    Nice view
    Allissa A.

Love the spot! We came at the right time so not too much crowd.. so there was some kinda "social distancing"...food is good my husband got the chili lime shrimp.. I got salad which seems to be all romaine with a piece of sliced strawberry, 2 cherry tomatoes sliced and 2 pieces of sliced cucumber. Hope next time they can at least add some more cucumbers and tomatoes so it's NOT just all romaine. we like that it has a fast food feel where u choose where to sit and go to the bar to order and pay and just wait for your order to arrive that's going to be brought to your table.. the view is awesome so come on a nice sunny day.. uses disposable plates and utensils but A little pricey.

Spread along and around the docks of the Marina behind the Hyatt hotel. Part Tiki bar part like dining on a beach. They are only open in the summer since the dining is all outdoors no indoor dining. Fire pits and heaters make it very comfortable and even more tropical. Leisurely dining due to the the distances involved around the restaurant, bar and our order is filled from a kitchen on the side of the marina. Not a complaint very happy to sit there with a promptly filled drink an just absorb and enjoy the view. Varied menu With choices from the land the sea and burgers. We had the Ahi Tuna, shrimp tacos, scallops and fresh oysters and clams for starters. Smiling faces all around. Put this on your list for next summer.

Food was great here. We came to try a groupon. I got the short rib sandwich. There was a musician playing. A beautiful unique outdoor bar. We definitely will be back.

Was at the aquarium on a Wednesday and wandered into this Small bar with a nice happy hour, good food and very good service.... When you exit the aquarium through the gift shop you end up in this cute little outdoor bar which is also connected to the a hotel. The buffalo wings were delicious...fried hard and seasoned well. If you are out in Riverhead definitely worth the stop. Also had the strawberry salad with shrimps very good. The house chardonnay was very nice. Keep up the good work.

I really like this place! You can only go there if the weather is good (it's all outdoors). The staff is great and prices reasonable. It is on the water next to the Long Island aquarium. They had a great musical duo called 2 EZ who kept the dance floor packed. Always a good time!

Very good food and the service was rite on point!! I would recommend this establishment to even the closest of friends, not to mention that the view is pretty nice aswell and they have live music from fri-sun. to boot...

Nice atmosphere and vibe when they have live music. Stick to Mexican fare for food and beer or bottled / canned drinks.

We jumped over to the bar right beside and drank some girly drinks before getting the notification our table was ready. As with nearly every establishment in NYC, it is very close quarters in paradise lost. We stood at a table while waiting for seats at the bar to become available. Which, we didn't mind. I could see how this might be a little harder to get a seat for a bigger group if you aren't there before 6. It seemed that once a group got a big table, they camped out. The drinks were strong and creative. Friendly bartenders, good music, and yummy options for bar snacks. Also, the bathroom is a nice touch. Given the hell theming for the bar, the bathroom is a 180 and while using the Lou, you can listen to the bible being recited. Theres also a spooky surprise if you press the button in the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, it is at the bottom of some decently narrow stairs. So, try and stay sober enough for stairs or you may fall. Go to this bar. You will have fun.

We wanted to have after-dinner cocktails in a chill space, so we searched on our phones & saw Paradise Lost address via Google. We proceeded to walk down & was unable to find the establishment due to their being no front sign. After walking back & forth a few times, we saw another group walking towards the door & they confirmed the place. We walked inside the front door pressed a "doorbell" & lo & behold we gained entry after the previous group went inside. Definitely an incognito entrance. Once inside that door there is someone to greet you, & take your information. There is a forest/ grass/ jungle-looking foyer/ hallway we walked down to get to the next door. Before we knew it, we were near the "Paradise Lost No Vacancy" neon sign w/ an arrow pointing towards the snake-shaped knob door. It gets opened & a supercool speakeasy awaits.... Paradise Lost has mixed style table / seating arrangements throughout the place. A bar seating section, booth-style seating area, lounge- style seating area, etc. We got there a little after 7pm, so the afterwork crowd was in full swing. Paradise Lost has interesting atmosphere. At times a Gothic / Medieval Vibe, meets place w/ shipwreck decor, meets eleganct /club vibe w/ beautiful ceiling lighting, etc. Music played in the background. Staff are friendly, energetic, & attentive. We were pleasantly overwhelmed w/ the vast selection of tiki cocktails that were on the menu. Paradise Lost also have an intimate selection of snacks/ food menu items. This included Popcorn, Tater Tots, Devilled Eggs Rangoon Dip, etc. We ordered some cocktails served in unique tiki mugs & a bucket of popcorn to munch on w/ our drinks. The popcorn is flavored w/ Sea Buckthorn & Browm Butter, which gave it an special flavor profile. Our cocktails were well-prepared & nice & strong. Paradise Lost has individual unisex bathroom stalls & a communal vanity & sink area. The bathroom stalls have spooky voices coming from a speaker as you use the bathroom. I was so humorously taken aback, it had me laughing when I came out...Definitely a different thing to experience in the bathroom - lol. Before we left we watched one of the bartenders do a cocktail "fire" presentation for some patrons in a booth seated area. Wow.... Paradise Lost accepts walk-ins only, no reservations. Paradise Lost accepts groups of 8 or less, unless you are requesting to book the space for a private event. Ages 21+ paradiselost.nyc @paradiselostnyc Paradise Lost is open everyday - 5pm-2am.

Don't let the outside of this place fool you because looks are definitely deceiving. We were cautious coming to this place due to the appearance of the outside, but once we were in it was so much fun. Agus, aka rawbartender, was Ah-mazing and truly made the night fun. He was truly such a vibe!! I ordered the SpongeBob, which was Goslings rum, pineapple spice, ginger, lime, angostura bitters. Especially with the show that was put on, my drink tasted even better. It was a Smokey, yet smooth and refreshing drink! We also got the Snow White, on the sweeter side made with Pear vodka, orgeat, pear juice, lemon juice, cinnamon. And of course, we can't forget our schooling in tequila and Mezcal from Agus. He was very informative of what he was serving and we tried a few different shots. He gave us the rundown of how you're actually supposed to taste tequila. And I have to say I've never had an experience like that before. I wish the party didn't stop and I will definitely be coming back specifically for Agus and of course the drinks!

But that is not why I am willing to drive long distances to play the wonderful game of Golf. It's because I enjoy playing on a golf course that are difficult to get on unless you're a member. And if a family or friend invites to you to play, I never say no. The Vineyards Golf Course is a beautifully designed course that easily blends in with its surroundings. The course has three set of tee boxes which we chose to play the back tees of course. Why??, well because the young men I was playing with can drive ball 300 yards plus and sometimes on the fairway. It sure did not help my game when I attempted to drive the ball the distances they seem capable. I found the Vineyards golf course challenging with its rolling fairways, protected by large meandering sand bunkers, false fronts and hazards. We had a windy day that played in our favor on some holes and others which easily challenged us. The par-3 holes were a variety in length, direction and difficulty. The secondary roughs had fescue grasses and in some cases we were lined up along a corn field farm. Vineyards was much more challenging than I anticipated, but I very much enjoyed the course and would love to play there again before the season ends.
