I've been going to the place for years, going back to when they just had a tiny suite by MSG. Amazing selection of refurbished machines if you're looking for a starter machine or something for an elderly relative that doesn't game, lol. And it's a better value than dropping off old laptops for recycling elsewhere, you at least get a small amount of cash back and some reassurance that real people are wiping/disassembling your old computer. Everyone there is pleasant to talk to & there's a nice little waiting area now that they have their own shop. read more

A Dominican gentleman helped me out. He was amazing and really nice and cool to talk to as a fellow nerd. I bought the macbook m2 that was said to have scratches and it does not so you could tell they keep there item grading to a very high standard. Amazing will come back!!! read more

Really great place to sell or purchase used electronic equipment. The staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable. The appointment system is great because you have someone working directly with you during your time slot and you won't have to wait in long lines. You'll never feel like you are getting scammed or lowballed, which is very important when you're dealing with expensive equipment. I highly recommend Computer Overhauls! read more

Wow! I only write reviews when I'm really disappointed or really impressed. These guys are no joke. I'll spare the long story about shopping for the best deal on one of those fruits out in California. My experience combo included: best price AND free shipping AND arrived in 2 days AND i could see my model online AND great packaging AND status update E-mails (assurance) AND all run by just a few guys? They take fruit seriously - Go get'em guys! read more

Bought a laptop and a iPad from them. Process was smooth and effortless. The staff and owner were helpful throughout the process and my decision making. Would definitely come back in the future read more

After writing my review about my computer not working, the staff reached out to me and really went above and beyond to make it right. To be fair, I could have made an effort to bring in my computer for a repair, but did not contact them before writing. My computer sat without turning on for 2 years before I wrote my review, far beyond the warranty, but still they went above and beyond offering to service my computer at no cost. I ended up replacing my computer with a refurbished 2020 MacBook Air and I literally squealed when I took it out of the box. It's a sexy computer and literally looks and functions like a brand new MacBook but at a fraction of the cost. Adam and the staff here really are super helpful. Shop small people. read more

Bought an iPad and Apple Pencil from them through eBay. Great value, quick shipper, and great customer service! Thank you!

I purchased an item from them and had a minor issue with a promo code and they were swift at helping me apply it even after purchasing the item after emailing them. I also had another issue with the item itself and they were quick at helping me resolve the issue and provided a great offer difficult to pass. I like that they communicated clearly and promptly, and helped me with the issue I had. Great seller! Definitely will continue to make purchases from this seller. read more

This was a wonderful experience. No one else would buy my computer bc of its faulty logic board, but CO offered me $50 cash for it! The person who assisted me was super sweet, and the entire ordeal from in the door to cash in hand only took about 20-25 minutes. The store was clean, and I felt safe, & like I was selling my computer to a secure buyer, which of course is always scary. It is definitely not a scam, to assuage your fears. When I need a new refurbished computer, I'm gonna go to them! I definitely recommend them, especially for selling your old devices- I had no idea it would be this easy. read more

Really nice place to sell/buy electronics as the process was easy and got my payment at the store. Would definitely recommend if you want to quickly sell your electronics for a high payout. Service was good as well, straight to the point. I really do like this place and I would highly encourage you to go here. If you are buying, they also do an amazing job with transparency. The device I bought look exactly as depicted in the photos and as described! 9/10 experience. read more

I am very pleased with my MacBook Air purchase. It's refurbished but in mint condition!!! Works just as well if not better than my newer version!!! I recommend!!! read more

I needed to replace an ancient (15-year old) desktop PC and needed to do so on a budget. I prefer WIN to IOS because I'm old but not so old that I don't know what to look for. Cruising 'round eBay with the specs I wanted and these guys kept popping up with some solid hardware for great prices. I ended up choosing a refurbished Lenovo with everything I wanted for about 10% less than what I was expecting to pay. Honestly can't speak to the communications with Computer Overhauls because I didn't need to communicate once I'd placed the order. They provide seamless fulfillment and delivery. Shipping was included (!) and I got my new toy within a week. It took a little effort to xfer from my old to new machines but again, 15 years worth of stuff needed to be sorted out and I'm old... Don't know when I'll need 'em again, but believe me, Computer Overhauls is on my Saved Sellers list on eBay. Thanks, guys! read more

Great experience selling a laptop and old iPhone. The guys are friendly and informative and gave me over $170 more than I was offered at Paymore. Don't waste your time anywhere else! They make it so easy to get a quote and book an appointment online. read more

Updating my review just to be an asshole to you Adam. Focus less on the specific details of my review, I had an appointment, I don't think there's a plethora of retail stores that are called "computer overhaul". Work on your customer service, and then maybe that scam you call a resell store. read more

I purchased a used Nvidia RTX3080 from this store thru ebay and I am REALLY happy! Thank you Computer Overhauls. The packaging was done very nicely and the GPU I got looks like is in mint condition, nothing beat up. I installed and powered up and everything seems to be working as it should. I like the fact that this store put a pamphlet expressing their thank you for my business and I really appreciate that. Also their interested in me writing my personal review. I am really happy and I'm so glad I chose this store to do business with as I usually never buy a lot of things from ebay and is really hard to know who you're dealing with and what type of product you will receive. I completely recommend doing business with these folks thank you so much. read more

I sold my old iMac to Computer Overhauls. Easy and fair transaction. The quote was higher than what Apple gave me and plus, I didn't have to go through the headache of shipping out a giant computer and waiting weeks. I also read some reports about how Apple's online trade-ins can be a little shady because it's done through a third party company. I'm so glad I was able to sell my computer to these guys. They are very fair and everything was prompt and convenient read more

Review after 3 months ( m1 MacBook Air ) I was sceptical before I bought my refurbished m1 air MacBook because they where selling it for 800$ while every other refurbished site was at least 850$ But to my relief it IS NOT A SCAM, the picture are not stock, they take photos of the actual device you'd receive unlike places like backmarket or GameStop refurbished. true to the photo there was to scratches on the top and the screen had some keyboard marks ( which will always happen with a MacBook over time. The only small thing I wasn't pleased with was that the cord was wrapped tightly in a rubber band which left it kinky to this day, but the chord and wall adapter is the original that would come with a new MacBook from apple. I was very happy with the shipping, it said 2 to 3 days, but I got it the day after I ordered it, that might just be cause I live less than two hours from NYC where they are located. Do your research but I'd say go for it! read more
