Great neighborhood place. Love parking in the back. Food is do good. the curry bowl is vegetarian but do good. The lobster salad was yum, smashed burger always yummy. You order the food at the counter n then the server will bring the food to yr table. I love the wallpapers around the place.

Home of my favorite smash burger! This place is a must stop whenever the family heads out East. I've been hesitant to leave a review because WE LOVE IT, & didn't want to share a secret little gem. Great service, efficient staff. Family owned. Adorable inside, small with only 1-2 tables that can accommodate larger parties. Outside has great seating (weather permitting.) Covered picnic benches on side (great for families with kids) & seating on porch as well. Huge parking lot out back & street parking out front. Usually the lot is packed especially during the busier seasons, (i.e. pumpkin picking, summer festivals, weekends.)

Barrow is one of my favorite restaurants!! Davie, the bartender is a true "mixologist" I only put quotes because that is the proper term nowadays. He truly is the greatest! He can make any drink and he always has the best recommendations. As far as the food goes, chef's kiss! You can never go wrong with their soups & and the roast beef sandwich is phenomenal! Right now they have a pork schnitzel on special and you should get it before it's gone! The homemade chocolate chip cookies take the cake! Don't miss this!! Adding a picture of the duck wings because they're also amazing!!!

Little place with BIG flavor!! Definitely a gem of a spot. The smash burgers are bigger than expected. The star of the show were the duck wings. I'm a wing guy though. The double smash I gotta say is hard to beat.

I've been to Barrow a number of times before and just cannot stay away. Everything is always great. The service, the food, and now they have extended their parking lot since the last time I was there which makes it so much easier to visit! When the outdoor seating is full we will typically sit at the bar. Sitting at the bar gives you a server as well as a great view of the kitchen and everything happening. If you try nothing else on your visit, get the Duck Wings, you will not be disappointed! Don't forget to check the wall, they have specials on the wall that are very different than most places.

First time here and it was excellent. My burger was juicy and delicious. Fries were super skinny, the way I like them. This restaurant has a bar in the center and you order your food at the bar. They then come out and bring you your food. I would absolutely come back again and highly recommend. I imagine it gets pretty crowded because the food is so delicious. I'm torn if the next time I come, I should have the chicken sandwich because that looked really good too but I wanted to first try the burger, and it did not disappoint at all. It's nicely decorated, and even though the bar is in the center, it is a lovely restaurant with very tasty food.

We were looking for a decent place to eat in the vicinity of the Long Island Aquarium and this place was one of the higher rated just a few mikes away. It's a quaint converted house with a really nice ambiance and awesome menu along with stuff for the kids. Food was great, service was good. There's partial table service, you order at the cash register and they bring it to you. It's a little pricey, so be prepared. In my opinion, totally worth the price.

Stumbled upon this place and it was amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place. Sat at the bar and watched the kitchen and bartenders knock out high volume orders without breaking a sweat. All the food was unique and amazing and the cocktails were on point! Ambiance is great and gives off more of a local vibe vs touristy.

Here's a fun game: what's the best sandwich at BFH? Answer: the one you just ate. The chicken sandwich is the best I've ever had. So is the Pork Hoagie, The Roast Beef, the chicken salad and the smashburger. I have taken to closing my eyes and pointing at the menu because I just can't choose.

The cheeseburger, fries and unsweetened tea was nothing to write home about. Definitely not worth the $33.00 dollars I spent.

I recommend the charred caesar salad. It was delicious and definitely shareable for two. The fish tacos were also fantastic. And there's a nice mix of seafood and non-seafood dishes on the menu. I haven't even gotten to the setting. Little Fish is very close to the Long Island Sound, near Kenny's beach, so there are some nice views at some tables. I note that we were there last for dinner in early May, so no outside seating yet. That will be an added feature. I would also consider stopping in here for a cocktail at the bar. Okay, so run to this place... I ate there last night, so it's okay for you to go tonight.

But that is not why I am willing to drive long distances to play the wonderful game of Golf. It's because I enjoy playing on a golf course that are difficult to get on unless you're a member. And if a family or friend invites to you to play, I never say no. The Vineyards Golf Course is a beautifully designed course that easily blends in with its surroundings. The course has three set of tee boxes which we chose to play the back tees of course. Why??, well because the young men I was playing with can drive ball 300 yards plus and sometimes on the fairway. It sure did not help my game when I attempted to drive the ball the distances they seem capable. I found the Vineyards golf course challenging with its rolling fairways, protected by large meandering sand bunkers, false fronts and hazards. We had a windy day that played in our favor on some holes and others which easily challenged us. The par-3 holes were a variety in length, direction and difficulty. The secondary roughs had fescue grasses and in some cases we were lined up along a corn field farm. Vineyards was much more challenging than I anticipated, but I very much enjoyed the course and would love to play there again before the season ends.

Unlike the restaurant that was here prior, the menu is not centered around fried food options, though they do have some if you need a fix. Calamari was a bit more breading than squid then i'd like but it was tasty and not soggy. if you are looking for the fried stuff, the Po-boy with fries was a hit! Prices are a bit steep though as an $11 salad quickly becomes a $30 one if you add a protein. Kids menu available upon request (though not published) and includes a hamburger, fried flounder, butter noodles and chicken fingers. Though the staff was super friendly and helpful, there were definitely long gaps where we expected to see someone more often, especially when it came to getting the check. It was early on a Saturday, 5:30 because we wanted to hang out for a while before the show, so there weren't many people there at that time. They had a lot of regulars who show up and sing and it was a lot of fun. The entire atmosphere was energetic and everyone was having a great time. The food at the bar was good, but could really have been better. The tacos were good, but my friend and I had the fluke fish and chips, but it tasted more like cod. Maybe because of the breading? The drinks were also okay, the margarita's could have been stronger and tasted mostly like juice. We switched to white wine, and that was pretty good.
