There was another "Photo land NY" company listed on Yelp but not the same address and the number also went to voicemail. I think we just lost out on $200.

This interaction wasn't a good start to my process but my husband had been there a few times and we needed a few pics printed for our photo wall. My husband ordered his 8X10 of our wedding photo and it was printed to perfection = $4.90 My order was a bit more complex because my frames were round so I wanted to make sure they could edit the pic and print it in the shape of a circle. The other counter girl there helped me and explained it would be an additional $5 to just resize into the circle shape plus $2.49 for printing. I needed 2 so we moved forward. She explained the process again and price. I said ok. Then she repeated it for a 3rd time. I said I understood. I emailed her my photos and when she opened them up she again explained the pricing. I got annoyed because she felt I didn't understand and I became unsure she could do it. They had me pre-pay for the circles which was frustrating but I did it. She said come back in a hour. But I stayed. She opened the pics and edited & printed and all turned out perfect. I'll go back again if needed but I'll try not to do odd shaped printing. But I loved how everything turned out.

BEWARE OF THESE FRAUDS!…read more I ordered a camera from these people because they had the best price. 2 days later I get an email from them stating that I HAD to call to verify my billing address. Really? I typed it there in black and white. So I call, and was promptly hung up on twice, then kept on hold for 15 minutes. Finally someone answers. Basically, it was a total scam to get me to call so they can sell me overpriced accessories to my camera. Obviously to make up for the beating they are taking on the low low price of the camera. After arguing with him for a good 5 minutes telling him that I don't want a $400 memory card that I can buy at Target for $35 bucks, he gets huffy and tells me he will process my order. Thank God I have good instincts and called back later in the day to cancel the order. (On hold another 15 minutes, after being hung up on by the automated phone dialer 3 more times.) This photo studio has been around for a long time. It used to be located right under the Kings…read moreHighway train station, but has since moved to E15th and Kings Highway. Today I went over there on my way home from work. It was 6:55pm; I needed two pictures printed ASAP. I asked the owner when they close, and he told me 7:30. I was back at the store at 7:10 with a memory card. The owner went on to charge me $2 for the pictures, while his price list clearly states .29c a pic, with prices per image decreasing, the more prints you get. I asked him why he was charging me so much, since his price list states otherwise. He told me it was because I came late. I told him he should put up a sign that indicates that. Now, I don't mind paying the $2, but why should I be extorted just because he decides to change prices last second, because he didn't feel like doing any work his last 15 minutes of the day? I told him that I'll blast him on Yelp. He told me he'll blast me. Nice. This is a case of not supporting the small business owner. Go to CVS, Walgreens, or Duane Reade for your pictures. This guy is a jerk.
