The next day, they called me and said that the problem is with Software, which they can fix for $150. I decided to wait with the repair, as I was soon about to go to visit my son and wanted to show my laptop to my son first. It turned out that it was just the lighting of the screen went to zero and the son showed me 2 buttons that regulate the illumination of the screen, one with a plus, the other with a minus. After such an experience, I will never turn to this company again and will not advise others. Now I understand why among Russian -speaking in America there is a distrust of Russian businesses. Shame on you!!!

My memory card was literally broken with missing pieces and there were pictures of numerous trips my parents did to Europe years ago and those pictures were pretty much priceless. I tried everything to try to get them myself but was unsuccessful. I was able to get back pretty much all of the hundreds and hundreds of pictures!! The service was very fast and at a great price. I would definitely use this place again and again no questions asked!!

Excellent service! My hard drive suddenly stopped working (I wasn't able to access my files) and it…read morehad my entire life on there. I was desperate for a company to recovery my files, and I came across Data Recovery New Jersey. What set them apart from other companies is that they fix hard drives IN HOUSE, meaning they do not ship it out elsewhere to get fixed. I wanted to hand deliver my hard drive directly to the source, and I was able to do that. Larry was great to speak with, he's super knowledgeable and helped me understand the possible issues & how they'd go about repairing it. From speaking via email to meeting in person, he was very thorough and made me feel like my hard drive was in good hands. The repair took around 2 weeks (I wasn't in a rush to get it repaired, I told him it can be put on the back burner as long as it got done). I had him ship my recovered data back ($20 shipping fee, $70 for a new hard drive for him to put my recovered data on), and HALLELUJAH he recovered all my missing files!!!! I am forever grateful to this company, they legitimately brought back all my precious memories.

It kept shutting down. No amount of at home troubleshooting was working for me. Optech Solutions is in my neighborhood. I had never been inside previously but noticed the sign that said they fix phones, computers, etc. I was greeted by Stefano & Simon a father and son team. They were friendly, attentive and very knowledgable about my MacBook. I left it with them with crossed fingers knowing that it was an older model. I received a call from Stefano later that evening and learn that my motherboard was partially fried from overheating (I noticed my Macbook would get super hot while I was using it but didn't think anything of this). Stefano said that he would do his absolute best in replace the motherboard but there would be no guarantee of it functioning because of how delicate the process is. I kept my fingers crossed and wiped away tears! I dropped my MacBook Pro off on Sunday and the next day on Monday I had gotten a text from Stefano that said he was successful!!!!! He was able to not only replace my motherboard but upgrade the hard drive from HDD to SSD which would greatly improve the performance. You have no idea how happy this made me!!! The cost was completely reasonable!! All in all my visit to Optech Solutions was a fantastic one and I would highly recommend this business to family and friends. I always prefer supporting a local brick and mortar shop vs. a huge store like Best Buy. I will absolutely be visiting them again for any of my electronic needs.
