Got my passport photo taken here on the spot. Really great service and a lot of people came in to pick up developed photos. Seems pretty reliable.

One of my friends moved to NY and recommended me this place for developing and scanning my film. They were told for me to just DM them on Instagram (@992photolife) for instructions on how I can ship my film. They responded very quickly with thorough instructions. Their instructions are actually posted on their Story highlights as well but I noticed it way after I DMed them. I used a 6x9 bubble mailer and put my 5 rolls alongside cash for each roll and my personal contact information. I put in my note that I wanted to develop and scan my 35mm film in color. Each roll was $5 for developing and scanning. From my local post office it was about $5 to ship the package. I dropped off on a Tuesday night. By Friday morning, I received the download link to my scans in my email. They scans were absolutely beautiful and of such great quality. I was extremely happy with how they turned out. They emailed/called me asking if I wanted my negatives back and I said yes so I Zelled them $5 and they told me they'd sent my negatives out tomorrow morning. Everything happened within a course of a few days which I was super stoked about. Super fast turnaround time. I'm definitely getting my film scanned and developed here from now on! Thanks again Photo Life!

Photo life has my heart! $6 dollars to develop my 35mm film rolls and their quality is amazing (one of the best I've seen). Before knowing the existence of this place, I was getting scammed back in the UES for $20 PER roll. When I found out it was $6 here, I was sold. Turn around was about three hours for three rolls that I had left that day, which I was pleasantly surprised for since the counter said I should expect it in two days. Quick service, amazing quality. Definitely recommend.

Super fast, reliable film developing in the neighborhood. They service so many people at once and have never let me down in terms of quality and service. And they're genuinely friendly and sell local film as well, so I like to pick up a couple rolls every now and then.

    Discoloration.

The store had a wide range of products and services available, from passport photos and prints to family portraits and frames. Gregg took the time to listen to my questions and provided recommendations for family portrait photos. What impressed me the most was the quality of prints because you can no longer get this quality at places like CVS, Walgreens, or Shutterfly. The prices were also very reasonable, especially considering the quality of paper prints. If you've ordered from Shutterfly you'll know that the paper quality is like the one ply Scott toilet paper. Of if it's Walgreens, the color is off or grainy even when your photo is high resolution. Overall, I was extremely impressed with my experience at Quick Shots, and I will definitely be returning for all of my future photo needs. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for quality prints and passport photos.

Was cussing just to say "bad" words which doesn't bother me but come on really keep it somewhat professional. Then the real problem, I simply wanted to get some screws replaced that are corroded or get an idea of the price. Nope told no you don't need to replace them and just wait until it gets worse before fixing a small problem to solve a bigger one down the road. Legit just looked at it and said it's only corrosion on the screw head, which I'm not sure how you can tell there is not corrosion on the body without removing the screw. Forgetting the fact that once the chemical process starts it doesn't stop and will continue to get worse. I also had to wait so I got to hear also how he interacted with other customers and safe to say it was not great especially the people in front of me who seems new to photography. Would be far better off just going to B&H if you're new or looking for gear.

Then they opened a return, claiming the camera was defective because the screen didn't turn off automatically. This was a simple setting in the menu. I even sent them a screen shot of the manual showing exactly what setting to change. I got an incoherent message from "Manuel" saying they closed the return, but they actually did not and sent it back anyway. You'd think that people who sold cameras professionally would be able to navigate a settings menu, but apparently not. I can only surmise that they are yet another typical unethical New York photo store and returned it as "'defective" because they wanted to save on postage, since in defect returns, eBay makes the seller eat both the original and return shipping. I thought this kind of behavior had gone the way of the dodo when most of these outfits were killed off by the digital revolution, but apparently not.
