I use this Staples to return Amazon items. They are quick and unlike UPS franchises, they don't charge for a piece of tape ! If you need school supplies , the supplies here are usually a last longer and are not so cheaply made. They sell gift cards too - great if you need to grab one on the way to a party. The staff is really friendly too . Parking A+ .

Store #1602 is closing July 10, 2026!…read more I came here with the intent of obtaining printer cartridge. The building is a civil engineering and design oddity where the front faces a neighboring building located in the middle of a block and the backside faces customers who are coming from the MTA NYC Transit subway which can be easily missed. Low and behold the entrance facade affixed the store's closing signage was already a concern. This Staples location is a permanent closing. The male sales associate at the customer counter was nonchalant with head down and eyes glued to his cell phone rather than servicing customers. This same male associate's rebarbative behavior is one reason for my non-return visit. Why do you not put down your phone and service customers? Ergophobia? This store's lack of stock is very, very discouraging as the main reason is their impending store closing. This location is not a large as other Staples, but there is a small parking lot and accessible via MTA NYC Transit N and W train at Astoria Boulevard on Grand Central Parkway. As usual, no associate approached me if I needed assistance. This location carries high yield printer ink cartridge as available in stock at $51.16 which I have asked to search thoroughly, but the regular non-high yield was unavailable. I was unable to locate this product in my online search to price match since high yield ink cartridge is not a common product, therefore, absorbed the full price $51.16. Oh! I have travelled the long-haul trek from southwestern Queens via Manhattan to western Queens, Astoria and was in utter disbelief for the minimal products in stock of their inventory. I remember the 1990s era and early 2000s era where Staples were abundant and had heavy brick and mortar presence when paper and office supplies physically existed. This company had the budget to heavily advertise on TV and radio for many the Back-to-School seasons. In my youth of school days I would purchase two-pocket folders, notebooks (including spiral, black and white marble), journals, and pencils. In my adulthood of recent years, I would purchase copier paper, badge ID holder, printer ink cartridge, and sometimes pen refills, journals. Forward. In year 2026 this store #1602 is, unfortunately, becoming another victim causality of progress or evolution of digitalized/paperless. Total disappointment.

Right after that someone asked me if I needed. I said no thank you. I went to the line (I was next) the girl who was there was super friendly. She got my item in the matter of a second & I was out. Was wished a good night by her & the same dude at the entrance/exit. Overall a wonderful experience! Two thumbs up.

I usually go to the Rego Park location,…read morebut the Lenovo Yoga 9i Copilot 2025 laptop was only available here in limited quantity, so I had no choice but to pick it up at this store. The cashier (an Asian lady) was incredibly pushy and made the whole experience miserable. I repeatedly said no to the insurance, yet she kept pressuring me, lecturing that because it's a $2000 laptop with Copilot it would break, and trying to convince me with discounts and scare tactics. I don't need someone telling me how I'm going to use my own laptop. Then, to top it off, when I asked for a bag, she said they didn't have any. So here I am, a small woman, forced to carry a heavy laptop box through the street while she loudly announces the $2000 price tag for everyone to hear. Absolutely ridiculous and humiliating. No wonder the store was practically empty. Even another customer gave me a strange look during the whole exchange. This was by far the worst shopping experience I've ever had at Best Buy, and I will never step foot in this location again. Best buy needs to look at customer service otherwise we just need to buy online somewhere else!

My device sat for over a month with zero proactive communication. Not a single call, text, or update. I had to come in multiple times just to ask what was going on, and even then, no one could give me a clear or consistent answer. One employee was completely incapable of providing any status at all. The lack of accountability and basic customer service is shocking.

AVOID iFixScreens if you have a Macbook!…read more My Macbook Pro 2020 M1's screen was broken because I dropped my airpods case on it. I brought it to iFixScreens, and they informed me that they will special order the screen to fix it. They quoted me $400. Apple quoted me $600 so to save money, I opted for iFixScreens. This was the biggest mistake I have ever made, and had cost me $1000 in loss to repair. Not only did the repair take over a month (because they had ordered the wrong part), after fixing the screen I noticed the following problems: (1) my camera no longer worked; (2) the hinge of my Macbook was loose so when I use it, any movement of the screen will cause it to fall and snap down; (3) there are light LED streaks on the bottom of the screen. (1) The first problem was the webcam camera no longer connecting. I went back the next day, and the guy said that it was not his fault that the webcam does not work. Meanwhile the webcam used to work prior to the repair. I asked if he could fix it, and he said no, it would require me to spend more money to order the part so they could repair it. I spoke to an Apple Genius employee and he told me that the webcam and the screen are two different components, and that the reason it does not connect is because the iFixScreens repairmen did not adequately and carefully install the screen, which led to the broken camera. iFixScreens told me to buy an external webcam to fix my problem. I am a college student, and having an webcam is important, and carrying a bulky external webcam is out of the question. iFixScreens ruined my webcam and wanted to charge me more to fix it. (2) The hinge is extremely loose and it falls when I use it or move it around. I went back to iFixScreens and they said that is how MacBooks are, and they blamed my Macbook cover for adding weight which closes the screen. iFixScreens does not blame themselves for their problems, they blame you. Obviously my Macbook hinge was sturdy when I purchased it, and I even used it with a cover and had no problem prior to the "iFixScreens repair." (3) A few months later I went to them because I saw light LED screaks coming from my screen. Again, the representative did not take blame for their faulty repair. I told them I was covered under their warranty of 180 days. They told me because the MacBook screen is a "special order," it does not have 180 day warranty. It only has a 30 day warranty. This was NOT explained to me when I first came to them. The representative misrepresented the store's warranty policy by explaining to me that we have 180 days, even with knowledge that the order is a special order, he continued to say we have 180 days of warranty. Long story short, I had to go to Apple and drop $650 to fix the screen and the camera. Going forward I will go to Apple for any Macbook related problems, and avoid this place. In fact, I was so traumatized by this unprofessional and fraudulent place that I will avoid all 3rd party repair shops. I genuinely believe the screen they installed was not genuine because the hinge was loose and the LED lights were streaking. The repairmen are unskilled since they broke my webcam while fixing the screen. If I could give a 0/10 I would. If you come here to repair your MacBook Screen PLEASE AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!! UPDATE: Went to the Apple store and the genius bar tech checked out the laptop. He ran a full analysis and found that the screen that iFixScreens installed was NOT COMPATIBLE to my macbook. That is why after installation, the camera stopped working. iFixScreens guarenteed that it was a genuine product but that was another lie. I attached pictures of the screen analysis below for proof.

The problem I have is that the company refuses to stand behind its products. I bought one of the translators and it was apparently defective in design or manufacture as the housing around the display cracked within a few uses. Was a result of that crack, the device kept cutting out and rebooting, rendering it effectively unusable. I contacted the company and they basically told me to pound sand. The only thing they would do is sell me another one. They did offer me a $100 discount on a new one, but they also put it on sale for almost the same price they offered it to me with the discount. Bottom line, was that to have a working product, I would have to buy two and hope the second one did not fail as the first one did, since there is no likelihood that the company will stand behind its products. I emailed several times and got no response. They only way I could get a response was by calling them. I have been buying electronics on line for many years. This is the first time I have had a problem that the company would not stand behind. As a result, I cannot recommend that you use this company or its products. In my opinion, a company that won't stand behind its work does not deserve to get customers. If you choose to buy from them, CAVEAT EMPTOR!!! (buyer beware). Please note the address listed is the company headquarters as shown on the website. They apparently have a retail store at that location as well. I did not visit the retail store, I dealt with them on line and over the phone.
