I had gone down to the office where I discussed details about the event, $600.00 was the price he gave me for a couple of hrs, I didn't care about the $, I just wanted someone professional to take pictures of this important day & not have to worry about anything. We also discussed date, location of the church which was Holy Name Of Mary, Marty (the owner)who was very nice at the time, was well aware of the church & was very familiar with it, He said they've done plenty of shoots there. On the day of the christening Scott was my photographer, who arrived at 2:00 ,he asked me what I would like pictures of, I had told him most important in the church when the baby is up at the alter getting christened & when priest goes down the aisle & puts the oil on the baby forehead. Ok moving foreward, a couple of weeks go by & I now pick up my Flash drive where all my pictures were stored, as I'm viewing my pictures, all my pictures that were taken inside the church were so grainy,Fuzzy,& no matter who I showed them too everyone said the said the same thing, I couldn't believe it, they couldn't even be fixed, I was so upset! But I was trying not to think about it. I had called Marty & asked him about it, his response was "I'm looking at them now & they look clear" ok we're talking about a 95 year old man here, so I didn't want any problems I let it go. A couple of months go by & now I decide to have done of these photos printed, I go through the photos & once again I'm very upset because photos are not suppose to look like this. There were also files on my flash drive that were corrupted, so I decided to take a trip down to Kornfeld Studios with my mom & the baby to see if this could be fixed. There was a very nice kid working alongside with Marty who fixed my flash drive with the corrupted files so that was taken care of. Once again I had showed Marty the photos he said " those photos are fine" we hand out photos like that to wedding, there's nothing wrong with those photos" I mean come on really you hand out photos like that, I'm being referred by another well known photographer (that I won't put his name in this review, but Marty knows who I'm talking about)& he would never send out work looking like that, these photos couldn't even be photoshopped, my phone has taken much clearer pictures than this! I wasn't looking to argue but Marty was so rude, his response was " well what do you expect it's a dark church! First of all Marty when I booked my event with you, You were very familiar & that you've done plenty of events at Holy Name Of Mary. My two other kids were christened there & the pictures were clear, my daughter did communion back in April 2017 & the photographer that was in charge for that day took beautiful clear pictures. If that was the case Marty maybe you shouldn't of booked my event if that's how you felt, you should of never booked the job if you felt it was such a dark church & couldn't handle it, but quick to take my $, Can you believe a photographer telling me "Well what do you expect it's a dark church" you gotta laugh at this. I was so upset I told him I would never book another event with him again & he responded to me with " Good who wants you back" my response to him was but Marty I was referred to you by another photographer, you don't have to be so rude & disrespectful! I mean this is how you run a business, it's embarrassing for him & even more the other photographer who highly referred me to him. He has got to be the rudest person I have ever met! I wasn't looking to argue or get something for nothing, I paid $600.00, I wanted memories not headaches & those memories could never be fixed. I don't recommend this place, if they can't shoot in dark places then they shouldn't be in the photography business.

I went in to meet with Safet and was impressed that you get quite a bit with their packages. I also liked the way they set up their albums which were slightly different than what I had been seeing so I went ahead and booked them for my event. The night before my engagement photo shoot Safet contacted me to tell me he was double booked and someone else would be taking our photos. Not what I signed up for but I went along with it. Brian took the photos and they came out pretty good especially considering my husband made us 40 minutes late for an hour shoot. When I spoke to Safet about how long it would take to get the photos back, he told me 4-6 weeks. It took 8 and he never contacted me to tell me they were ready. I had to reach out to him several times. Fast forward to a week before the wedding day I go in to meet with Safet to discuss the schedule for the wedding day and to pay my balance. Everything went smoothly. It was never discussed that we would have two photographers the day of the wedding. I always assumed it would be one. But on my wedding day both Safet & Brian showed up, on time and ready to work. They were both professional and engaging. Brian at one point even put on my grandmother's wig jokingly. On our way to take our "first look" photos there was some confusion on my part about transport to the photo shoot and then to the venue. To ease the pressure, Safet offered to drive me to both locations. The day of they both made things easy and simple for both me and my husband. They were with us the entire day for almost 12 hours and didn't even eat until the reception. The reason I am not giving them 5 stars is primarily because of events after the wedding. I have had the darndest time getting a hold of Safet. Its been one year since I told him which three photos I'd like for my portraits. He brought me three photos 9 months later but they were not all the correct photos.Two were correct and one wasn't. He told me he would order the correct one that night. Two months later I still have not received the correct photo. It took 7 months to receive my album and even when it came in he did not let me know. I had to contact him numerous times just for him to tell me he mailed it out to me. A month later nothing had been delivered to my home and he told me it came back to him even though when he brought it to my house the package had his home address on the shipping label and not mine. I have reached out to him on multiple occasions every day for two weeks straight without getting a response and when I finally hear from him I don't feel like he's always honest and there's always and excuse: "I was in Florida...", "I broke my phone screen...", "I forgot to message you...", "The company never shipped them for whatever reason so I placed the order again...". There's also a canvas photo that was supposed to be included in my order but I never got that either. I feel like it'd be another year before I got that since everything is taking so long. Keep in mind I got married 8/31/13 and today is 4/11/15 and I'm still waiting on one portrait and one canvas print. Bottom line is I think they do good work but Safet clearly needs an assistant to help keep things in order and reply to people in an honest and timely manner.

My wife and I have attempted to resolve an ongoing situation with this elementary school…read morephotographer (Photography by Felicia) to no avail. Most recently, Felicia has presented us as liars, for the second time, to the school, only to be disproven (again) and has now gone as far as to make a false claim in an email to the principle that I own a fake Facebook profile used to "disparage" her company. Being a local business owner, this latter point has crossed a line. Felicia is known to complain about everyone under the sun on Facebook and I have no doubt I've been affected. I would hire a lawyer for defamation, but it is unlikely such an offense would warrant enough money for a lawyer to get involved. This ongoing rift stems back to the beginning of the 2017 school year. Our son's 4th grade portrait and class photo prints were the color blue and visibly altered to the point of looking like goo. I have a photography background and understood the problems to be the result of an unchecked automated editing process or lack of quality control. Both are simple problems to correct. I began attempting to contact Felicia in November 2017 via email and phone to address the issues and received no reply. This continued through May 2018 and was accidentally brought to the previous principle's attention when I received an email from the school about an upcoming photo day and mistakenly replied to him rather than the photographer. I let the issue go for the summer. Fast forward to January 2019 and the PCA request for 5th grade yearbook photos. As we had not been shown our son's photo, I was concerned. Apparently you only get to see the photos if you pay in advance (this is an outdated practice). Given the fact that over a year later, the 4th grade picture issue had still not been addressed, we were not about to give any money to this company. In a heated series of emails (PCA members included) we were accused by Felicia of lying about paying for the 4th grade photos. We immediately disproved this by digging up a copy of the cashed check. By March 2019 I had had enough. Up to this point I had refrained from saying anything on social media, but now resorted to the threat of going public with our story on Facebook and other platforms. Felicia's response was to involve the principle and attempt to generate sympathy. My wife spoke briefly to him about this and was told we would finally get our photos. Success. We received the photos in May 2019. 18 months late. We moved on. Our daughter started kindergarten this year and problems have started again. We did not receive our daughter's photo despite leaving a check in the school office as requested. In an email to the new principle, Felicia again called us liars about paying and accused me, in writing, of using a fake Facebook profile to "disparaged" her. This is a baseless, defaming claim that I am very angry about. But given the number of other parents with their own horrible Felicia experiences, I am not surprised to hear it. After more angry emails, we finally received our daughters picture, but no class picture. And despite being told not to contact me twice, Felicia continues to include me in emails sent to my wife and the principle whom she has only shared a skewed version of why I am so "mean" to her. I could go on and on, but there is a problem here that is not being addressed. For 3 grades now we have been unable to share school photos with grandparents at the holidays. Our kids went without school photos on the fridge. No parents should be treated this way. School photos are supposed to bring back good memories. Not this. Why Photography by Felicia continues to be hired at Sea Cliff Elementary I do not understand. Her pattern of lies and incompetence is unacceptable and any other school would have hired a more professional company by now. The thought of having to deal with her for another 5 grades makes me nauseous.
