I usually replace my glasses every 2-3 years so I decided to give iLOOK a shot this year…read more I've got to say, I was pleased with the amount of styles and brands that they offer in the store. Their sister company, Eye Solutions, which is on the next block also offer more options and also provides the same service and costs. Bought a pair of saint laurent frame according to sales rep on the phone on July 1st of 2023…read more Considering a pair of frames I bought only a little outside of 1 year and how the frame of the glasses does not hold up, im starting to wonder if it's really authentic. I asked if there is anything they can do, and all the rep said was nope, there's nothing we can do and it's only 1 year warranty. I barely used these glasses as they are not my daily glasses, always stored in the manufacture glasses holder. The only eye glass cleaner i use are the ones sold by them with their brand. They don't offer much help and basically 1 year after purchase date, they're basically saying to get out. Might want to rethink on the quality of glasses they sell and the customer service they provide. Elsewhere is better. They don't even offer services for repair or any solution to it. Nose bridge piece is already chipping off and flaking causing discomfort to wear. Honestly im just pretty upset about their customer service.

I found them from my provider list and looked them up to see that they are a small family business. We came on a Saturday late afternoon and they were wonderful. We wanted to look at the frames first to make sure there is something for us before we agree to do the eye exam and use our insurance to process everything. The father Bill, daughter Kristen and tech Jennifer introduced themselves to us and was very helpful. We felt that the service was amazing. They were attentive and worked with us since I'm picky with frames. I even explained that in the past the Optometrist had purposely given me a higher prescription which forced me to squint for an entire year back in college which then forced my eye prescription to increase. Dr. Amir was understanding and said my prescription didn't increase much and it would be similar to it. I'm looking forward to picking them up and to see how it looks. I'm excited as this would be new glasses since 2018= new look.

The purchase of glasses came with free eye exam, anti-glare and adjustment. The doctor was very professional and cleanly; he sanitized and wiped down all the equipments right in front of me. I felt comfortable to put my face on the machine and the room wasn't cramped like the ones i've been to in manhattan. He usually leaves at 6pm and come on certain days. The store is open all seven days and closes at 7:30pm. There was a wide selection of brand name prescription and sunglasses to pick from. The staff members here speak English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Cecilia was very helpful in explaining everything clearly, she was very accommodating and friendly. I am usually very picky when it comes to shopping yet she had a lot of patience and kept her professional composure. It was a enjoyable experience selecting a pair of fashionable eye glasses with her because she offers great suggestions. The boss is lucky to have such an exceptional employee like her. Everything went smooth, quick and easy; I picked up my glasses the day after my eye exam. I am very happy with my purchase and got two other people I know to come get their glasses here. I highly recommend this place.

Came by on a Saturday morning with hubby. With their covid policy, you can pick whichever frames you like to be place in a tray and wait until the "fitting room" is available. They sanitizer after each person by wiping both the table and mirror and afterward they also sanitized the frames you try on. After awhile trying on frames, I finally decided on the frame I wanted and went to discuss pricing. It seems like Eye Solution no longer take my insurance. Good thing we didn't do the eye exam yet and discuss pricing first. I recently make a purchase of eyeglass from the 18th Ave Eye Solutions store. The experience is…read morereally bad. I make a purchase before Thanksgiving and the store promised it will be ready on December 1st. I visited the store on Dec 1st but it said eyeglass hadn't arrived. Understandable since it's during Thanksgiving time. I called in 4 days later asking about the status and the sales said my eyeglass had arrived. I went there on Friday and for my surprise, the sales told me "my eyeglass did arrived 3 days ago but they don't have time to assemble it!!!!" So I asked them to do it right away but they argue no man force to do the assemble at the moment. At the end, I wait till Monday(7 days from what eye solution promise) to receive my eyeglass. It's really ridiculous from the "Eye Solution" services, lack of responsibility and not even felt sorry for wasting customer's time. The price of eyeglass is not cheap and there are many other eyeglass store in the neighborhood. I would not recommend it to anyone.
