Not only did they help print photos of my grandmother in different sizes, they also retouched the photos to improve the quality! They also digitized old photos I brought in with incredible speed for the funeral and took care of placing the photos with kindness and thoughtfulness into the albums. Without their incredible professionalism and personal touch, this all would've been absolutely impossible in the span of 24 hours. They're the sweetest family around, and they've given us incredible photos to help our family remember my grandmother !!

I'm not sure they even care about selling gear here, just interested in making the customer feel dumb. They do sell old cameras and gear, which most shops don't these days, so I have to give them one star for that. They have lots of random gear in this store. Check out "Accurate Photo Shop" in South Slope for a nice, family run business if you need film or film processing.

I know my shit when it comes to cameras. Gabe asked, "What do you want?" and I responded that I was just looking around. "Well, that doesn't help me." He muttered at me. "Okay," I said, perplexed as to why a shop owner wouldn't want a customer to look at his products. "Do you have any large format cameras?" Gabe listed three large format cameras they had. I asked if I could see one of them and he said, "What's wrong with a high end 35mm?" He asked. Again, I was perplexed. I told him that's not what I wanted, and I already own 2 35's, and 2 medium formats. I asked again if I could see the Hasselblad. He told me I had to make an appointment to see it. Yeah, okay bud. "Like a doctor's appointment." He said. I'll make damn sure none of my other photographer friends or co-workers ever supports this place. The service was absolutely horrendous.

My only observation is that I wish Focus used a faster shipping method like some other retailers. Other than that no problems and the price was very reasonable. I still find the Westcott FJ80 Flash one of the easiest flashes on the market to use. The touchscreen is a game chabger. This is the second one I have. It has the ability to update, so is things change in cameras and new models come out, Westcott updates the flash for a compatibility. That's pretty cool. The other big draw to this camera is it's a multi camera flash. It can be used on every camera. So if I'm shooting with a friend that has a Nikon and I have a Canon, My friend can use my flash if he doesn't have one already. I hope to get a FJ400 full location kit from Focus when I can afford it!!!

I bought a pair of headphones online, and then received a package that did not include the headphones or anything similar. I instantly got in contact with them letting them know the issue, and eventually after several weeks of back and forth they had me send the package back. From then on they refused to refund me because I did not return the item I purchased, but it was made clear several times that I never possessed the item I purchased at any point. So now I neither have the headphones nor the hundreds of dollars I spent. They are a scam. Avoid them.

With pointed questions, Henk was very good at helping me set clear goals around my photo storage and organization. During our first session he immediately helped solve what was an ongoing mystery about where stacks of my digital photos were stored, how to access them, and then how to integrate them into a complete library. Previously hidden from me, Henk was able to unearth my family's history and bring it back into the present. In addition, as part of the integration and upgrade to the current operating system, he added keywords to my photos so that I could better find them later, which saved quite a bit of time on my part. Henk can advise on backup planning, and organizational models, and provide customers with key guides to working with software so you don't forget how to execute the plan once he leaves the project.
