The food here is incredible and so is the service!! Every time I'm in town I make it a priority!

The food is good, but the way they advertise their bowls is very misleading. The bowls on the menu screens look full and generously portioned, but what you actually receive is about half of what they show. I even paid extra for double protein, and my bowl was still underwhelming. For almost $20, the portion size just isn't worth the price. I expected much better value. read more

He was crushing the service last time we were there- super welcoming, kind, and attentive. My whole family loves the food here. There is plenty on the menu to make everyone happy. The kids stir fry is pricey especially because my kids don't like any of the free toppings, so we end up spending extra for just noodles with one cheese topping and a sauce, but they always crush it and we love that it comes with juice and grapes too. I love the build your own stir fries and salads. I like that you can choose multiple bases for the salad. The shrimp is better than you would expect from a fast casual spot. read more

I stopped by honeygrow for the first time after a long morning of shopping and wanted something quick before heading home to cook later. I ordered a kids meal online, it came with a drink and grapes, and got egg white noodles with chicken, bell peppers, carrots, and red coconut curry sauce. My order was ready pretty quickly, which was a plus. The setup is mostly self-service, with several kiosks at the front for ordering, and there's plenty of seating if you decide to dine in. The restaurant looked clean overall, including the bathrooms, just make sure you lock the door (learned that the hard way ). As for the food, it came nicely packaged in a takeout-style carton and was hot and fresh. Unfortunately, the flavor didn't quite hit for me. The chicken tasted under-seasoned, and the sauce didn't add as much flavor as I expected. I'm not sure I'd come back for the noodles, but I might return to try the desserts. read more

Tried Honeygrow for the first time after hearing about it as an up and coming healthy fast casual spot. I loved the self service kiosks and the employees behind the counter were very nice. I was overwhelmed at first by all the options in the self service, as you can build your own thing or choose the various standard menu items. But, it's a pretty cool service model. If you choose for here, they bring you the food to your table which is a nice touch to the service. We got the Red Curry (but did not customize it very much) and the garlic butter chicken. The Red curry wasn't the best - it had an unexpectedly strong citrus taste that did not complement the coconut curry flavor. The noodles were also pretty tough. The garlic butter chicken was slightly better. If I had to try them again I would go for the salad or something very straight forward and not a twist on a popular dish. read more

I went to honeygrow like 9 years ago maybe in Arlington and thought it was solid, better than Sweetgreen. Visited this location twice with my g/f. The 1st time going was the night of Sunday, December 8 for a light dinner of salad with chicken, mushroom, edamame, chickpeas, candied walnuts, & croutons with caesar dressing. This was incredibly good for being just a salad. The 2nd time going here was on Saturday, January 4. I had earned a $3 off $15 order from my 1st visit in December. We were coming off the holidays including a sort of new years party the night before, which re-inflated my weight. We got a late lunch of just a salad, kind of basic. But it was flavorful & delicious. You go to the screen and add whatever ingredients you want on your salad. It labels what upcharges are. Wow, I was amazed by how delicious this salad was. I had just gotten mushrooms, edamame, & croutons; no chicken. Staff was nice and relatively quick getting our order done. Also, in March I went to the Columbia location and the noodles are incredible and even more superior than the salad...wow. I highly recommend honeygrow and will be back. read more

After flying into BWI my husband and I wanted something quick yet healthy to eat before heading to our destination. We stumbled upon honeygrow, which is located inside the Safeway shopping center. The restaurant was spacious with several tables to dine in and a couple of tables outside. Everything was clean including the restroom. We arrived on a Thursday afternoon and the place was crowded with many patrons waiting for their orders. There were numerous self ordering kiosks. The kiosks were user-friendly and allowed you to customize your order. I can't come to Maryland without getting crab in all my meals so my husband and I both chose the Chesapeake Bay crab stir fry. His base was brown rice and mine was curly Kale. The veggies tasted fresh. The crab mixture was not really good but wasn't bad either. I was surprised that the portions were so small since the price was so high. You have the option of adding ingredients for an extra fee to the already high price. Our meals satisfied our appetite since we were looking for quick and healthy. I would not go out of my way to come back here. read more

So service was limited to the nice guy behind the counter handing me my food. I got the sesame garlic stir fry and I love the sauce, the noodles and overall flavor. I added crispy onions which were great. The roasted steak was just okay and I wish there was more broccoli and the scallions were almost nonexistent. My husband got the sweet soy five spice with turkey meatballs and my bites of this were just okay. While the green beans and meatballs were okay, I didn't think the bowl was all that cohesive. On my quest to try out and review many different restaurants, I took the opportunity to get honeygrow for dinner yesterday. I had just left the gym so I wanted a high protein meal for the gains! I ordered using one of the touchscreens they have and that was easy to use. My order was called within 5 minutes and came in a cool Chinese food container. The garlic butter chicken stir fry noodle dish was really good. I loved the spice and the overall flavor combination of the dish. I ordered to go by the restaurant was very clean inside and I could see myself eating in on my next visit. All orders are done on a self-serve kiosk and you can enter your personal info to become a rewards member. We got the stir fry, which you could choose from a variety of premade options or you could create your own as described: The base, which consisted of various noodles and rice, next, protein (chicken, shrimp, tofu, bacon, which are an additional cost) followed by add-ins (assortment of veggie options such as onions, carrots, cilantro, broccoli, etc.); cheese (blue, parm, feta); garnish such as lime, crispy onions, candied pecans, etc.; and finally the sauce, which gave you a few options. Honeygrow is always a good choice no matter the location. This is my third time eating from this particular location. First time I ate in. Second time was to-go. This time I ordered online and had a friend pick it up. Other than being giving the wrong food on my second trip and not finding out it was incorrect until hours later, I have no complaints. Just as I'm getting ready to leave the area, they decide to put a honeygrow right in the Arundel Mills area. Since they opened, I've been there twice. The first time, I got the sesame garlic noodles with steak. The second time, I got the Chesapeake crab stir fry and an apple pie honeybar. To order, you place your order at one of the kiosks. They will call your name when it's ready. I didn't have much interaction with the staff, but they have mostly been friendly and helpful. This type of place is certainly my jam. This was my first visit to this new to the area restaurant. It was formerly Panera Bread before it moved to a new location. I have been anticipating the opening of this restaurant, as this was my first time trying Honeygrow. When I walked in, the place was crowded. I felt a little overwhelmed because of the crowd and it was my first time, so I kind of stood back to survey the process before proceeding. As a newbie, it would have been nice to see some directionals, signage or perhaps have the greeter provide direction for newcomers. Needless to say, it didn't take me long to realize that the kiosk stations located along the serving station was where the process begins. The kiosk process was pretty standard and easily navigated once the feeling of not knowing dissipated. It appeared that after you decide on a dish, each add-in is extra. Because I wanted big flavors, I added a host of add-ins. The other nice feature is that you order and pay at the kiosk and wait for your order to be ready, so there is limited to no interaction with staff. I received a text message when my order was ready for pickup. I ordered the Chesapeake Crab stir fry. It was just okay and really what I anticipated for a fast food crab dish. I'll have to look online for a menu and choose something different next time. I saw so much online hype about the dish that I ordered; I felt compelled to try it. Personally, the dish did not do enough for me flavor wise to solidify Honeygrow in a position as a regular, on-the-go restaurant featuring healthier food options. Was in the neighborhood and got lucky seeing that Honeygrow was open (looks like it officially opened 5/23/2023). The decor is all brand new, clean, and welcoming although it looks like it would also be a popular spot to get carryout or doordash/grubhub orders from. Ordering is done via a self-service kiosk that lays out all the different combinations you can build (with a large selection of pre-made items as well). To be honest, I don't know how well somebody who is less tech-literate would be able to order, but I would assume the staff would be willing to help at that point. Building your own order seems pretty straightforward. It looks like once you exceed two options for toppings, any additional get a premium (I believe it was 0.59/each) afterward. I ordered a rice noodle bowl with shrimp and a handful of toppings and the sesame ginger sauce lightly mixed in. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they aren't skimping out on the shrimp quantity and everything was delicious. The staff also seemed welcoming and very friendly, which is bittersweet because the self-service kiosks work so well that you don't really have to interact with the staff as much. All in all, positive experience and I heard more are opening up, so hopefully they're up to the same par as this location. read more

Had shrimp ceasar and chicken cobb salads. Salads are good, though a bit expensive for what you get. Had to ask for another dressing as the dressing servings are small. The mistake we made was to try to eat outside as it's so cold inside the dining area. Bring a jacket. Outside cars constantly park curbside in the firelane for their pickup, so the smog adds to the ambiance. And the REALLY REALLY LOUD and RUDE non customer sitting behind us really made the experience worthwhile. Can you detect the sarcasm? So, like the food, didn't like the ambiance. read more
