We took our Prius for a major body repair to this location. They fixed the damaged areas and even were kind enough to drive the car to a friend's house for us to pick up later. When we took a car back we realized that the driver window is not working right and makes a noise going up and down. We called them multiple times and they said the owner will call back and the reason the window does not work right is that they used a used door and had noticed the problem too. I asked why they did not do anything about that and why they installed a defective door? They said the owner will call you back to explain. He never did. We followed up again and he did not return our call. I would have given them 5 stars had they fixed the door. But they don't seem to care. They said their work has one year warranty, but they are not honoring it. Very disappointed in their workmanship and customer service. read more

First and foremost, I wanted to start this off by saying that 90% of the companies who exist in this category of service are more interested in ripping you off than taking care of the problem. It's more about getting the fees and getting rid of you asap than listening and then evaluating what would be the best plan of attack to get things done. So, for my wife and I to use Fix-Auto, a company which is 45 miles away from where we live, they must be "All That," and then some. My wife had a bit of mental trauma with her new Jaguar F-Pace about 2 weeks into the "Honeymoon Phase," of ownership when she kissed another car with her bumper. Needless to say, she and I were less than happy since the process after something like this usually is a horror show. Thankfully, Aaron and Jennifer who are the owners made the process completely painless. They defined the problem over the phone and after reviewing pictures that we sent, they came up with a quote that was more or less awesome. They worked with my wife to get the car out there and have it back in an expedited time frame which for a working person is part of the grief. No problems there at all. People need to understand just how much of a psychological process this is in order to appreciate how a company can wreck the experience or make it less stressful depending on their bedside manner and their pricing structure. I also wanted to make a point that they use a Text Info System that updates you on your car status. If anyone has ever played the phone game trying to get updates on things, they will appreciate this. It makes other places look like they are using paper airplanes to send messages. I would 100% recommend Fix-Auto unless you live somewhere like Florida since getting it out to Redlands would be a problem. My beloved Tesla Model S was squished while parked by a large truck. I heard all sorts of horror stories about how hard it would be to get parts and good repair service on a Tesla. I headed to Tesla's website to find a certified repair shop, I was pleasantly surprised to find a place with great reviews so close to home. The car was towed there on the weekend and I was promptly contacted before they even opened on Monday morning. Aaron called me and shared the estimate, repair plan, and estimated completion date. He kept me informed the entire time and completed my repair job 4 days early. My car is so shiny, you cannot even tell it had to endure a repair. It drives like it did when I bought it. Last fall our Tesla model 3 was rear ended. The guy that hit the car acknowledged fault. His insurance, AllState did an adjustment right away and recommended that we take our car to Fix Auto in Redlands. Fix Auto gave us an appointment for 11/8/22. We took the car in on 11/8/22. We were told that they would call when the car was ready. We didn't hear from them after after a few weeks so we called them to check status. We were told that they were waiting for parts. AllState limited our rental to 30 days so we asked if we could get the car back since it was still drivable. Fix said we would be notified when the parts came in. We called fix to check status of the parts 12/19/22. They said the parts were not in. I called again January 16, 2023 and ask for an expected time of delivery for the parts. Ralph said he would contact Tesla and call me back. Ralph did not call back by March 2023 so I called again. I was told by Britney that there were no parts needed so I scheduled an appointment to get the car repair for April 3. I took the car back to fix on April 3, 2023. I was then told again, that parts were needed and call back in a couple of days to get an anticipated date for work completion. After a number of calls I was told on 4/11/23 that the repair was complete. Ralph said he needed to submit a supplemental to AllState and I should be able to pick up the car on 4/12/23. We received a text message 4/12/23 saying the car was ready for pick up. My daughter took my husband to up the car that afternoon. When they arrived they were told that Allstate didn't approve the supplemental and they would give us our car back. This went on for days. We contacted AllState. I talked with Lacey the Mgr and they continued to hold our car for ransom. Finally on April 17th the hostage was released. Fix auto is not a very professional business from my perspective. They do not return calls or do any follow up and they take way too long to complete the work (it took more than 5 months) The worst part was being stressed out terribly when they held our car hostage after the work was finally done. As a Tesla owner, we are petty much FORCED to take our vehicle to a Tesla service center. However, there is no good service in those centers. Last year I had an issue with my car but did not want to use Tesla, I needed a new place. luckily I found Fix it in Redlands. I was hesitant because of the distance, I am about 75 miles away. I took it, and they took care of the issue. Last week I had a different issue with my car, I drove the 75 miles and met with Diana. They took the car and fixed the issue within an hour. Great service, very much worth the drive. Very honest. I am mentioning them on the Tesla forums for all other tesla owners. And yes, they are Tesla certified. But even if you are not a tesla owner, I highly recommend them. Just ask for Diana, although I am sure all the other service advisors will treat you well. read more

Update: tried to have them fix their work of bad color matching, and they say it is not their job to match it to the rest of the car. What I'm irritated at, is that they did not even try to color match, and them tell me the paint they used is the original paint without proper blending. Wasted my money and time on these losers. I brought my car for a repaint after I messed the paint on 2 door panels and the front fender. When I came back 3 days after, I noticed some residue left on the opposite side of the car where they shouldn't have had any work done. Residue wasn't there before I dropped it off, and estimator said it wasn't them either. (Must be a ghost then). Estimator said it was something in the paint that needs extensive work, based on his 40+ years of experience. I asked to bring it to the back and buff it out, and it came off. Paint did not match perfectly, and it wasn't blended either so at certain angles you can see the difference in shade of silver, between two different panels. Original paint was more metallic, their paint was more flat/had less metallic specks. The back fender was also painted, despite being told that was not part of the estimate. I believe it was their attempt to make the color uniform on one side. I believe it could have been possible to blend the paint to the fenders. Estimator told me they're a Tesla approved body shop. They also told me previous body shop that painted my car had overspray, and paint runs. The back fender that this shop (Fix Auto) did, had evident paint runs too, including a mistake in masking off my taillight. So I guess they can fix Teslas but not Kias. My bumper which has a screw that fastens the edges, was slightly broken, but was enough to keep the bumper stable before taking it to the shop. After getting it back, it was completely broken. Overall, I liked the completion date and updates the gave me. I partially like the paintwork they did. It was smooth, but there was a chip in the paint on a part that wasn't damaged before painting. On top of that I find other scratches, residues, and broken part. read more

I discovered Fix Auto when my car was damaged at a local carwash. The Carwash took full responsibility and recommended "Fix Auto" to me. My contact, Alex, was fantastic on the phone, but I was concerned when I got my car there because it was a big shop. My experience with big shops is that they try to find ways to "bend you over," by overcharging. This is not at all the case here. I could immediately tell that everyone on the staff enjoyed working there and you could just sense a good company culture. Alex was among the first to greet me when I got there and he took care of me from start to finish. He even attempted to do some things that were above and beyond the scope of work (however, the issue turned out to be electrical and it went beyond the purvue of what they could do). From the day I took it in for an initial assessment to the day I picked up, was three days. Exactly what he said it would be. Because of the most excellent service I got, I plan to take it in after the first of the year to get some minor dings taken care of. I cannot recommend these guys enough. read more

AVOID THIS SHOP. I took my Tesla into this shop for a minor fender accident but the car was totally drivable. I left the car there awaiting an insurance adjusters evaluation and estimate. I was contacted by my insurance company (Mercury) stating that they have been negotiating with Fix Auto about their labor rates but Fix Auto Redlands was not willing to budge. Understandably, insurance companies don't want to pay top rates but Fix Auto was charging almost double the rate they were willing to pay. I was offered to either pay the difference in rates or take my vehicle to another shop. I elected to take my vehicle to another shop. Simple. When I arrived to pick up my car they hit me with $980 charge for "storages fees". No work was done on the car. No disassembly. The car sat unlocked in their parking lot. $980 for what? I wish I would have looked at their recent reviews from other customers. They will hold your car hostage and then make you pay the ransom fee to get it back. AVOID THIS SHOP read more

Excellent service. I have been to this location before but when it was ACS. It has since changed names but the service is still excellent. I came for a claim with Geico after a car wash ruined my wheels and was greeted by Mike Mastro as well as the Geico rep Aaron Lewis. Both had be in and out of the shop in 20 minutes and even offered me a ride back to work. I received updates via text on the progress and picked my car up the next morning. It was hassle free and a very pleasant experience. This is a Geico express location and so if in the unfortunate event I have to file further claims with my insurance company this will be my shop of choice read more

Great friendly people. Had several problems regarding incomplete work and poor quality workmanship. Lets just say that when they are "done" with your car- there a lot of extra parts, bolts and fasteners left over in the bucket. Ask for every single part that was replaced and the bucket with all the left over fasteners. Even if it is a truck load- you will need it to finish the job for them. There is an upside however- My BMW is a lot faster as it weighs less from all the missing fasteners and components. read more

I had a wonderful experience working with the two ladies who are the receptionist. They have been nothing more than beyond helpful, informative and amazing communication skills. For the ladies, Tiffany and I can't recalls the other lady's name I give them 5-star rating. My car has been in the shop since January and I am aware and understand the delay due to parts being back ordered and then sitting in the port due to COVID. I understand things happen to all of us beyond our control. What I am upset and frustrated with is the lack of clear, honest and transparent communication from Arlene. She's been handling my case. If I am not persistent and keep calling she won't return calls. She informed me my vehicle was going to be ready today. She has been giving me dates that my car will be ready by only to be told she's waiting on part. I spoke to her a 5 days ago and she says my car needed paint, prime and then alignment. I asked if anything else was pending. She said ALL the parts were already installed and painting and alignment was all that was needed but it was going to be done by Friday. I asked if all was clear with payment from insurance and she said yes. She said she would call me Thursday in case something was pending regarding payment. No call. It's Friday, I call only to find out Arlene did not mention she is waiting on four parts. If it was not for myself or husband calling then we would still be waiting to hear from her. The lack of communication has been a stressful experience on top of already having been in a car accident of no fault of my own. Like I said, front staff is beyond amazing, friendly and courteous. Recently had these guys repair damage to my truck that was involved in a driver crossing the double yellow and damaging my vehicle to the tune of about 11k in damage. The shop manager (who no longer works there) had one of the employees contact me stating the work was complete and I could pick up the vehicle. When I arrived the vehicle had dust all over it and there was still quite a bit of broken glass inside the vehicle. I asked if they were going to clean the vehicle and he said yes it'll be cleaned when it's ready for pick-up. I said I was just told the vehicle was ready for me to pick up. He said "no it's not ready, I just wanted you to come and inspect it." I said why in the world would I want to inspect a filthy vehicle that's not even had the work complete. This makes no sense and you just wasted my time. Fast forward to another week. The vehicle is finally ready and when I inspected it I found that two of the rechargeable batteries I kept on the floor behind the seat were gone. I spoke to the manager about it and he said to get a receipt for the new ones I had ordered and he'd pay me back. 32 bucks was all it cost but I still haven't been able to collect what was promised. He blamed the office manager who he claimed was undergoing cancer treatments for failing to follow thru with sending me a check. I made numerous calls, texts responding b telling me the money is on the way. 6 months later no refund and I find the shop manager is no longer employed with Fix It. This shop wasted my time, and I had to go back multiple times to get the truck right. When I picked up my truck I found several items that weren't working or not programmed to work. Was really kind of a joke and I'll never have another vehicle repaired at that facility. I don't appreciate being lied to and jerked around. An update on previous posting. I was contacted by one of the owners of this business and she tried to make things right. She was very courteous and professional. The fact that she reached out says something for their awareness level and they have been making personnel changes for the betterment Of the company. I got into a fender bender and was referred here by my insurance company (Mercury) for the repair. It was a minor paint repair. When you drop your car off after an estimate, you fill out a form asking how many times you want to receive an update on your vehicle's repair weekly. I opted for twice a week. Week one, I received NO updates. Into week two was where I was beginning to have serious concerns. I have a Lexus app on my phone, which tells me how much gas I have in my vehicle and also alerts me on how my car is being driven. I had multiple daily alerts for "harsh breaking, harsh cornering, and fast acceleration". I also had an alert for "low tire pressure and 1 MILE UNTIL EMPTY" for gas. Mind you, I left my car here with a quarter tank of gas and good tire pressure on all 4 tires. I immediately called and asked to speak with Ralph. Judith the receptionist told me he was with a customer and would call me back in 10 minutes. I waited over an hour and called back. I finally spoke with Ralph who told me that they would put some gas in my car. Well, 2 days later my car was at ZERO gas. Now I'm thinking, what damage have you done to my car, which is a year old and I take EXCELLENT care of. Fuel pump damage? Engine damage? I spoke with the manager, Lacey, who was very nice and had to go out on her own time to fill my car up with some gas. I notified her of all the vehicle alerts while at this shop and she sounded appalled. She really had no explanation. My car was "ready" the next day and when I went to pick it up, I then had an alert that said "3/4 tires on low pressure." The guy made a face when I told him I wanted air in my tires. You,sir, will give me my vehicle the way I gave it to YOU. Then the girl at the front was trying to charge me a $500 deductible rate when my insurance had clearly stated it would only be $300. It took another girl to get up out of her chair to check and say "yeah, her payment is $300." The lack of communication at this shop is beyond unprofessional and unacceptable. The young kid left my tires FYI at 33 psi on the left and 34 psi on the right. Jeez! I won't ever recommend this shop to anyone I know. My app even showed someone making a pit stop to a nearby 7/11. I don't know maybe for a snack. Had it not been for my car app on my phone, I would've never known that my car ran out of gas and people were driving it like they were joy riding. I care for patients at work, and I treat my patients like if they were my family member. These people will never take care of your vehicle as if it were their own. read more

My cars bumper was completely off alignment. I called my insurance company to let them know what was going on and took pictures. They advise me to take it back down to fix auto to let them look at it so I did. The manager Ralph took pictures and told my insurance company that I hit something And that they did everything that they were supposed to do. So my insurance company denied my claim of having it fixed. I called my insurance company and told him that that wasn't true so my adjuster had me take it up to an auto body shop here in my town where I live. They looked at my car and said it was not hit again and that fix auto in Redlands did a horrible job on it. My adjuster came up to the autobody shop where I live and they looked at my vehicle and noticed that there was seven bolts missing and that's why my bumper was sagging like it was my adjuster realized that I didn't hit anything and that fix auto was completely lying. I have never dealt with an auto body shop that is treated their customers this way and has lied so much I'm pretty sure Mercury insurance is going to drop them and not use them no more. read more

BUYER BEWARE! Very poor customer service. Mike kept lying in my face about a decal they replaced on my rear fender, "The bubbles are going to disappear, just let the sun heat it up." Nope, the dealership where I had the original application done told me it doesn't work that way. Mike made me come back not once but twice, waste of time. Last time I was there they decided a heat gun would do the job, that didn't work. Now they agree to replace the decal but can't give me an exact time frame and will not put me in a rental. Fix Auto performed about $2,500 of body work and paint on my 2005 Toyota MR2. My car is low mileage and is in nearly new condition aside from recent damage, so I was keen that the body work and paint be pristine. The folks at Fix-Auto did not disappoint. After the repairs, my car looks truly brand new. When the work was finished and I inspected the car, I noticed a few minor issues with paint at the transition from the doors to the underbody and also a small issue with a few trim parts that were damaged during reassembly. I alerted Aaron, my contact at Fix-Auto, and he took care of both problems quickly and painlessly. Great customer service is about more than friendliness and the quality of work, it's about what the company does if there are problems. Some issues I had with my experience here is that whoever was workin on my car took my entire change compartment it was filled with coins and loose dollars . So if you guys want thief's to work on your vehicle go ahead . Also said it was be a 2 week timeline til my car is repaired said only my bumper needed to be repainted and new headlights . Ended up taking 2 months and also they broke my radiatior support and didn't tell me until I called and asked what the hold up was with my vehicle which is what supposedly led to my car being in shop for 2months . Other than those issues the customer service was good and they did a good job getting my car repaired EDITED *** ALSO ( I know I should have taken that stuff out before I dropped my vehicle off ) But , the principal to me is it's my belongings in my car and they were working on EXTERIOR work not interior . I got 3 local estimates for minor rear bumper repairs that I would be paying for myself. Two of the shops really wanted to replace the entire bumper, and one kept trying to talk me into going through my insurance company (because they can make a lot more money than if I pay for it myself), and neither of those would promise this could be done in one day. I needed it done in one day. Fix Auto said they could replace only the bumper parts that needed replacing in 2-3 hours. They were done in 2 hours and it looks like new. Everyone there was really friendly and I didn't feel like just one of a crowd. I highly recommend this business, the difference between their attitude and the other shops was night & day.
