As the thoughts & memories of yesterday's delicious meal at Flora Westhampton run thru my mind, I ask myself where do I begin.......My journey into Flora 'fabulousness' began the moment I spoke with Michaela 2 weeks ago to secure a brunch reservation for my bff Abel's birthday celebration!!! Her warmth,professionalism & guidance made the time & effort that I put into making sure Abel's celebration all the more special & fun!!! The graciousness, kindness, 'love' & generosity shown to us by Sophia, the 'hostess with the mostest', Will, Flora's 'bartender extraordinaire' and by the sweet & joyful Ruby truly touched my heart & will always be remembered by me as the icing on the top of the delicious carrot cake in making the day even more special!!! We were totally 'obsessed' with the truffle mushroom arancini, chorizo corn chowder soup, shrimp sherry, flora burger and the French Dip that we all soooo thoroughly enjoyed!! And the Flower Pot dessert & carrot cake were perfection!! The setting is STUNNING, the Fortessa glassware is BEAUTIFUL and the entire staff is WONDERFUL!!! I have always believed that spending time with family & close friends is the most important gift we can ever receive & I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to have spent time with my 'family' Abel & Alex & my new 'cherished friends', Sophia, Will & Ruby & the entire staff at the glorious Flora Westhampton Beach!! First let me start by saying this is probably one of the nicest decorative places I have been in a long time. The service, atmosphere and food were all delicious. I had the burrata with the jam ( not generally ever eat jam normally) but this hit it out of the park. It was on some delicious bread as well. Others had burrata and salads too and we all enjoyed our apps. Entrees were delicious we had steaks, burgers and fries all delicious as well. Definitely planning on coming back when visiting again. The food, beautiful inside decor, and staff made it an extremely enjoyable night. read more

This is a place that you have to add to your itinerary if coming to the hamptons. We stopped on our way to Montauk and we were glad we did. It is your ideal lunch spot with good ambiance, service, and food. We came on a wednesday afternoon and it was packed. After speaking with the manager it seems like the owners also have some other places in the Hamptons area including Cowfish and Rumba which I plan to check out. They do have a full bar if you are looking to drink but it was only a wednesday lunch so didn't try anything. My wife tried the japanese tea and said it was very good. We started with the salmon appetizer. It is sort of like salmon lox but not served sliced. It is a big chunk of salmon with a side of remoulade and crackers. The salmon was not fishy at all and it was perfectly flaky. I liked it and it was a nice snack before the meal. I shouldn't call it a snack though because the portion was pretty big. I also tried the red pepper bisque and it was so good. It isn't loaded with cream and other fillers just pure red pepper flavor. The soup was also smooth and velvety. So good. For lunch I tried the french dip and it was spot on. They use the prime rib and serve it with a au ju from the meat drippings. The kicker is the horseradish sauce they serve on the side. Get extra it is so good. The fries were also thin and addicting. I loved the meal. My wife had the endive salad and liked it as well. It is a massive portion fyi. Come check this place out. It is a gem and the 4.5 star rating is spot on. I have it at 5 stars and I will be back if I am ever in the area. read more

We had an amazing date night there tonight. Our server was Jill. She explain to us the specials. She took a drink of water and then gave us time to pick up our dinner. My husband ordered the soup special and the cod special they were both so amazing. I ordered the tuna tartare and the chicken. I also tried two of their drink specials the up beet & the lavender fizz. Both drinks were delicious. And very beautifully served. We will be back. I don't even know where to begin. I never make reviews about restaurants but in the rare occasion I do it Eithier has to be the worst restaurant I've ever tried, or the most life changing food I've ever had. Coming to the Hamptons the food is rarely ever good, mediocre at best comparing to the food in manhattan. This restaurant changed my opinion on all of that. Flora is the absolute best restaurant in the Hamptons no doubt. The service is excellent and the food is incredible The choice of appetizers is delicious. I've gotten every item and will definitely get it again. The lobster fondue and smoked salmon were some of the best appetizers I've ever had. The bread is warm and super delightfully crisp while still being incredibly soft and airy. (Every visit is a bit different and some days the bread is hard but still incredible) I bring family and friends to this place all the time and I haven't heard one criticism about this place yet. If you are ever in the area dont hesitate to try this place out. 10/10 recommend. read more

A real five star brunch experience. The decor is gorgeous, and the service was exemplary. They had a unique system where all the servers flowed through the restaurant and helped all tables, made drinks, etc. I'd never seen something like that but it worked so flawlessly I wonder why more don't do it, and the servers were extremely kind and courteous. It was clear the owners focused on every detail of the business, from the coffee service which came with beautiful mugs and a French Press, to the drink garnishes, even to the little clipboard the bill came with, everything was really well thought out and tasteful. Of course I wouldn't leave a great review if the food also wasn't excellent - food and drink rose to this bar of quality across our whole table. If we're in the area again we'll be sure to return. read more

I wanted to take a good friend to lunch at Fauna, but it was only open for dinner until next week. I settled on Flora since it's owned by the same husband and wife team. I had the burger. It was perfectly cooked and the toppings were outstanding. Havarti cheese, pickled onions, black garlic aioli, truffled arugula and Campari tomatoes. It's the first time in my life I've eaten a burger without ketchup. The fries were hand cut and delicious. All for $18. My friend, who is a picky eater, had the fried chicken sandwich. She loved it. Also $18. We splurged and ordered desert. Homemade carrot cake-very moist and flavorful, and the flowerpot, a chocolate confection that was superb. I'll return to try the pickled eggs and the Pink Peppercorn Chicken. We ate outside. The day was beautiful and the waitstaff was mostly attentive. read more

Fabulous food that's the main thing you need to know. We were visiting from California and I think this is the best if not one of the best restaurants in West Hampton to try, but make a reservation. Cute little place with good service. We made a reservation and they made us wait almost 30 minutes because the guy at the table was talking to women at the table next to him and wouldn't leave, but they gave us the flowerpot free so that was nice. Our first visit and we were impressed!!! The restaurant is small but nicely laid out & decorated. Everything was very clean. Only one restroom but the wait wasn't too bad. The service was very friendly but a bit uneven. Once we got our drinks & food, our server didn't return to see how our food was or if we wanted another drink. We had a different server strangely for coffee & dessert. Our food was very good. We loved the red pepper bisque & the charred Brussels sprouts. We had the salmon & the potato hash for our mains & both were very good. My only gripe was that my salmon arrived without lemon wedges which it needed & I had to ask for. We had dinner here a few nights ago. The decor is very nice. We were.seated quickly, ordered drinks and an appetizer. The drinks were nice, a little watered down, but tasted good. The appetizer was the burrata, very yummy, great to share. Then our entrees. I had the salmon, my husband the Asian noodles. My salmon was cooked nicely and the zucchini was done.very creatively. The Asian noodles were really waterly, the flavor was lost in the bottom of the bowl. We got the flower pot dessert, which was just layered ingredients. Good, but nothing amazing. I hate to give a 3 star rating when I would have loved to give 4, but I cannot get past my food experience here. Firstly, I'd like to express that it is a charming restaurant that has been lovingly updated from it's previous existence. My two teenagers and my partner were all served delicious meals. My son had the Steak Hash entree, which he devoured with quite some certainty. Raves. My daughter ordered the Avocado Toast which is hidden amongst arugula in the most fabulous way. My partner ordered the chicken sandwich, which I tried. It was crispy and the ingredients fresh, but the flavor combinations are not my cup of tea, hence why it was not my order. What I did order was Latkes and Lox. And the 3 star rating is because of this. The lox is cooked. Cooked lox for breakfast/brunch. The menu does not state that the lox is cooked. It actually only says lox and it says house cured salmon. None of this is synonymous with cooked. When questioned, the server said that both smoked salmon dishes on the menu are cooked because it is smoked in house and the smoking is what cooks it. Salmon is typically cold smoked. And it seems to me that the fact that the lox is cooked should be mentioned on the menu. Cooked salmon is an entirely different dish. In fact, the server said that there are many comments and complaints about the salmon being cooked, but she didn't seem to see the correlation between the menu not mentioning it and unhappy customers. In closing, I would recommend this restaurant but would not recommend the Latkes and Lox unless you like it cooked. I took mine in a ToGo bag because my dog has less discriminating taste about salmon. read more

Flora was a delicious experience. The interior decor is gorgeous, and the chairs are very comfortable. The edamame hummus is absolutely perfect; I would say this is a must have. The buttermilk reduction of the scallop entree was fantastic, and the French Dip sandwich was very good. Only four stars because there seemed to be no air conditioning when we went, and it was a very hot day. We also had to flag down the servers for new waters, and the water was not cold and had no ice. As a whole, the Flora has a very nice ambience and lives up to the hype! I would recommend making a reservation, you won't want to miss an evening here. read more

Beautiful setting, great service and terrific food all added up to a nice time at Flora. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary sitting at the bar and having an early dinner. We had reservations (I recommend even for a Wednesday night) and the bartender took our orders. It was crowded and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. We had kale salad, shrimp risotto and tuna special with a slice of carrot cake at end. All excellent. Prices are high, but not any higher than other Hampton restaurants. Highly recommend! read more

Wow. Blown away by this place that I just so happened to come across on the way back from the beach. Our bartender Anna was amazing and so personable and knowledgeable about everything. You can see everything we had from the pictures below (minus the edamame hummus and tuna tartar--sorry, it was so delicious it didn't stand a chance for a picture). Friends talked this restaurant up to us. As it turned out, it was with good reason. This is one of the best meals that I have had in a restaurant in the recent past. The outdoor space was very nice. The interior of the restaurant was cozy and charming. The waitstaff were uniformly excellent. They were attentive and nice. When I went indoors, I saw a sign over one of the waitstaff stations that read something like "good service means not having to ask for anything." That hit the nail on the head. The cocktails were excellent. I was blown away by the food. The chef's palate is impeccable. We shared the burrata and hummus appetizers. They had unique flavor profiles. My friend raved about the scallops and he was right. They were cooked perfectly with an amazing, unique combination of ingredients and spices. It was the kind of dish where you would take a bite and then think about the different flavors working their way through your taste buds. My wife had the soba noodles with chicken. Again, the seasoning made this taste totally different from the way you would expect it to. We split the flower pot for dessert.
