I would not recommend bringing your vehicle to Fix Auto Redlands. I recently bought my car to Fix Auto for a minor repair. My mom backed into my car while it was parked in the driveway. No big deal, I brought both cars to this certified body shop expecting professional service and what I received unfortunately was far from what you would want from a certified body shop. The problems first began after about three weeks of leaving the cars in their care. I called the shop asking for an update and they informed me, once I called, that they have not started working on my mom's car. Upset that my mom's car has been sitting at the shop for three with zero progress or updates on the repairs, I took the car to another shop. This other shop finished the entire car start to finish in two weeks and their work and communication was outstanding. In that same call previously mentioned, I inquired about my car which was there for the same damages as my mom's car. I was told that my car will be done in two weeks, and the only thing holding it up from being done was waiting on a bracket to show up in the mail. This moves my timeline to five weeks in total so far. I patiently waited the additional two weeks then called fix auto again. I was constantly told that my adjuster wasn't around or in a meeting and couldn't take my call. Once I finally spoke with someone I was told that they haven't begun the repairs on my vehicle yet and they don't have an eta on when it'll be done. This information completely conflicted with what I was told two weeks ago. Obviously growing frustrated that I haven't had a car for five weeks and had no clue when it'll be done, I went down to Fix Auto to figure out what was going on. Speaking with my adjuster he provided me with a series of excuses and told me the car will be done in two weeks. To rectify the situation he threw in a free "full-service detail" which has a value of $350. This gesture was enough for me to allow them to have the car for another two weeks. So far we are seven weeks in with my car being at fix auto. The shop I took my mom's car to (which is the same brand and model as my car) fixed her car in two weeks and it came out immaculate. Once the two weeks were up I went to pick up my car. I receive my voucher for my free auto detail and left with the car. Finally, after just about two months I got my car back and at last, get to drive it home. Once I pulled into my driveway I noticed two of my bumper sensors fell out during the drive home! Now every time I put the car into reverse the car is constantly beeping. So I have no choice but to take the car back to Fix Auto. They take three days to re-attach the sensors and detail the car. I wasn't even going to write this review but when I saw how they gave the car back to me I knew I had no choice. The sensors look like a six-year-old installed them. And the "full service" car detail valued at $350 looks like they just took my car through a gas station drive-through wash. I waited over two months for this simple repair and their work was so poor I had to take it to another shop to properly reinstall the sensor and properly detail the car. All in all Fix Auto Redlands displayed a gross lack of communication, professionalism, and customer service. I would not recommend anyone dropping off their vehicle, no matter how simple of a repair. read more

We took our motorhome there about 20 months ago and recently picked it up. The original estimate they gave us was two months for completion. During the time our coach was at the shop it was vandalized and parts stolen off of it,(catalytic converter). Although the shop ended up paying for most of the damages it was extremely inconvenient to travel an hour away to get our new converter approved and to resmog our coach. I went in for a car wash. And Fix Auto did such an amazing job on my car. I live up in the mountains so I get a lot of rain and snow. Not to mention dirt and leaves from all of the trees around us. So my car was in pretty bad shape. But that was no issue for them. They went above and beyond my expectations. They cleaned under the hood and removed all of the leaves and left it looking brand new. They even went as far as putting a wax coating to help with the rain. Once the car was done Roger walked me through on what they did to it and what were some of the spots they focused on. It made me feel like they really cared and I wasn't just another customer in their books. I was expecting to pay an arm and a leg for this type of service but they gave me such a great deal. I have not gotten my car repaired here because one of the estimators Lacey took over a week to get my estimate to me despite telling me I would receive it by the end of the day when she came out to look at the damage. After almost a week went by, I called repeatedly and was told by the office ladies that I would definitely receive it via email by the end of the day. Three times that did not happen. Finally Lacey got back to me and informed me that instead of repainting the whole bumper and doing it properly, they were only going to paint where the scratches were. That will leave inconsistencies the eyes will catch. Other body shops I talked to said the proper way is to remove the whole bumper fix the damage and respray it and re-clear it. She keeps arguing with me and telling me it's what the insurance decides. But the insurance company says they want it repaired correctly so they don't have to do it again. They actually agree with me. Considering too I'm the one paying insurance for the coverage. Are you still like the shop and referred people there, but I don't like cutting corners and I don't like being ignored. They have lost my business. I can't give a rating for the actual body workers who do the repairs as I didn't get that far. But as far as my experience with this particular staff member, if I were her boss I would be very displeased with the lack of communication, the lack of professionalism, and brushing me off as if I don't matter. read more

I was driving down the freeway the other day and a safety cone flew over the center divider to slam into my front bumper. It dislodged my front decal and split the panels on my front grille and bumper. It was hard to diagnose whether there was damage done otherwise, so I called Fix Auto Redlands in the morning and they said they'd be happy to take a look if I brought it in before they closed for the day. I drove down an hour before they closed and within 5 minutes Diana was inspecting my car and was able to help snap my front bumper panels back together. She was friendly and professional and didn't charge me a thing for her time. We have used Fix Auto Redlands twice for two different vehicle repairs. Both times there were sizeable dents on our cars. Most recently, we thought we would need to replace our entire Tesla bumper, but Aaron (the owner) and the Fix Auto team figured out a way to repair the damage without having to replace the entire bumper. They saved us a fortune. I love that they are Tesla certified, so you know your car is being repaired by the very best. After sideswiping a guardrail and sustaining cosmetic damage to our Tiffin Coach, we were referred to RV Collision Center of Redlands (aka Fix Auto) as a preferred provider by our insurance company (Nationwide). As a preferred provider, we did not have to deal with paperwork or adjusters, and the workmanship was guaranteed for life (or something similar...maybe as long as we own vehicle...I don't really recall for sure). We were a little skeptical of the offer, as I could not find any reviews online, and wondered if they were just a low cost provider for the insurance company. After talking to RV Collision Center, I learned that most of their business is under Fix Auto, as are their reviews. Ultimately we decided to give them a try, and were very satisfied with the experience from beginning to end. I met with Danny who reviewed damage and explained the work required to repair the damage. Danny worked with us on our travel plans to shoehorn our repair into our schedule. The work was completed in just over 1 month, including part orders, which was well within our scheduling needs and expectations. Danny was great to work with, and appears to bring many years of personal and professional RV experience to the job. Despite appearing to be very hands on (i.e. on the shop floor a lot), Danny was very easy to contact during the process. During the registration process, they provide you with a roadmap of their workflow, so you have clear understanding of how the work will proceed. In addition, you are given options as to how often you want to be updated during the process (e.g. on a fixed interval, or when specific events occur). In addition to Danny, the office staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout the process. The workmanship was excellent, and as previously stated, met our scheduling needs (i.e. did not interfere with previously arranged travel plans). As originally stated by Nationwide, we never had to get involved with the insurance paperwork, etc. Hopefully, we will not need their services again. But, if we do, we'll definitely be taking our motorhome back to RV Collision Center of Redlands read more

My daughter was hit by a drunk driver, she only had her brand new first ever car for 2 weeks before this happened. Needless to say I found this company and they had my daughter tow her car into their shop, insurance covered everything however Jennifer and Jessica and the service techs all did a wonderful job very helpful very nice and caring and went above and beyond to make sure the work was timely and that all the bills were sent to insurance received no cost out of pocket and the car looks better than it did coming off the dealership lot, they actually replaced some items for free at no cost I would highly recommend them for any accident auto body work and paint, if possible have it towed from accident to that shop. So happy we made the choice to go with them and that I went off of the reviews online to choose them they are exactly a 5 star place and so professional so kind and caring and very very good at what they do. read more

I ask to talk to a supervisor cuz that don't sound right and I'm tired of being lied to I get a guy one of the estimator supervisors to look at the file and explain things better , he said something completely different then lacy or the front office lady and what he said sounded right from previous experiences which is they need to do a diagnostic on any sensors from the damaged area and they got a POP already from the payment and just need to send another one to the insurance then I can get the car Monday . Now it's Monday I call and lacy saying the same shit the guy said but saying I need to wait for the payment from the insurance before I can get the car . This review is long overdue. This accident happened about 6 mos. back. But I did not want to skip a review, the service was too phenomenal for that. So, better late than never. My beloved tank (black chevy tahoe) was hit by a woman as I sat in it, in a parking lot. We proceeded to exchange insurance info and then she was off. I have never been in an accident before, so I was very unsure of the process through insurance etc. On our community facebook page I discovered there is a couple who live local (South Orange County) that own and operate Fix Auto in Redlands. Not only did they have great reviews of service and work done by our local residents/ past & present clients, which I love to hear. They also offer to call insurance directly so I didn't have to deal with the woman, her insurance and any paperwork or timelines, myself. Win. After calling and speaking/getting two more quotes from local dealers, I thought an out of city repair shop might take too long. Fix Auto was not only the LOWEST QUOTE, BUT THE QUICKEST TURN AROUND TIME AS WELL. Win, again. I spoke to the owner and his wife about my concerns, they walked me through the process, explained in great detail the procedure on their end regarding paperwork, but also the work that would be done and the timeline for the repairs. This made my decision super easy. THEY CAME TO MY HOUSE to pick up my truck, drove separately in their car & my truck from my home in South Orange County (they normally drive together to avoid a long commute/traffic) they sacrificed a couple of long, traffic filled commutes to save me the trip of driving out myself and trying to find a way home. They worked on my truck and had it back to me in 2 days. Delivered to me, looking just as good as when I bought it in 2015. If that is not phenomenal customer service, I don't know what is. Did you get that guys? They came to me! They handled everything from insurance to repairs in 2 days. For a busy mama like myself, this is extremely important. I didn't have to rent/use a rental car (which they also offered to secure, I declined because their service was to be so quick I didn't feel I needed one.) And it was. 2 days, for a major repair of my bumper, the under carriage, broken headlight and paint. 2 frickin days. Yeah, I am sold and will tell everyone I know about this awesome repair shop and it's exceptional service. They are also authorized to work on Tesla's, which I hear is hard to find a repair shop that isn't a Tesla dealer that is going to charge you 2-3 times more for repairs than needed. If you need a high quality, super service, not a rip off price, convenient and FAST repair, Fix Auto in Redlands is your go to. Don't waste time with others. I am a repeat auto detailing customer at Fix Auto in Redlands. I got the $300 bells and whistles detail recently, and wow did they ring the bells and blow the whistles again! I brought my Prius in with seats that were so disgusting that it would be an euphemism to call them embarrassing. But the Fix Auto detailers resurrected them from the darkness and miraculously brought them back into the "like new" light. They did a great job on my car's exterior as well. Everyone (especially the manager Aaron) is friendly and professional there at Fix, and when my seats get bad enough again, I'll return to Fix Auto once again. read more

Last fall our Tesla model 3 was rear ended. The guy that hit the car acknowledged fault. His insurance, AllState did an adjustment right away and recommended that we take our car to Fix Auto in Redlands. Fix Auto gave us an appointment for 11/8/22. We took the car in on 11/8/22. We were told that they would call when the car was ready. We didn't hear from them after after a few weeks so we called them to check status. We were told that they were waiting for parts. AllState limited our rental to 30 days so we asked if we could get the car back since it was still drivable. Fix said we would be notified when the parts came in. We called fix to check status of the parts 12/19/22. They said the parts were not in. I called again January 16, 2023 and ask for an expected time of delivery for the parts. Ralph said he would contact Tesla and call me back. Ralph did not call back by March 2023 so I called again. I was told by Britney that there were no parts needed so I scheduled an appointment to get the car repair for April 3. I took the car back to fix on April 3, 2023. I was then told again, that parts were needed and call back in a couple of days to get an anticipated date for work completion. After a number of calls I was told on 4/11/23 that the repair was complete. Ralph said he needed to submit a supplemental to AllState and I should be able to pick up the car on 4/12/23. We received a text message 4/12/23 saying the car was ready for pick up. My daughter took my husband to up the car that afternoon. When they arrived they were told that Allstate didn't approve the supplemental and they would give us our car back. This went on for days. We contacted AllState. I talked with Lacey the Mgr and they continued to hold our car for ransom. Finally on April 17th the hostage was released. Fix auto is not a very professional business from my perspective. They do not return calls or do any follow up and they take way too long to complete the work (it took more than 5 months) The worst part was being stressed out terribly when they held our car hostage after the work was finally done. When we lived in CA, my 17 yr old daughter was at school parking and one of her fellow classmates thought it would be funny to honk at her and scream at her while she backed into her parking space. Of course it caught her off guard and she hit her gas pedal instead of her brake pedal and hit a concrete pillar that was recently added to the parking lot to support the newly installed solar panels. She came home super upset and explained what happened. I didn't think much of it, as it was just small gouges and scratches on the bumper and a complete accident on her part. Honestly, I was thankful that she was okay. The car really didn't need the work, but I wanted to restore the car so my daughter didn't have a constant reminder of the eye sore. I had heard about a couple that lived in my neighborhood that did great work and the best part was they would come by the house for the estimate! Even better yet, if they did the work, they would come pick up the car and drop it off after the job was completed. The price was right, so we went ahead with the job in July 2020. Jennifer kept me in the loop the whole time my vehicle was in the shop and Aaron and his crew did a great job fixing my car. It was done in a few days, so we had our car back in a reasonable amount of time. I could not have been happier with their technical service/repair and their above-and-beyond customer service! We took our Prius for a major body repair to this location. They fixed the damaged areas and even were kind enough to drive the car to a friend's house for us to pick up later. When we took a car back we realized that the driver window is not working right and makes a noise going up and down. We called them multiple times and they said the owner will call back and the reason the window does not work right is that they used a used door and had noticed the problem too. I asked why they did not do anything about that and why they installed a defective door? They said the owner will call you back to explain. He never did. We followed up again and he did not return our call. I would have given them 5 stars had they fixed the door. But they don't seem to care. First and foremost, I wanted to start this off by saying that 90% of the companies who exist in this category of service are more interested in ripping you off than taking care of the problem. It's more about getting the fees and getting rid of you asap than listening and then evaluating what would be the best plan of attack to get things done. So, for my wife and I to use Fix-Auto, a company which is 45 miles away from where we live, they must be "All That," and then some. My wife had a bit of mental trauma with her new Jaguar F-Pace about 2 weeks into the "Honeymoon Phase," of ownership when she kissed another car with her bumper. Needless to say, she and I were less than happy since the process after something like this usually is a horror show. Thankfully, Aaron and Jennifer who are the owners made the process completely painless. They defined the problem over the phone and after reviewing pictures that we sent, they came up with a quote that was more or less awesome. They worked with my wife to get the car out there and have it back in an expedited time frame which for a working person is part of the grief. No problems there at all. People need to understand just how much of a psychological process this is in order to appreciate how a company can wreck the experience or make it less stressful depending on their bedside manner and their pricing structure. I also wanted to make a point that they use a Text Info System that updates you on your car status. If anyone has ever played the phone game trying to get updates on things, they will appreciate this. It makes other places look like they are using paper airplanes to send messages. I would 100% recommend Fix-Auto unless you live somewhere like Florida since getting it out to Redlands would be a problem. They will make you feel like you are their #1 client from start to finish. read more
