It's a simple order, grab your food, and go spot, so there are no tables or seating. It was clean inside, though. Food: 5 stars. This is probably the best cheesesteak in this area of Maryland. The meat was actually seasoned and still juicy, and you can see that in my photos. It was piled onto a toasted roll with grilled onions, and the Cooper Sharp cheese brought up the rear and took the flavor to the next level. Every bite was flavorful. If I'm ever in the area again, I'm coming back.

The restaurant itself is pretty small, with only two tables for those who want to sit and eat, so this is definitely more of a grab-and-go spot. They also make homemade cheesecake, but the crown jewel is clearly the cheesesteak. I'd give it a 7.5/10. It's a solid sandwich and definitely good enough to give some Philly and New Jersey cheesesteaks a run for their money, although I wouldn't quite put it in the top tier yet. The service wasn't exactly top-notch during my visit, but the staff did at least smile, which counts for something! Overall: 7.5/10. Worth checking out if you're in the area and looking for a good cheesesteak, especially if you want to judge the hype for yourself.

This is actually the speediest McDonald's that I've been to (this location puts my local Mickey D's to shame). Finally, a fast food joint that knows how to expedite (and with accuracy)... just when I was beginning to lose faith in fast food franchises. The restaurant is generally clean, but tables could've been a little cleaner. Some "cleaned" tables were streaky, there was a little trash on the floor, seats could've been wiped down, etc. They were tidying up the area and sweeping while I was dining in, so the effort is there. There was steady business on a Saturday night, with plenty of customers also dining in. McDonald's over Wendy's.

A little kindness and professionalism go a long way, especially when a customer has already spent over $40 on an order. The food quality was also below average this time. Chicken was overly spicy, and the coleslaw was dry and seemed to have little to no mayo. I called about the quality, the Manger did not care and refused to give the district number. I've been recovering from recent health issues and honestly did not have the energy for this level of unnecessary stress over something so small. Policies are fine, but there's no reason to treat people poorly while enforcing them. I've escalated the issue to corporate. THIS SHOULD NOT BE NORMALIZE and a known REP of this location. its a huge inconvenience. It costs nothing to be kind. I will not order from here till professional changes been made. After shopping at the Arundel Mills, My family stopped by this location to enjoy some classic burgers and fries The decor was just like any five guys. Clean and simple, spacious and entrance from both front and back of the building! The place was busy at the time but staff did a great job in handling the line very quickly. which is always a plus for people grabbing and go This is my 3rd time eating at five guys and it did not fail me again. The burgers were just melting with cheese and it literally melts in your mouth! The fries were crispy and delcious. Just loved everything about it. Only downside was that they forgot to put jalapenos on my burger!!! Because everything else made up for it, i was okay and did not complain too much about it. Staff were very friendly from beginning to the end. Excellent service and Excellent food. Will be back when im in town read more

I've always liked Five Guys for their fresh burgers and fries, but this visit completely ruined it for me. I ordered a regular cheeseburger and halfway through, I found what looked like a long hair mixed in with the food. It was incredibly off-putting and completely unacceptable for a place that prides itself on quality and cleanliness. When I brought it to the staff's attention, they seemed more embarrassed than apologetic, and I didn't feel like the situation was handled professionally. I left without finishing my meal. Sadly, the Red Robin in Waugh Chapel in Gambrills closed and is becoming a First Watch. I went to that location about equal amount as the Columbia location, but now that Gambrills is a First Watch, I'll never go as I have a First Watch in Laurel only 4 miles from my home and also like the location by my girlfriend's house. So, I think it's weak Waugh Chapel Red Robin closed for a First Watch. Experiences at Columbia location: I've been a few times to the Columbia location over the years often my birthday month to redeem my free birthday burger (with purchase), but also on some non-birthday months too. I used to often get the Royal Red Robin burger, but stopped eating pork (bacon), so I'd be getting shortchanged by getting that without one of the main ingredients. So, in recent years, my most common is the Sauteed Shroom burger, but also gotten Whiskey BBQ & others including the smashed burgers too. Every burger I've had has been excellent here. Besides the great burgers, if I could summarize Red Robin in two words, it's "Bottomless Fries". I enjoy their thick cut fries and take advantage of getting unlimited fries even though I need unlimited fries like a hole in my head, but they are tasty and not like I go there every week or even every month, more like an average of twice a year with an equal split between Columbia & Gambrills, but now that Gambrills is closed, Columbia will be 95% of any business for Red Robin. Customer service has generally been good here with friendly staff. Most recently I was with my girlfriend to redeem my birthday deal on the 1st of the month as I had to frontload birthday deals as I had major surgery on the 9th of that month. So, 2026 was the worst birthday month of my life. I went with my girlfriend one or two other times to Columbia one. Other times I've been by myself to redeem birthday burger or maybe some other deal. And I'd get into some conversation like I'm getting dinner before my movie at AMC Columbia or whatever on my AMC A-List, and the server & I would talk about what movie I was going to be seeing, movies out in general, & movie recommendation. One time in a prior company in 2016, a group of us went to lunch for work. We used my rewards account, and it automatically discounted one of the burgers from the group check, which was annoying because that was supposed to be my reward to use for a free burger when I would've been paying. I didn't realize it until it was too late. But the burger was great and service was per usual. In summary, always a good experience here and look forward to another visit to Red Robin.

My last 3 of 5 reviews are in this huge shopping center as I reviewed Catherine's restaurant from my recent visit; see my Thursday, 4/9 3-star of them. I've been living in Russett for 5.5 years and have been going to this Chick Fil-A sometimes. In fact, I went yesterday for lunch! I had a free sandwich & free brownie and bought medium waffle fries. That's one of the positives of CFA in general is the company & even this specific location will try freebies my way. I generally buy something to be nice. They will throw a free breakfast sandwich. I'll add egg (& sometimes cheese too) to the free chicken biscuit to bulk it up a bit. Very rare I've taken the time to buy a chicken biscuit; almost always get on the freebie. Generally, I'm by far the most likely to go at lunch, much less common at dinner. In 2021 I used to go to CFA more frequently as I like the customer service & food. However, in more recent years I've shyed away from CFA due to health consideration. While the CFA sandwich is delicious, there are a lot of random ingredients, which is a bit unsettling. So, that is a consideration. It's tasty, but can be dry in the middle. I got the grilled chicken sandwich before, but it's pretty bland. I've gotten salads before, but they are kind of overpriced for what you get. If I'm getting a salad, I'm far more likely to go to the Panera here in Corridor Marketplace. I've gotten the nuggets but generally do if it's free. Unlike the grilled chicken sandwich, the grilled nuggets are decent, but still the fried nuggets are superior. Also, their new mac n' cheese is surprisingly good too. Even when they are busy, they are efficient getting orders through both in the restaurant & the drive-thru. A bit of a negative is that CFA drive-thru causes some extra traffic on the shopping center road, but it shows it's a popular option. I visited this location at least once prior to living in Russett. On December 31, 2019, I was at my office in Columbia and had work travel to DC that afternoon. Normally, I would never take 295 and just take 95 down to 495 to 295 into DC, but Starbucks was running a promotion for a free drink at select locations for last few days of 2019. I saw on 12/31/19, the Starbucks next door was on the list, and I was like I'll go 95 to 32 to 295 to get to DC with the stop off MD-198 to get the free Starbucks. That day I had Chick Fil-A for lunch getting the chicken sandwich & chicken noodle soup as I was recovering from a cold. Their soup isn't great but ok, I'd recommend Panera in the same center for soup. I went to my local CFA with my girlfriend a couple of times. It's an easy and cheap option, but I'm far more likely to have CFA for lunch on my own when working from home on a weekday. The couple of times with my girlfriend were on Memorial Day Monday 2025 and another Saturday in 2025. Never on a Sunday as everyone famously knows They're Closed!...so Don't even think about going there on a Sunday, or you will be sorely disappointed. A former coworker in 2012 commented how he never gets CFA because every time he's craving CFA, it's a Sunday. Another noteworthy time I went was in January 2023 on a 2nd date. I wanted to go cheap as she was kind of annoying on the 1st date but she seemed interested in me, and she was a nice person, and I wanted to invite her to my place for whatever picking a cheap restaurant close to my home. Ultimately, in baseball terms, it was a 2B situation, and I didn't have any heart to pursing a 3rd date after all as it wasn't going anywhere anyway. Also, their Peppermint Shake during the holiday season is great! I try to get once a year. Their sweet tea & lemonade is solid too. In summary, Chick Fil-A has a nice staff. The food is mostly good with their yummy chicken sandwiches, chicken biscuits, & waffle fries. Salads are good. Some items are a bit weaker but nothing is bad. Also, the mac n' cheese is pretty solid. I used to get the yogurt parfait which was good, but it was a ripoff at some point in 2020's, so I stopped. Early 2020's, I ate there more, but a big negative by 2022 was that I needed to lose weight, and Chick Fil-A is pretty unhealthy with all the random ingredients, but it's still more good than bad considering great tasting food & nice staff.

When I realized I wouldn't be able to pick up by noon, I called and changed the pickup time to 2pm. I still wasn't back in the area by then. A kind young lady called me to confirm if I was still picking up my order around 4pm, while I was en route. When I arrived, the restaurant was sparkling clean. I dined inside and discovered they have free refills on the fountain drinks. The house-made strawberry lemonade is 100/10. Just get it! I tried the regular house-made lemonade and it didn't taste as good. The sandwiches were actually tasty. Mine only had protein of choice, lettuce and mayo. However, the bread was fresh and soft. The inside fillings were stacked amply. Both meals cost only $1.26!!! Can't beat this deal. It was worth driving to experience this little gem for the very first time.

J is for Jimmy John's:…read more Or JJ for short. Been to this Jimmy John's many times as it's the closest to my home and most overall experience. They are always friendly, fast, & have tasty subs. My g/f had never been to a Jimmy John's, and we went to this location for her 1st time on Saturday, April 12 for an early lunch. As I had a deal to try their new toasted subs. I got a roast beef & cheddar. It was delicious in spite of the toast looking a bit well done. My g/f got one of their favorites, and the cashier asked if she wanted it toasted, which she said yes. So, now it's an option for all subs, not just the new specialty subs. My g/f is a fan of Jimmy John's too now. Also, it's clean (including restrooms) & a comfortable environment.
