Had a really good house call with AutoScope. He did a very thorough job diagnosing what was wrong with my window on my 2010 Hyundai Tucson. I can tell he's very experienced and really good at what he does. Very professional and friendly. I will definitely be using him in the future. read more

Nico at Autoscope has been my #1 go to for any repairs or upgrades on my German sports car for years now. I would give 10 stars for their most excellent service, maximum clarity on repairs and stellar communication. read more

Kudos! Nico engenders a higher standard of loyalty. Yes, my local shops and chains have been good to me in the 36 years I have owned my Jeep YJ. I met Nico when he was making house calls in my humble neighborhood providing excellent service for reasonable rates. He responds to weekend text request quickly and was in my driveway ready to go bright and early Monday morning. He replaced a power window regulator likety-split and identified a separate nagging issue and is guiding me about the right part to have ready. Looking forward to my next repair with Autoscope Mobile Auto Repair! read more

Whenever I am down south, this is the place I take my Mini to. They are quick to respond to inquiries & are honest about whatever work might need to be done. Things happen when I'm driving between San Francisco & Redlands. I'm glad I found this shop! read more

First time with the Autoscope Mobile Service. Great experience! We've used them for 5 years at their shop on Redlands Blvd. Now it's even an easier experience. They know BMWs! Even 21 year old BMWs! They were prompt, they wrote up a complete estimate and invoice, and paying with Zelle was a snap! Highly Recommended!!! Two Thumbs Ip!!! read more

Incredibly literate and experienced mechanics. An extremely warm and welcoming business that told me exactly what was going on with my car. Charged me precisely half of what the dealership would have charged me. Their level of expertise is to be admired. My car is extremely responsive and drives like a dream. I highly recommend Autoscope. I am taking in my GMC truck in next week and all my family's other vehicles to Autoscope from now on. Once you find honest hard working mechanics treat them well! Awesome shop!!! Father Joe and son Nick are the best in the business. My wife Joan used Joe to find the exact year, model, features Avalon. Joe attended a car auction in San Diego and found a perfect match. Joan's "new/used" Avalon was an excellent price and Joe found the exact features she specified!!! Autoscope (Joe) almost immediately found a good buyer for her "older" Avalon and got a good price for it. Nick labored over my 2004 Mercedes C-240 with a bunch of damage, and, IMHO, worked a miracle. My old Mercedes is back to drivable, reliable and even looks awesome. Nick at Autoscope did this for less than 1/4th of the expense estimates I had from two other businesses. I totally recommend you use Autoscope On Redlands Boulevard to buy or sell your used car and for any and all of your car repair needs. Jm I continue to get perfect, prompt servicing on my Mercedes c340 from Rick et alii at AUTOSCOPE. They're just the best. John Benson, MD read more

This place has the best repairs and customer service! They are very up front and honest about what you need and what you get. They also showed me the issue in the car so I could see first hand what services the car needed. They are a family owned business and the brothers were so helpful-- they did everything to keep me updated, informed, and ultimately very satisfied. I even received a discount because he said that the diagnostic part was easier than they had planned so he wanted to charge me less. All in all, I highly recommend this business! read more

Rick and Nico are always so professional and patient. They answer the hundreds of questions I have and clearly explain any issues with my car. They are completely upfront and honest. I have an Audi TDI and they have been great with the issues that have come up - many other places are not willing or not capable of handling it. I stopped going to the dealer and use Autoscope exclusively. I highly recommend Autoscope! read more

After having a very bad experience at the Redlands Jeep dealer, on a friend's recommendation, I took my car to Autoscope. Rick is very kind, very patient, very knowledgeable and very professional. It was not because of lack of trying that they were not able to repair my problem (my car being a Jeep). I'm definitely bringing my car back for oil changes and whatever maintenance work they are able to perform on my Jeep. It would be almost worth buying an Audi or BMW just to have the confidence that there is a competent mechanic shop nearby :o) Thank You! read more

Autoscope Mobile is the best! They make it so convenient with coming to your home, your job or wherever you are and getting the repairs finished in a timely manner with professional expertise. The prices are extremely fair and their work is top-notch. I've been using Nico for years, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Top notch! Highly recommend for all auto services! read more

I recently bought a 2015 VW Golf TDI so i thought it would be a good idea to bring it to the city's "German Car Specialists" to have it checked out and get the oil changed. They did the oil change as requested and also recommended a serpentine belt change. Called my old mechanic and got the same exact part swapped for $80 less than Autoscope quoted me. They also charged an extra 4% fee because we paid for the oil change with a debit card. Who pays for car service with cash? Then to make matters worse, a day after the oil change I got an error light on my dash to Reduce Oil Level. Called Autoscope and they had no solution and were not apologetic in any way. Took the car back in to my old mechanic and sure enough, Autoscope overfilled the car which can cause damage to the engine. (VW Specialists??) Overpriced, made errors on my car, and no attempt to make it right. I love supporting independant shops but I will never take my car here again. read more

This week was the first time I had the pleasure of having the "new" Autoscope Mobile Service come to our house, though we have been happy and satisfied customers of Autoscope for 12 years. They have taken excellent care of two of our Mercedes and several Toyotas through those years. Joe did a fabulous job helping my wife sell her previous Avalon, and find The Perfect replacement car that met her specifications exactly. Rick and Nick showed up on time at the house and quickly and accurately diagnosed and fixed my Mercedes C-300. I recommend Autoscope in the highest terms. A Redlands gem!!!!! They were kind, let me sit in their office and wait for my car, got my oil and smog done in an hour when I didn't have an appointment, and they tried to give me the best price with the best oil. They didn't hassle me with "issues to be fixed" on my car at all but just did what needed to be done which is something I love (being a girl)! They were talkative and they were family friendly. Really appreciated their ability to fit me in last minute! read more

Excellent service. I had major work done on my car & I felt like Will definitely continue to use them for my VW. Thank you.

Very clean shop, very professional and friendly staff more than willing to go above and beyond to help their customers. Rick helped me in particular and he explained the issues with my car and although they did not have the parts that were needed in stock to repair my car, he drove to pick up one and the other part was ready the next day and I got my car serviced very quickly. Each part took about an hour, and it wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be so I was pleased with the amount that I spent. Other shops that I had been to would not take a look at my car because they wanted to actually see the car having issues which was only sometimes which was difficult. At Autoscope they tested different things on the car without a problem to find the issue. Overall I think the place was very comfortable, especially for waiting for my car to be done and I would highly recommend this location to anyone! read more

My air conditioning was not working in my 22 year old car. I feared a broken compressor or something else that would be expensive. Turned out to be a loose fitting that allowed the freon to escape. The solution was a tightening of the fitting and a recharge of freon for $160. Autoscope was able to work on my car the day I called. They were fast, efficient and friendly at reasonable prices. I will definitely go back to them when I need auto work done! read more

The team at autoscope are amazing. After being recommended to change my engine mounts by the dealership, I decided to bring the car to autoscope for a second opinion. They were very friendly, informative and professional. They saved me time and money as they inspected my Audi and told me there was nothing wrong with the engine mounts. Autoscope is extremely honest and if you have an Audi please take it to them as they won't disappoint you or make you pay for unnecessary repairs. From now on I'm definitely going back to autoscope if anything come up. read more

My wife informed me that our Volvo suddenly was making a weird noise and the engine seemed to be running rough. The closest dealership is in Ontario. This plus their service, the last couple of times was so-so and the costs were outrageous. So I researched local places and found AutoScope. Good reviews, and a local presence. Took the car in and in less than 90 seconds Nico (not sure of the spelling) diagnosed the problem. He turned me over to Rick and between these two guys the problem, from start to finish was solved in 24 hours. These guys are professional, knowledgeable, thorough and very helpful. They took the time to explain the problem in detail, outlined the solution and itemized the costs. The car has been running great and we just got back from a trip to the Pacific Northwest without any issues. We will be back to see them for regular vehicle maintenance as well as any repairs needed in the the future. I wholeheartedly recommend them. read more
