I was recommended to come to this shop based on their integrity, quality of work, and efficiency. I had my brakes and rotors surfaced same day for a reasonable price. Later that night, while driving, there was an issue with my tire where it would significantly vibrate at high speeds. I took it in the next morning and Greg immediately took it in to see what the problem was. It appeared that I may have left the parking brake partially set, and they cleaned up and resurfaced the rotor at no cost. He made sure to take it for a test drive to ensure the problem was fixed. Other shops may have refused to take responsibility and/or charged additional fees. Greg's garage take pride in their work and ensure you leave satisfied. Maybe you can find someplace cheaper, but I'd rather trust my vehicle with a shop that has integrity and cares for the end result of their work. read more

I have taken my Jeep compass to Greg's Garage twice now for separate issues. Each visit Greg and his team were incredibly helpful. They diagnosed the issues quickly and were able to quickly complete repairs. I had gone to another shop before and was quoted very high, so I decided to give Greg's a chance. Greg's pricing is extremely fair and I was left with quality work. I will continue to bring my cars here in the future read more

Great, honest work at a fair price. Have taken my car a few times here and will be going back.

Still coming here after a few years, glad I found Greg's Garage. I actually looked for a mechanic before I searched for a physician upon moving to Redlands. Honest guys and do great work at a good price. My whole family comes here now. If he would work on BMWs, it would be one stop shop for me! read more

This review is based off information and verbal correspondence. Greg was a stand up man and helped me with getting me to the right transmission shop. He took the time to talk to me and give information and I felt he was genuinely wanting to help me get my issue fixed even if it wasn't at his shop. Thanks again Greg read more

Daughter goes to the University of Redlands and needed repairs to her car. Greg's garage helped us out and made sure her car was safe. Great prices and communication with honest service. Would highly recommend using them. Thank you from a parent a few states away. read more

Greg and his staff are very professional and worked very efficiently and determined problems more than just a torn upper radiator hose . Replaced leaking water pump / thermostat/ upper and lower hoses in less than 24 hours . All this during the time when heat and humidity in Redlands was 108 and 75%. Great job Greg! Thank you for getting my Suburban fixed so quickly and at an affordable price.!! read more

Quality work, honest guys, and fair pricing is what you get at Greg's Garage. Friends recommended this shop and I couldn't be happier. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and timely. Got some front end work done on my Mazda CX-9 as I was having issues with my steering. Greg and his crew did fantastic work and had my car completely fixed within a couple of days. I will be bringing all of my auto needs here from now on. Highly recommend! It's been a year and all is great! read more

So i made an appointment for air conditioning service but my engine started to overheat so naturally i asked greg at this shop to check that before servicing my ac. Upon getting there he tells me that he doesnt think he can even get it fixed. Im like i wish you would have told me that before i drove 45 mins to you. Thats just common curtosy. He basically told me to leave and that wasnt the shop i needed to come to. I was like really wow. I made an appointment and thats how you treat people. I guess he doesnt need the business. I went to garys viking and he said no problem and he be able to get it done. Garys reccomended this place but after telling them they said they wont again. Not good service. read more

Very reliable mechanic in Redlands.. U want the issue fixed he will do it. His word is his bond n my cars are grateful

Super polite people, but I felt like I was being cheated. Called to get an estimate for an oil change and 90 thousand mile tune up. They told me the oil change was $50 and the tune up would be $600!!! He said the oil change would be included because it's part of the tune up. He continued to tell me what he was changing, appreciated, but finished by telling me it would be $600 if I needed to change my spark plugs but only $580 if they didn't... but spark plugs are the most expensive part. Then stated it would be about $600 plus the oil change.. what? I thought that was included? Either way extremely expensive. Found another place that did my tune up for $275. Not sure what kind of business they are running there. read more

Greg and team always manage to get our vehicles serviced like we're top priority. Great customer service, very honest in letting you know what you can do, vs. what you actually need to get back on the road. Honest and Fair pricing. read more

I was stuck on a Monday morning thinking I'd have to get a cab to the airport because my check engine light and ABS light came on Sunday night. This would have meant leaving my college student daughter to deal with an unfamiliar car on her own. I was envisioning huge expenses and would have felt felt trapped into paying whatever to get the car fixed quickly. Despite having a busy morning, Greg's Garage got it diagnosed and fixed more quickly than I expected and had me back on the road before I had to call a Lyft. They also tested out a few extra things and only charged me the initial very reasonable quote. Saved my week!! My daughter's been driving it a month with no further problems. I have told her if anything else comes up- take it straight back to Greg's. Thank you!! read more

My sister from out of town stopped at Greg's Garage because the check engine light was on in her Jeep & wouldn't go out. Greg found out the problem, went to the Jeep dealer, got a new water put & stayed late to install it. His price was lower than he had quoted. How many people stay late on a Friday night to fix a vehicle for a traveler? Thank you so much Greg Best! read more

Highly recommended. I've been to Greg's several times over the last several years. I went their originally from reading the yelp reviews. I had taken it to the Redlands Dodge dealer service in years past and had good luck but they changed once the place was remolded and really preferred to try another place. I've taken my Dodge Diesel Truck and recently and a 70's corvette. I'm fairly knowledgeable with cars but get stuck or easier to have someone else do certain items. I recently brought in my older corvette after kind of restoring it with a timing issue I couldn't really figure out. Dropped it off on a Monday late afternoon and Greg called me a couple of times the next day with an update and had it solved and running great that afternoon. Along with adjusting the carburetor. Great service and extremely helpful you get calls about your service all the times I've taken my car there. If you are in the Redlands area and know a lot about cars or really nothing I'd consider giving Greg's Garage a try. read more

The best mechanic I have ever been too!!! Hands down. I'm always weary of visiting mechanics because I have been ripped off before because I am a young woman with no real knowledge of cars. Greg and his mechanics are very upfront and honest with me about what is wrong/needs to be done. I can never go anywhere else. I trust this garage wholeheartedly with my car. Great people who care about this community! read more

I don't usually write reviews but when you come across a business that is this great you are obligated to share. I have a Honda civic hybrid and the AC wasn't working. Honda dealership gave me a list that was close to $1,000 in repairs. I decided to take to a local shop and I get my AC fixed, so cold that my knuckles freeze now, LOL. Not to mention the cost was a little over $100 bucks. I will trust Greg and his awesome team from now on. Thank you, Angela Perez read more

Today was a horrible day. Decided to go see my grandson in San Diego. But first I needed to go pick up my car from my son. And trouble was awaiting me. Little did I realize know, God had an angel waiting for me. My car complete went out at the bank. I mean wouldn't start even with a jump. I just wanted to cry. But I couldn't because I would of felt I was giving up. So I started calling many Auto Repair. Either it cost too much or they wouldn't be able to help me until Monday. Finally, I called Greg, oh my goodness he saved my day and weekend. I trusted his voice and then he was so very patient with me getting my car there. I found me a new Mechanic!! That fixed my car and now I'm in San Diego to visit my grandson. Thank you so much Greg Garage. I will be back. read more

I brought the Vibe in because I began experiencing a vibration under braking. I could feel it through the steering wheel. The day I brought it into your shop there were three employees on site. A Hispanic gentleman who appeared to be working on a vehicle in one of the far left bays, a man who appeared to be in his 20s and a man who appeared to be in his 30s. The younger man took the Vibe for a test drive, brought it back, removed all four wheels, and inspected it. The older man pretty much sat around scratching his butt until the younger man had him look at the brakes as well. The wheels were put back on my vehicle, and it was lowered off the rack. I was informed that they found nothing wrong and they relieved me of some $37. I was incredulous. And I drove off with the vibration still very much intact. So I took it back to Riverside to my old garage. As soon as I described the problem my mechanic he said the rotors needed to be ground. An appointment was made, the job was done, and the vibration was gone. I thought about returning to your business and asking for a refund, but I figured you had problems enough since I had just dealt with two of them. read more

I needed a new mechanic and someone I could trust... Every single time, before coming to Greg's Garage, I have been haggled and pressured by previous auto shops, trying to up sell me something I do not need or take advantage of my lack of knowledge in the auto arena. However at Greg's Garage this did not happen!!! I got amazing service by kind, professional mechanics. The prices are more than fair but most of all I feel comfortable taking my car here and not worrying about being taken advantage of. They are great people, who do great work. read more
