I had an iPhone XS Max screen that cracked a bit when it went down face first then badly by someone else on the same day (lesson learned: use a screen protector!!). Unfortunately, screen repair by Apple is $329, and I am not made of money. Found this place and the guy helped me fix it within like 15 minutes. Only had to fork over $200 cash. I never write negative reviews, but here I go I messaged the business prior to booking an appointment and the owner was very nice and prompt in answering all of my concerns. I decided to go in and get my iphone screen fixed - it took about 15-20 mins, very fast! I go home satisfied with the service and put my phone in my back pocket and a few hours later -- there are 2 huge DEEP scratches on my screen . I didn't drop it or do anything crazy with my phone either...... Also, when I try to text or click on an APP, the touch screen thinks I'm constantly pressing down which is super frustrating on my end. I messaged the owner telling him my concerns and he tells me "phones do not scratch on its own, get a screen protector" -- which I thought was a rude. I take it to the apple store and was told that the screen that they used was extremely cheap... Side note -- prior to cracking my screen I had my iphone for 2 years and it has never scratched like this before. Don't waste your time here... go somewhere else... read more

Great service. Very quick turnaround. The only thing that sucks was like 2 weeks later, hand sanitizer leaked onto my phone and completely ruined it which normally wouldn't have been the case because the iPhone X is water resistant or whatever and the amount of liquid hand sanitizer wasn't enough to kill the phone, but when I got the screen replaced here, the waterproof strip was removed and that's why my water resistant phone immediately died and had to be replaced so the $100 Or so dollars I saved ended up coming back to haunt me and I had to pay triple that to upgrade my phone with my provider. I then had to pay out the remaining portion of my phone lease since I couldn't trade it back in. Apple couldn't do anything with the poor either - it wouldn't turn on and they couldn't tell it was tampered with by someone outside of Apple. Sucks to be me lol read more

Farrukh is awesome, plain and simple tbh. My iPhone 6s+ was in pretty bad shape & most places wouldn't offer to fix it. Just stated I needed a new phone and then insert said sales pitch here_______________. Especially, 2 Apple stores. However, Farrukh came in clutch. He fixed my camera, which hasn't work in months. I was finally able to use my phone with out having to use the speaker phone option & even cured my battery issue. For a beyond reasonable price. Best part is he explain in layman terms (I stink with technology). On why & how each thing didn't work & what parts were needed. We had a small dispute, but I'm happy with how it was resolved. I would probably use iMasterFix again, provided the problems mentioned below are fixed. I came to iMasterFix with an iPhone 6s that had an old battery. iOS' battery health report said that the battery was at 81% of its original health. I wanted a new battery that would get it to 100%. After iMasterFix replaced the battery, I realized the health was only at 87% -- far less than what I had expected. I went back to the store and to talk to the owner and try to resolve the issue. After a short conversation, I asked the owner to see the batteries that were being used. Indeed, they are genuine OEM products, but they are old (manufacture date in 2015). Because of how Lithium-ion chemistry works, old batteries are not going to hold a charge as well as new ones. This seems like the probable reason why the battery was not 100% healthy. After I showed the problem to the owner, he gave me the partial refund I requested, and promised to look into the manufactory date of future batteries he would install. If you're an iPhone owner, I encourage you to check your battery health (Google for "ios 11.3 battery health" to see how) after the new battery is installed. This goes for any installer, not just iMasterFix. I can't in all honesty give a five star review, because all I wanted was a fully healthy battery, and that's not what I left with. However, I believe the mistake was honest, and the owner handled the issue professionally. I do believe that he will resolve the issue going forward. read more

Ugh my poor iPad. It wasn't your fault, you were just hanging out on the couch, minding your own business when we were home for the holidays. And then, out of nowhere someone went and knocked you on to the hardwood floor (cough *mom* cough). and just like that, your magnificent screen went and got a huge crack from top to tail. What's that, Apple wants 250$ to replace the glass on a 500$ iPad. Shocking (not really...). What were we going to do for you? Enter Farrukh. After sending out requests to multiple vendors via Yelp (awesome feature, you can send your request to multiple shops at once - if you didn't already know), Farrukh got back to me with a reasonable quote and had stellar reviews. I brought my iPad in and the next day got it back with a replacement screen. The work quality was really good, and the screen is sharp as could be (he used an iPad air 2 screen, so no wonder it looks great). if you (or a family member) breaks a screen, check these guys out. I am not sure what's that guy name in store tonight. He has bad attitude, and I doubt whether the repair material they use in this shop is legal. I broke my phone screen and would like to replace it. I asked the owner a question about whether he gets the phone screen from original producer, then he got mad and said that is his job and I should not ask. I feel it is fair to clarify this issue before I spend $120, and the possible reason for him to get mad would be he is scared to disclose his source of phone material. Btw, if you have problem with made in China, you would better never touch iphone anymore later, since some iphone parts are made in China and phones are assembled in China too. read more

I know this guy doesn't need any more 5 star reviews but I had to. My iphone 6 screen popped out at the corner. The screen wasn't cracked, camera still worked, and everything was functioning normally, it just popped out, and despite researching it profusely, I couldn't figure out how to pop it back in myself. I got quoted from 3 different places about a fix, estimating between $80-120. Apple wouldn't even give me an estimate without coming in and waiting in their line. Wow!!! What an amazing experience! I had submitted an inquiry on a website that sent it out to about 20 different vendors. Not only were they the only ones to respond, they were extremely responsive and diligent. I brought in 2 phones to fix. Via email, they quoted me a price on each one. One of them was relatively simple but the other one proved to be very difficult to fix. They spent numerous hours on it yet they honored the very low price. After fixing the screen of my iPad. A couple of days ago my husbands Note 5 was bootlooping on its own and could even get pass the welcome screen. Calling Samsung was a bust. Honestly really disappointing that I have to leave this review, because the guy here is a nice dude. But you get an option between screens: a generic cheaper version, or the "high quality" "same as apple" screen, which for some reason even costs the same price as apple. Why come to a sketchy little place if you're not even saving money and you're guaranteed authenticity for the same price AT APPLE? Anyway, my iPhone screen was cracked. I opted for his "quality" screen fix at $100. He fixed it quickly, and I left pleased with my fixed phone. 1 month later and my phone display has all sorts of issues. Certain areas don't respond to touch at all, there's a random yellow circle on the top of the screen, blue circles appear on other parts of the screen randomly, and I have to constantly clean it off, restart apps and the phone itself. Basically it's in a worse place than when it was just cracked, and I paid way too much for that. So very disappointed with this outcome, especially given the price and these reviews. I was actually in the store recently and witnessed a customer who was not happy about her screen being fixed and she seemed to me very adamant that she was inconvenienced for coming back to get her defective screen fixed. Farruk was very logical explaining to her what happened but she seemed to not get the situation and she was blaming the two weeks this was a problem. Seemed like she wasn't as inconvenienced because she was there with another phone in her hand using it. I was a bystander listening to both sides and Farruk was very logical. IMasterFix is only guy with confidence to replace battery on my HTC phone. Price is good too. Owner/tech did the work. I checked many other places, but they only want to touch popular brands -- iphone, samsung and sometimes LG. Another high star place said they did HTC, but when I went to their store, the techs wanted to upsell/bait-switch me saying opening my phone would probably require a screen replacement as well and jacked up quoted price 40. Not what I wanted to hear from pros, when I know this work is doable, just risky by an amateur, and knowing my original screen was just fine. IMasterFix had to order my battery, and it took longer than expected, but it was worth the wait. My phone should be good for another 2+ years. I'm glad I found iMasterFix. read more

About a week ago, I dropped my phone and the screen completely came off. I brought my phone here and Farrukh and Alex were able to fix it. I thought the screen was the only problem, but my camera, battery, speaker, and home button were all damaged. Farrukh and Alex fixed it for a really great price (and had an NYU student discount), and even threw in a glass screen protector and a case along with fixing it. Farrukh is really kind and intelligent, and let me charge my phone while I waited for a friend (along with having a good conversation). I didn't speak much to Alex, but he worked quickly and efficiently. Before I left, Farrukh made sure my phone was in working order and neither he nor Alex complained or charged me more for the extra repairs they ended up having to do (the speaker). I had two broken phones -- a Samsung S4 with a cracked screen and a Nexus 5X with water damage -- and they were able to repair both in short order! The S4 within 2 hours and the Nexus within a day. Since I didn't have a working phone, Farrukh emailed me as soon as the phones were ready to pick up. The prices were really reasonable -- $140 for the S4 and $110 for the Nexus.
