I would recommend this shop to anyone! Family owned and reasonably priced! But the main reason why I'm writing a review - is for their HONESTY!! That they've always given me!! But the last time I was there - they went above and beyond with it!! I went in for my regular oil change, and the previous visit I was told I should consider changing my filters (cabin, etc.). So I informed them during this visit that I was ready to have them changed. But when my car was ready for pickup, they informed me that in a matter of fact.. I didn't need them right now.. AND THEY DIDN'T DO THEM AND DIDN'T CHARGE ME. I feel like another shop would just do it and take your money! Not these guys!! That is PURE genuine service to me!! Took my 2014 Honda in because the ABS light came on. They insisted it needed the ABS module rebuilt so I saved for several months to have the repair done. Took it in and they had it for five days. When I came to pick it up, they said the module did not fix the problem and now it needed another $800 in repairs. Obviously they misdiagnosed the problem and repaired something that wasn't broken. Furthermore, the mechanic claimed someone had previously worked on the instrument cluster and that was the reason for the problem. However nobody has ever worked on this car but them. The mechanic got angry and was rude to us when we disputed his claim. I spent $500 and my vehicle still has the same problem as it did when I took it in! In fact there are more lights lit up on my dash than before they worked on it I DO NOT recommend this shop. read more

My family and I rolled in near closing time with a dying battery & alternator on our way back to AZ. Some of the workers came out and were very polite and helpful. The team got to work right away testing the car, calling their supplier for a new alternator, and putting together a reasonable quote. The owner, Ramona, was also very nice, honest, and up front about expectations. She also gave suggestions on where to stay if we had to get a local hotel. Didn't need to, though, because they were able to get the part and one of their workers was willing to stay late to do the job, so we were out of there about an hour later! read more

I needed some information and clarification on my Honda's valve adjustment schedule especially since my owner manual said only adjust when noisy and the dealership said at 100,000 miles. After doing much research on the internet as well as calling various shops I got many different answers none of which I felt were backed by true long term experience, many answers were based on general practice not vehicle specific. I decided to look up Honda specialist shops and ran across Reid's. Decided to give them a call and spoke with Reid's wife, she was amazing. She is very knowledgeable and spent quite a while with me answering all my questions and leaving me with confidence on how to proceed with caring for my car. I let her know early on that I lived quite far away and for the most part it would be impractical for me to have them do the work, that didn't matter she still spent the time with me to answer my questions and give suggestions on how to help my car live a long and reliable life. Very disappointed and never to return. I've been going there for years and thought they were honest, just had my car serviced for making a loud noise for months. After they had it for day, we spent over $2000, and they MISDIAGNOSED the problem and it wound up being something else!!! They made the mistake and wouldn't refund our money, we wound up paying another $500 to solve the problem. I would NOT recommend them to anyone and it breaks my heart because I'm a Christian and want to believe the best in everyone. This money could have been someone's rent or groceries for a long time. A very trustworthy and friendly experience at Reid's. I took my Acura TLX to Reid's after I was quoted nearly $4000 for a "damaged" engine at a different shop. After some diagnostics and a software update, my car was running back to normal for less than $200. I was so grateful, I had them perform my drive belt and ATF change. Quick summary - Negligent job on a regular work that could get someone killed. Quick arrogant denial. When cornered that they had to admit it was their fault, all you got was "well, sorry about that". With this attitude, I seriously doubt they'll ever do anything to avoid this kind of horrible job. I've been going here for service since it's close to work even though it is somewhat pricey. However, after the service I had on yesterday 1/25/2023, I will no longer be going here. On 1/25/2023 morning I had work done on my CRV on the timing chain tensioner and brakes. I picked up the car later in the day. Then I drove my son to a lesson. I was on the freeway when all the warning lights on the dash came on and the power steering went out. I exited the freeway immediately pulling to the side of the road. The automatic braking kicked on and the car promptly stopped and the engine cut out. I was unable to start the car again. The next morning I called Reid's and started explaining what happened. The guy immediately said it was not their issue. He transferred me to a lady (I forget her name). She was more friendly, but the overall result was the same. Basically, just bring it in and they will look at it. Also, she said the work they did had nothing to do with what would potentially be the alternator. "Coincidence happens" as she put it. I asked if they could tow it...but she said they don't have tow trucks (well, I don't either). Anyways, I called AAA and they sent out a tow truck. While the guy was testing the battery, he noticed the wire harness for the alternator was completely disconnected. Disconnected at 3 points (the alternator) and two other locations. Plus, the wiper fluid container was just floating around in the engine compartment. The AAA guy was shocked at such a horrible job. He reconnected the wire harness, put a charger on the battery and the car started fine and has been fine ever since. I called Reid's again. The guy who answered handed me over to the lady when he knew it was me. The lady kept denying - could be disconnected already before they worked on the car; could be someone else did it after they worked on the car; could be disconnected natural. Eventually I told her it was disconnect in three places and you had to unscrew the a bolt on the alternator to connect the wire harness. She finally couldn't come up with any excuses. All she said - "I'm sorry about that David." That was all. read more

When first introduced to Reids Honda I was very pleased. The brake program they offered was fairly reasonable. But now that I need them done after paying full price the first time and the program warranty price the last time they tell me they switched vendors and now won't honor what they should honor as a paying customer . Never once was it mentioned that if a vendor changed they wouldn't honor it! Highly disappointed and on top of it want to up charge me ! Estimated for rear brakes a lil over 400$ ! For a 2020 accord. When spreen and any other Honda dealer charges 375 that's honestly crazy ridiculous and because of this and the lady upfront basically telling me " well you either pay it or you don't " . I went in get my head lights replaced and the guy literally said okay where are the keys, we're going outside and I was so flabbergasted I couldn't speak because they just went right to work and then I finally said I've got to get my nephew out of the car , he laughed and said yes get him out, I also had my battery die and then they checked it and it had a dead cell so I paid for a new battery, I had recently gotten the car so I wanted new transmission fluid, had a concern with the rear wiper, it was just turned the wrong way, Evan was awesome and Nichole who is the front desk receptionist was so sweet, I had a two yr little man with me and she never made us feel uncomfortable, but I went somewhere else for the oil change and that place made me feel like I really needed to get out of there fast, but anyway I now know that I'm getting my oil changed at Reids, I paid attention when I'm driving and saw a sign "we do Honda and Acura", so glad I saw that sign, experience was a 10/10 customers are welcomed and fair pricing, they do recommend an appointments if they have to order parts for your vehicle, and the waiting area has toys for the little ones . Thanks for helping me out with my New Honda, I've got my new Honda fixed without paying out of the sky, but I understand that there may be a time I may have a problem with my car and it could be major money but I also feel confident that they aren't out to prey on females, when my battery died they said your they could replace it with a two yr warranty no pressure to get it done there Evan told me I would probably need a jump so needless to said replace it and I had everything done ,Try Reid's your Honda will thank you!!!!!!!! So I brought my 2019 Honda civic in for repair of my car computer because it was not working the way it should so I gave my car to Reid's in the hopes they will give me my car back fixed and safe to drive about 2 days later I get a call your car is fixed and is ready to be picked up when I picked the car I had driven around the block and noticed my car was pulling hard left and my breaks were being depressed by themselves and these problems that had never occurred before giving the car to Reid's (HELLO MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD) so I gave the car back and Reid's said they would take care of me I gave it back on Friday and today 11/05/24 they text me on a random number (CAR IS DONE) so of course as any normal person I call to confirm the number and if it is really is Reid's texting me about my car or something else when the older guy picked up the phone I told him my name and what car I have he immediately became mad and started to cuss at me at this point I was done with these games that Reid's is trying to pull there is a lot more to this story that my lawyer will hear but I hope anyone reading this understands this place is a trash establishment that doesn't care about long term customers and customer satisfaction if the guy answering the phone is not educated or smart enough to talk to customers he should not be answering the phone period please do no support this business and give them your hard earned cash because what they have showed me is they want to take your money and fuck you over and over just like any other dishonest mechanic read more

My Honda Accord hybrid needed routine maintenance. I called Reid's, and I was able to get in, in about half an hour. They do excellent work at a good price in a very reasonable amount of time. Honda's are great cars, but the dealerships near me are not my favorite. Reid's Honda is my favorite! My husband has driven more Honda's than I, and he loves Reid's! I love this place! My Honda Pilot started making a loud muffler noise from the engine bay. I brought it in talking to Jessica (I believe) and Ray was there hearing the problem. Ray checked out the car quickly in the parking lot while I was signing the car in and then he stopped me saying that he was going to save me a lot of money. Ray referred me to go next door to get my exhaust pipe system welded since someone attempted to steal my catalytic converter. They were close but they just cut part of the exhaust system. This is a very honest and caring Auto Mechanic. I trust them with anything wrong with my car, and if you need to go to a Honda Dealer for anything (like a warranty problem) they will back you up! I had to go to a dealer for a catalitic converter problem that was covered by warranty and I went to a dealer they recommended and I mentioned Reid's and I got very good treatment. This place is a joke. I called to have an aftermarket swaybar installed. I agreed to the ($400.00) price, made the appointment, went WAY out of my way to get the car there at 7:00 am, only to get a call an hour later telling me "They don't install aftermarket performance parts" despite me making it clear that's what it was in the first place. "We thought it was just the swaybar links"; I never even said the WORD links in the original call. So, the quote for almost $400 to install the links would have been an outrageous price to boot! These people are either idiots or scammers and I wouldn't let them WASH my Honda at this point. This place is a complete disappointment and I'll never go there again, and I'd give them negative stars if I could! read more

When I used to visit my fiance back in Riverside way back in 2006, I had the pleasure of getting my car serviced by Reid. He goes above and beyond the call of duty. The first time I sent my car to him, my passenger seat stopped moving forward. I didn't know what happened. Very sad, my fiance and I went to him and he looked at my car. It turns out that a cable got unhooked when my chair was pushed back. He rubbed his head against my floor mats and then used his hands to reconnect the cable. It worked perfectly afterwards. When I asked him how much, he told me "nothing." He didn't charge me ANYTHING!! I was so grateful. The next time, I got a check engine light on my car. Went to him and he gave me a new gas cap and only made me pay for that. The dealership would have made me pay full price to tell me that I needed to get a new gas cap. The last time, my car needed to be serviced for something major according to the car dealership. Unfortunately they were charging an arm and a leg so I went to Reid. He told me that all I needed was an oil change and my transmission fluid replaced. He told me that those services were the only ones necessary for my car, and that the dealership makes a big deal about certain services in order to charge you a lot of money. Reid does not charge you extra for anything you don't need. He is honest, very helpful, and does the best work! read more

I've been to Reid's several times for my Honda troubles and they always know exactly what the problem is and how to fix it. Everyone is so pleasant and helpful, from the front office to the mechanics. They always seem to be able to charge a more reasonable price than other places as well. There was even one time when I had new windshield wipers sitting inside my car and they replaced them for me for free without me even asking. Easy five stars. read more

I should have read their reviews before going there. What a rip off I went in for an engine noise and they pulled my timing belt cover without fully disclosing that I was going to pay over $300 for that and said the noise was coming from my timing belt tensioner so I took their recommendation and had it replaced. Come to find out the noise was still there and after looking at the old part it still looked good no hydraulic fluid leaking from it like they claimed so almost $700 later I left with the same issue I brought it in for. This shop had my car for 3 days and could not help me with my issue. I believe they replaced an unnecessary part to make up for the time they spent and tried to talk there way out of it. I had a Honda technician at sprees look at the original part they replaced and they said there was nothing wrong with it should of went there first. read more
