better than a ninja in a blackout, was hidden around the side of the building with nary a sign. After pressing a mysterious, button with a hand outlined on it, secured to a piece of aluminum frame, a window creaked open. Success! My imagination considered only two outcomes from the button, customer service or a trap door beneath my feet. "Picking up? Name? Just a few more minutes, we're putting it together now," said the first of four window-keepers. Ten minutes passed. "Just a few more minutes, we're putting it together now" exclaimed the second keeper. Then twenty. "Just a few more minutes, we're putting it together now" said the third keeper, along with something else I didn't quite hear, which I later discovered was him asking for payment, but I missed that part. We just awkwardly stared at each other for 15 seconds or more. He, wondering why I wasn't reaching for my wallet and me, wondering how much food gets caught in that mustache. Realizing we weren't just admiring each other's beards,, a lightbulb lit above my head.. literally, which made it easier to figuratively fish out my wallet, and thus I pay, plus tip... I'm not a monster. Hindsight will later dictate a different percentage, regrettably much too late. Each time, a new face emerged, offering the exact same prophecy: "Just a few more minutes... we're putting it together now." One brave soul even shared that onion rings were to blame, and that six different crises were unfolding inside, each falsely being pinned on him. Alas, his troubles are not where this journey takes us. Finally, our feast arrived. The bag was handed over with the promise of ketchup and utensils already nestled inside. In reality? Five ketchup packets. Total. For three people, three burgers, and two orders of fries. The math simply didn't ketchup. I briefly considered ditching the girls and keeping the ketchup to myself, but I left the keys in the car with them. Now, the food: The burgers? Glorious. Delicious. A taste-bud triumph. The fries? Lukewarm, dry, and unworthy of their proximity to such majestic beef. The onion rings? Acceptable, if underwhelming, and limited to a grand total of six. The utensils came individually wrapped in a plastic pouch; knife, fork, spoon, salt/pepper, and one napkin. One. Just one. For finger food. Bold move, FGR, bold move indeed. Would we return? Possibly, but not for the dry-fry, not for the onion rings, and not for the ketchup rations. The burgers, though, just might tempt us back... assuming we remember to bring our own condiments. Three stars. For the burgers, and the burgers alone. Six onion rings, five ketchup packets, four window keepers, three disappointed star rating, two tasteless french fries, and one napkin each. read more

Second time at a FORDs garage and have no complaints. Atmosphere was comfortable, food was excellent as always. I ordered the Fords Signature burger, cooked to perfection. Service was decent. It wasn't busy so I think our server was a little slow to check on us. I finished my drink pretty quickly and it was as empty for a while. Maybe she was new or just taking advantage of the slow start to the lunch crowd but she got better over time. Overall definitely recommend this location. read more

We randomly found this place while shopping at the nearby outlets and were very happy with our experience. There is a large parking lot outside and the door handles to enter the building are made with car parts. The whole aesthetic is very cool! My family of 4 was seated right away at 4:30 PM for happy hour. Premium liquor cocktails were only $4 - sweet!! Everyone enjoyed their burgers and I was happy they had a veggie burger option. You could substitute any burger to have a veggie patty for no extra fee. I picked the "high octane" burger with a veggie patty: Tillamook® Pepper Jack Cheese, Guacamole, Chipotle Ketchup, Chopped Romaine, Tomato, Red Onion, and Fresh Jalapeño Peppers on a Brioche Bun. It was really good and spicy! I subbed the fries for mac and cheese and didn't really like it, but my boyfriend did. I ate most of his fries and would order them next time. The favorite burger at our table was the "estate burger": Smoked Gouda Cheese, Sweet Red Onion Marmalade, Arugula, Tomato, Fried Onion Straws, and White Truffle Bacon Aioli on a Brioche Bun. Awesome burgers! Came in today 3/29 around 5pm. There were 5 of us total 3 adults and 2 kids. I called before to see if they took reservations. The girl on the phone said they do reservations 24hrs ahead of time. So that was out. When I arrived wait approximate was 20-25min, time ended up being about 10min so no complaints. We were seated outside. It was a little loud with the music. We ordered drinks first, at the same time we put our food order in and apps. Food and apps all came out together. Cocktails were decently priced my mule was $11.99, margaritas were in the $10.50 range. There were many burger options prices ranged from $14-$17.50. Food did take a while to come out, but I did notice the sign up front that asked to be patient with longer wait times. Therefore, no complaints. While I was waiting I signed up for the Motor Club and since my birthday was on 3/24 I was still eligible for a birthday Sunday. It was a refreshing treat to end the evening. Please please give recognition to our waitress Kaycee she was the sweetest, and such a great amd attentive waitress! We ate at Fords garage back during the peak of the pandemic and thought they were good. Today on our monthly trip to Costco we decided to give them another shot and see if anything has changed. Well they definitely were good during Covid but have gotten even better over that time period. Even with a lengthy wait to be seated we went to the bar to kill some time. My beer was topped with blueberries, strange but delicious!!!!! As for the food the onion ring tower was hot and crispy and my Vegan burger had a chipotle ranch that was very spicy but delicious. Such a well thought out business. So close to Daytona so the racing, garage theme makes a lot of sense but they did it without being too cheesy. They paired local figures with a type of burger that is logical and brings in ties to the local community. I like to see that support. Stopped here for lunch for a bite. My second time going to show off the cool interior with all the car-themed trimmings and decorations. If you are a car aficionado you will love all there is to see. The food isn't bad, but it isn't great. The French Onion Soup was not properly melty with too much bread, but the broth wasn't too bad. My ribs were very tender but the rub wasn't overly tasty. The sauce was okay. The Mac and Cheese is seriously lacking cheese and flavor. My daughter did enjoy the smoked brisket melt sandwich, however. Service was good, although we had to ask for napkins and silverware. There is a huge beer selection you access from your phone, which is both cool and annoying at the same time. Pro Tips: Use the "Join the Wait List" link on their website. The lines are usually long. Reservations are not taken for the same day. Cons: They need to post an instruction manual in the bathroom for using the gas pump sink faucet! My boyfriend took us here for my birthday Thursday night (2-20-25) our first time. Our server, Krisenda was absolute delight and so wonderful!!! She was amazing, laid back, very thoughtful, she definitely went above and beyond for us! She treated us as though we were at a five star restaurant. Actually I'd give 3.5 stars. It's clearly a tourist trap I think. I mean the sampling of old pictures around is cool and the real old Ford that hangs over the bar. Service was ok. Sadly, I had no hard seltzer options. Though there are tons of beer choices, but if you don't want that it's not helpful or you are forced to get a cocktail or mixed drink. The burger is what they are known for. One person in my party got that and said it's a decent burger so you won't be upset if you pick that. My salad was underwhelming and I didn't finish it. Another person got fish and chips and it was a big portion and he said it was good. The fries were good also. I went with my wife on a Tuesday around 7PM. My wife called earlier in the day to make a reservation. They don't take same day reservations but said we could call ahead 30 min before we got there. We called when we left our house to head that way and they said they weren't taking call aheads. It was a little frustrating but when we got there we checked in and waited less than 5 min. No harm no foul. The inside looks pretty cool. There are cars and car parts all over the place. I'm not a gear head but thought it was neat. I started with some drink that was on the specials menu. I'm not a run guy but it also had peanut butter whiskey. It was pretty good. My wife got a lemonade with booze that she really liked too. We started with the Firestone shrimp. My wife usually goes for the spicy fried shrimp app if they have one. This looked like it had been sitting in the window a little longer than it should have but it was still good. I had a work trip to Kansas City the week before we went and I told the server that when I asked her if the burnt ends sandwich was any good. She said it was one of her favorite things on the menu. It wasn't KC BBQ but it was pretty good. My wife ordered the burger that had peanut butter on it. It originally came out without any peanut butter. We sent it back and the plopped a glob of PB on there and sent it back out. I don't think we'll make it a point to go back but if we're hungry and in the area it's an option. read more

She recommended the estate burger. I was skeptical about the onion, sweet marmalade and asked for it on the side. After receiving the burger and trying the orange marmalade which returned out to be very tasty. I added it to my burger and it certainly added great flavor. We were also visiting from out of state so we wanted to check out this place as it was fairly close to our hotel. I loved how cool the decor was. Very cool restaurant theme. It is attached to the car dealership and their old car memorabilia and antique gas pumps complete the look. The service was top notch, and the food was well cooked. The management was engaging was genuinely interested in the client's overall experience. He stopped and chatted with us, gave us a little history on their concept, which made you hopeful for their continued success and expansion, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and it was prepared well and very tasty. Fords garage is so amazing. The staff is amazing. The ambiance is amazing. The food was 10/10 for our whole group of 24 people. Our car group got together for a cruise and afterwards we headed to Fords Garage. We didn't make a reservation, we were able to be seated and greeted in such a timely manner. Less than an hour, on the spot, for a group of 20+. The manager was super awesome, making us feel so comfortable and taken care of with such a large party on the spot, and the hosts were so sweet. This was my first time to the Fords garage. The fact it sits in the middle of a Ford dealer is unique. The old Ford models and car parts all over is very clever. I'm glad the food and drinks were above par. I started with a beer flight. I like to mix my beers and when I asked the server for a glass she brought me a plastic cup.
