    BUYER BEWARE The retailer has a presence on Ebay. I recently purchased a UPS from them and upon its arrival I noticed the OEM packaging had been resealed. Some internal packaging was missing and there was a noticeable burnt electrical smell. The date on the bench test was 2015. It looked new. Charged the batteries overnight then turned it on. It immediately alarmed, the batteries had no charge. Trickle charger is broke. Sent it back for a replacement. Received the replacement with even less OEM packaging and this time the bench test date was 2002. Yeah, you read it right, 2002. After charging the batteries it powered up just fine and after a couple hours I plugged my PC and accessories in and forgot about it until about a week later. Alarm went off and I saw the batteries were dead. Again, the trickle charger broken. First off, they were selling them "new" which they weren't. Second, that is fraud and is considered a crime. I've reported them to Ebay but who knows if they'll straighten them out. They screwed me twice so now it's time to return the favor. BUYER BEWARE

    I purchased a Ryzen CPU from Focus Camera through their eBay store and had a terrible experience. They failed to disclose that this was actually a drop-ship item from Amazon, which created numerous issues. When I tried to have them add my apartment's door code to the delivery instructions (so the driver could actually access my building), their only response was that I needed to contact Amazon directly to provide the door code. This was impossible since the order wasn't under my Amazon account, so Amazon couldn't help me. Predictably, the package was lost because the delivery driver couldn't access my building. When I contacted Focus Camera about this problem, they again deflected responsibility and told me to deal with Amazon directly - despite the fact that I never ordered anything from Amazon! I ordered from Focus Camera on eBay, so they should have handled this situation. The lack of transparency about their drop-shipping practices and their unwillingness to take responsibility for the order I placed with THEM resulted in a lost package and wasted time. I would not recommend purchasing from this seller.

    I definitely wish to update this review. Was contacted by office manager and lead salesman. They credited my card with the amount in error and assured me that it was in error and sales person would receive some training and perhaps attention to detail. I will recommend focus camera at this time. Updating again. Decided on a upgraded camera. They are doing a great job helping me and my endless questions. Definitely will order printer/game camera and other lens from them in the future

    everything included in package, but no one responded to a couple questions i asked on yelp, so im giving a 2 star for poor customer service

    Do they really have the Nikon D850 in stock? B and H, Adorama, and others are back ordered. Does Focus Camera seriously have in stock or will "drop" mail it when available.

    Call them and ask for a sales rep. When the A7Riii was sold out everywhere, I hit them up and Max (one of their salesmen) helped me get one right away. I had it within a day.

"Okay," I said, perplexed as to why a shop owner wouldn't want a customer to look at his products. "Do you have any large format cameras?" Gabe listed three large format cameras they had. I asked if I could see one of them and he said, "What's wrong with a high end 35mm?" He asked. Again, I was perplexed. I told him that's not what I wanted, and I already own 2 35's, and 2 medium formats. I asked again if I could see the Hasselblad. He told me I had to make an appointment to see it. Yeah, okay bud. "Like a doctor's appointment." He said. I'll make damn sure none of my other photographer friends or co-workers ever supports this place. The service was absolutely horrendous.

Variety of merchandise is pretty wide with DIY sections being rather useful and interesting. Aisles are clean and wide, well-lit. It's easy to reserve pieces of merchandise online in order to later pick them up at store. Mail-in freebies offers are nice, too. The Brooklyn location amenities include large parking space and restrooms. There is no loud, crappy music blasted into your ears. Thank you for that! I tend to escape some establishments where music is loud and annoying. Too bad that the store has no seating spaces, since the location is quite spacious, and if you have time to spend there, you get tired. Definitely do your homework before visiting Micro Center, as that place is certainly intriguing, but your experience there is much better, if you know why you are there. If you decide to misbehave at that store somehow badly, then keep in mind that a New York City Department of Correction building is right next door :) .

I specifically came here after ordering a Web order of one of the two things they had - and then the following sequence of events happened. 1. My web order was not on the shelf, even though I had a confirmation email, they saw the confirmation email in their system, and then weren't able to find it after 10 minutes of searching. They then told me to go to the floor (no help, no direction on where to go) to go find what they lost 2. I am told to go to a sales representative on the floor. I tell him what I need, knowing that there is still one left in their inventory since I didn't buy them out with my Web order. He searches the generic name of the brother labels i'm looking for (literally "brother's label cartridge"), the results are very long, he doesn't go past the first page, and he tells me that they don't carry that here at all 3. I then show him the page on the website with the right name. He finally looks it up. he tells me it's an aisle seven and tells me to go there. 4. I go to aisle seven I search for another 10 minutes, no help from any staff at this point, and no cartridge to be found - neither the one I ordered online nor the one they had left in inventory. Look, I know mistakes happen, but there was a point of friction on every single step in this process. There was no accountability, no support when things went wrong, and no accommodation once the experience is wrapped up. I've had two negative and two neutral experiences. I've tried. I'm sorry. Never coming back, and I'll let my friends know my experiences when it comes to electronics
