We felt right at home as soon as we stepped stepped into her studio. Our daughter loved it! Jen was great at keeping her calm by singing to her, and letting her play and explore. The photos are stunning. Very casual and great candids - just the right amount of direction to get the perfect shot. We just took photos for our daughter's 2nd birthday, and once again the experience and photos were beautiful. I sincerely hope that Jen will be able to take out family photos for years to come. We used SweetBorn for our newborn son's first photo shoot, and couldn't be happier with the results. She has an amazing setup in Brooklyn, and makes you feel like home, during the shoot. Unlike other photographers who tend to only capture a few good ones here and there, every shot Jennifer took turned out wonderful! We can't say enough good things about her service -- from initial inquiry to post production. She really cares about her work, and wants to ensure you are completely satisfied with the results. If we're fortunate enough in the near future, we will definitely be using SweetBorn again!

First, Maryna has such a warm, welcoming, gentle, and professional personality that puts you at ease from the moment you walk in. Her studio is quite large and have many different props that can be used to create the most beautiful newborn photos you can ever think of. What amazed me the most was how gentle and delicate she was in handling our newborn, from helping us change him, to soothing him so easily and naturally to put him to sleep so she can capture the picture perfect moments! She helped rock him when he fussed a little, and even changed his diaper for us when we were preoccupied with our toddler. She was so sweet and never showed any signs of frustration, especially when our toddler gave us a hard time during the sibling and family pictures. Her vision was amazing and exceeded what we imagined in such a wonderful and artistic way. This is probably the best newborn photoshoot experience we've ever had and I highly, HIGHLY, recommend giving Naemi Photography a try and I promise you won't regret it! Thank you so much for reading and best of luck! (:

She also did some family shots with my husband and three year old that are absolutely gorgeous. It felt like we were just being our regular selves and then all of a sudden she was like" Ok we got it." The pics came out amazing. She also came back after my daughter was born to do her newborn portraits, and again great success. We plan to use her for our family photos going forward. She's a great person and an extremely talented photographer. I don't know what is stronger , the positive energy she brings into your space or her skill level with a camera. LOVE.

Her style is exactly what I was looking for: Fun, vibrant, candid, authentically NYC, and keeping true to the kid's character. Her photographer's eye is incredible, and the composition of her shots is truly art. She picked the best spots for our family shoot and was so kind and patient and worked so well with my fussy toddler who will *not* pose or stand still for more than a few seconds. Despite the fuss and the sweltering 90+ degree summer heat, she got a ton of gorgeous, incredible shots that perfectly captured my kiddo's glee and happiness :). She knows how to work with kids and never pushes them to do anything they don't want to and plans the photoshoot route very strategically to maximize great shots. She's also super quick to respond, professional, and had my photos done in less than a week! My jaw dropped when I saw the pics because (a) they were gorgeous, and (b) I don't know how she got so many awesome pics of my kid smiling because I mostly remembered whining and fussing, haha. I can't wait to have another session with her! I'd recommend her to anyone looking for fantastic, unique family/baby/kid photos in a heartbeat.

This review is embarrassingly overdue because Sai has been my single greatest Yelp find! Found her…read moreon here and loved her style immediately. Beautiful and not overly posed. I find a lot of professional baby and family photography to be kind of cheesy and I really appreciate her approach. Also - I find her pricing to be VERY fair. Our first photo session with Sai was almost 2 years ago. I remember it just flew by and I felt comfortable the whole time. I'm not usually very confident in front of the camera but Sai's casual approach put me at ease and it really helped me that she showed me images as she was shooting and explained what she was going for when she would ask me to move or pose a certain way. She was definitely in the drivers seat - which I appreciate - but it still felt kind of collaborative and that really helped me feel comfortable. My son was the main focus of the shoot but we took a quite a number of really beautiful unposed shots of my husband and I both holding him that were ultimately my favorites. We also did a handful of posed family shots but I don't think we ever spent more than 15 minutes on those. We really had a great time and absolutely LOVED our photos. ...so much so that I've since hired Sai 2 more times! We've done 2 full sessions with her and 1 mini session. I found the mini to be great once we'd passed beyond babyhood into toddler time. Just short enough to hold my son's attention and get a few gorgeous shots of him - with and without my husband and I - and by the time he was getting bored, we were done! I definitely recommend the full sessions for baby shoots - but I think you can get away with a mini session for toddlers and older kids. I've also recommended Citybird to my sister when she had her baby (she also loooved her photos) and a handful of other friends - one of whom just booked Sai to shoot her wedding!

I had been shopping around for a photographer for some time now. Kristina's photography is different. She has a natural documentary-style approach, uses natural light, and photographed my child running around being silly in my very own home. From the moment I met her and saw how she interacted with my son, I could tell that she's successful at what she does because she loves what she does. That comes across most clearly in her photographs--they are beautiful and sharp and real. She has a talent for finding a subtle detail of emotion and highlighting it. She is a true artist and professional. I recommend her to every mom and dad I know, and will use her again to photograph my son.

I had the good fortune to watch her in the culling process, and therefore to witness the thoughtfulness and care she brings to the project, and the rationale behind choosing any one photo over another similar one; indeed, she thinks of the complete package, and how all the photos together will tell the story of our show and our company.
