What a treat! I stopped by Prinos on Saturday afternoon to catch up with a friend. The dining area has a cozy, cafe-style setup (open and not cramped; some booths would have been a nice touch). You order at the counter and pick up your food when it's ready. We ordered soup and salad, which came with pita bread and a turkey burger, but the burger didn't include fries, which was a little disappointing. The salad was fresh, and the soup was packed with flavor. There's just something about dining at a family-owned restaurant, and you could tell the regulars because the matron was all smiles and dispensing hugs Babuška style. I was pleasantly surprised by the pizza, service, and ambience at Prino's. I stopped by after shopping at Arundel Mills for a slice. The family owned Prino's replaced a small chain pizzeria (Squisito's, I think). Fully expecting the mediocre Squisito's I was willing to give Prino's a try. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the place and how organized it seemed. The interior was reminiscent of what I envisioned a Mediterranean-themes restaurant would be. I was greeted by the owner who was cheerful and warm. She answered my questions and told me the pizza crust was her father's recipe, and it promised to be exquisite. I asked for two slices of good ole' cheese pizza. Unfortunately, they do not sell slices, but I was offered their small pizza for under $9 and it could be ready in six Dougie Fresh minutes. Sold! Prino's ought to be proud of its pizza crust! The pizza, overall, was good. The crust of the pizza was excellent. It reminded me of fresh crusty bread produced by an artisanal bakery. The tomato sauce was flavorful and was topped by a nice salty cheese. It seemed to be mozzarella or a blend. Adding some provolone to the mix (or more/or sharper) would have put it over the top, in my opinion. I definitely would recommend the pizza and plan on returning to try other menu items. The dessert case was filled with amazing treats, including gluten free options. Five stars for great service, excellent pizza crust, immaculate interior cleanliness, and solid price-to-taste value ratio. read more

We've found our gyro spot! I've visited this place twice and have not been disappointed. It's a cute little place fast casual spot near Arundel Mills. The staff is friendly and attentive. I've only ordered gyros and fries but will try more menu items soon. The menu is pretty comprehensive and the desserts look delicious. I have been eating at Prinos for years. The family is amazing. The food is amazing and phenomenal. That previous review about someone rolling their eyes was ridiculous. That person obviously has mental health issues and is probably unstable. This is the most kind amazing warm family owned business that I have ever experienced and I am the person who turned around instead the and that's how she found out so I'm kind of sorry I did that. This happened 1:00PM-1:30PM 8/6/26. My husband walks up second in line and I can see 3 employees at the prep table and my husband says hello. They all roll their eyes and one woman walks over. She is the only person we speak to during this baffling encounter. She takes our order and walks away as my husband attempts to pay with cash visibly in hand. He stood there for a moment as she began a conversation with another she stated "It's ready for you" (referring to the card reader). He asked with cash still in hand if she will accept cash then she rolls her eyes and finally completed the transaction. Then I take my niece to the bathroom which is locked with a security code, and go back out to ask for it in line. She says "245 enter." I hadn't realized she was speaking to me when she said, pointed and impatiently "Two Four Five And Enter". I attempted the code on both restrooms, it doesn't work after a few tries. I attempted to wait in line again to ask for assistance, she rolls her eyes in my direction but was attending other customers. My niece asked me to please take her to another store in desperation, so I did. Once I got my niece settled, I told my husband to ask to get the food to go. We did get it packed up and my husband asked for the rude woman's name. She said "Oh I don't have a name, just Prino's, I'm the owner." Another person said just as we left her name is Sophia. She has dark hair and a bad lip filler. It's a shame as we did order from this place a few times previously but in person not only was the service bad, several aspects of the food were stale and bland today. read more

The GOAT Pizza here is well-deserving of its name (greatest of all time): the ingredients were well-balanced, from the balsamic to the feta. The pita from the lamb gyro felt like biting into a cloud. I liked the slight spice on the fries, nice little twist next to the sweet ketchup. We tried the Greek salad as well and all the vegetables were fresh and properly crunchy. Service was quick and friendly. They have a few high top tables and mostly low top tables for groupings of 4-6 people. It was clean and well-cared for overall. This may have been the first time we visited Prino's but it won't be the last. My husband and I shared Kalamari and enjoyed every last bite. Perfectly cooked with an amazing light and tasteful coating. I sampled his lamb chops and they were exceptionally well done. Would like that recipe. And no joke, that was the best gyro I've ever eaten. I was full after a little more than half and asked my husband to finish it. He was full and only intended a bite. I had my first gyro here and it didn't disappoint. I had just finished a workout with my friend and needless to say, we came with big appetites. I ordered the chicken gyro special and enjoyed every component. The fries were slightly crispy on the outside and perfectly fluffy on the inside. As soon as I saw that item on their menu, the jury was out. I ordered a Dubai crepe along with an MYO pizza with chicken gyro and lamb gyro meat. The pizza is one of the better pizzas in the area, for sure. It's a little oily, but just enough--not greasy at all. The ingredients are fresh, the dough is light. Heck, the whole pizza is light! It'll fill you up, but you won't feel weighted down at all. Now the Dubai crepe; it's worth the hype. The crepe is nice and light, and they don't skimp on the chocolate, pistachios, or the pistachio drizzle. Inside the crepe is light shredded filo dough pieces to add a light crunch to the dish. After driving for 6 hours I stopped here for some pizza as directed by google, but did not realize they do not sell slices. I asked if I could use the bathroom as I was driving alone for so long and was desperate. I can't believe was told by female worker/owner "you have to be a customer and order and pay first (full pie) but you can go to Five Guys next door." Never in my entire life have I been refused use of facilities at place right off the highway or anywhere. Why locate here and then be nasty to travelers? So rude given my intention really was to place an order. And had I been able to relieve myself would have realized then calmer that they had a sandwich menu and smaller bites besides pizza. But the coded lock on the door was just the straw that got me to write this. There was not a single other person in the restaurant besides me and the counter lady, so she could have been kind but chose to be a jerk. Place is not fancy or nice, and looks like a cheap slice place, so why not sell slices! Or just be kind. And now I realize it is family owned and the owner works the counter, so yah owner is not sympathetic; i hope she suffers from incontinence and Karma. read more

This.place.right.here. It's an absolute gem and I LOVE Mediterranean food so this place honestly takes the cake. I was so happy to have something so close to my hotel (walking distance). I got the Greek gyro, green fries and hummus. I love feta so these fishes were perfect! The feta in the green fries were creamy. It is slightly bland, but a sprinkle of salt and some hot sauce is the perfect combo for this. Had a chicken bowl with lettuce base and the chicken was old crusty and dry. The order was wrong for the extras and no option for dressing. Order taker had an attitude and the bathrooms are locked with combo locks that have to be enter in a certain way. Very disappointing experience. Response to management comments I have no issue with an honest response but this is patently false. I left much of the crusty dry chicken on the tray and left the tray on the table so it would be seen. Also I was made to feel dumb for not know how their door combo locks work. Who even has combo locks on bathroom doors? Same attitude when I asked for dressing for the dry lettuce. And yes I ate the rest, it cost $13 and I hadn't eaten all day. Tzatziki is a topping not a dressing. But please don't apologize, justify your poor behavior. read more

Love the selections and the offerings ordered the crab fries the goat pizza which you must try and a customize bowl which had shrimp and lamb delicious.
