Chicken souvlaki
Gloria M.

The service at Prino's was great and the restaurant is clean but I was disappointed with the chicken souvlaki pita. It had no flavor, the chicken was bland as was the sauce inside.

I was pleasantly surprised by the pizza, service, and ambience at Prino's. I stopped by after shopping at Arundel Mills for a slice. The family owned Prino's replaced a small chain pizzeria (Squisito's, I think). Fully expecting the mediocre Squisito's I was willing to give Prino's a try. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the place and how organized it seemed. The interior was reminiscent of what I envisioned a Mediterranean-themes restaurant would be. I was greeted by the owner who was cheerful and warm. She answered my questions and told me the pizza crust was her father's recipe, and it promised to be exquisite. I asked for two slices of good ole' cheese pizza. Unfortunately, they do not sell slices, but I was offered their small pizza for under $9 and it could be ready in six Dougie Fresh minutes. Sold! Prino's ought to be proud of its pizza crust! The pizza, overall, was good. The crust of the pizza was excellent. It reminded me of fresh crusty bread produced by an artisanal bakery. The tomato sauce was flavorful and was topped by a nice salty cheese. It seemed to be mozzarella or a blend. Adding some provolone to the mix (or more/or sharper) would have put it over the top, in my opinion. I definitely would recommend the pizza and plan on returning to try other menu items. The dessert case was filled with amazing treats, including gluten free options. Five stars for great service, excellent pizza crust, immaculate interior cleanliness, and solid price-to-taste value ratio.

Came here for a DoorDash order and came right back to get a s Personal size of the supreme pizza ..... it was so good .... Did not disappoint . Still nice for carry out or dine in. They have so many items to choose from but looks like everyone loves the pizza as well bcus those dining in were eating it too. Great sized parking lot.

This quiet relaxed eatery was recommended. This was of course my first experience here. Seemingly friendly atmosphere. The menu has an array of dishes/meals to choose from. What I ordered was not a heavy meal; rather light but satisfied my hunger. The falafal was a bit spicy. I would try this eatery again if in the area.

GOAT Pizza
Eunice M.

The GOAT Pizza here is well-deserving of its name (greatest of all time): the ingredients were well-balanced, from the balsamic to the feta. The pita from the lamb gyro felt like biting into a cloud. I liked the slight spice on the fries, nice little twist next to the sweet ketchup. We tried the Greek salad as well and all the vegetables were fresh and properly crunchy. Service was quick and friendly. They have a few high top tables and mostly low top tables for groupings of 4-6 people. It was clean and well-cared for overall. We will be back to try some more of these awesome flavors.

The Real Greek Chicken Gyro Hand Cut Greek Fries

I had my first gyro here and it didn't disappoint. I had just finished a workout with my friend and needless to say, we came with big appetites. I ordered the chicken gyro special and enjoyed every component. The fries were slightly crispy on the outside and perfectly fluffy on the inside. I can't finish writing this review without mentioning how nice our cashier was! She was so welcoming and patient with us. We decided to eat in and couldn't help but dance to the music while we ate. If you want to experience Greece from Hanover, go to Prino's!

Dubai crepe!!!
Aron S.

If you're looking for a great, nice, easy on the eyes local Greek eatery, Prino's Mediterranean Grill is it. Prices are good, place is clean, the employees are nice. I had one lamb dish initially, and it was a little dry. However I decided to give Prino's another shot, especially since I saw they had a Dubai crepe. As soon as I saw that item on their menu, the jury was out. I ordered a Dubai crepe along with an MYO pizza with chicken gyro and lamb gyro meat. The pizza is one of the better pizzas in the area, for sure. It's a little oily, but just enough--not greasy at all. The ingredients are fresh, the dough is light. Heck, the whole pizza is light! It'll fill you up, but you won't feel weighted down at all. Now the Dubai crepe; it's worth the hype. The crepe is nice and light, and they don't skimp on the chocolate, pistachios, or the pistachio drizzle. Inside the crepe is light shredded filo dough pieces to add a light crunch to the dish. Again, it's super light, won't weight you down. But damn it's delicious. So good that I ate it with enthusiasm.

This is the DUBAI CHOCOLATE CREPE! You won't regret giving it a try! It has just the right amount of sweetness. Not to overwhelming.

When I say I absolutely love this place!!!! I stumbled on this place one day looking for a place for my son to eat. The family that owns the restaurant is sooooo welcoming!!! The mom is a jewel, so much so I asked if I could be one of their daughters. The food is amazing. Everything was made to order. Everything came out nice and hot. The restaurant was so clean especially with the amount of people coming in and out. But, one thing you have to try when you go there is their DUBAI CHOCOLATE CREPES!!!! Mouth watering!!!!

Souvlaki Platter
Misty J.

Pretty delicious! I was running work errands and got super hungry so I decided to check this plate out. Very friendly service! Food was yummy! The restaurant is spacious and has plenty of room for you to dine in, which I did. I ordered the chicken souvlaki platter which came with the 2 chicken skewers, rice, bread, and salad! The Greek dressing was very good! They also gave me a free drink for submitting a vote for a cat that was in the running for a contest online! Would definitely check them out again!

Chickpea Salad
Jessica O.

I ordered the chickpea salad for dine in. All of the vegetables on the salad were so fresh! That is always a really good sign that they have high standards for the food that they serve. I absolutely loved my salad and they gave me a generous portion of chicken when I decided to add chicken onto my salad. Service was quick. Restaurant was clean.

This place used to be really good when they first opened. Now it's just over priced for frozen veggies dish and small amount of meat. We cook better meals at home. $50 for a new platters they have on menu, you basically paid for fries. The salmon tastes fishy. Sadly We won't be back.

Dubai chocolate pistachio crepe simply amazing!

I was finally in the area and got a chance to go in person and wow, the experience of eating the food fresh there was even better - although I must say this food does travel very well. I wish I caught the young man's name, who was the cashier, but he was great! He was very friendly, just seemed like a good, hardworking kid. I wanted a classic so I just got the gyro platter, the Greek fries and the soup. The soup is so good and reminds me of my favorite Greek place back home in chicago, I used to eat this type of soup every weekend with my family. Ingredients are fresh here and quality is always A1. The Greek fries are my favorite and a guilty pleasure. They are so flavorful and have the best texture. The gyro was also very filling and they really don't skimp out here with their toppings. The calamari was perfectly breaded and crispy. The hummus had a great blend of garlic, parsley, a bit of cayenne and red chili flakes with lemon and paprika. All these ingredients make a plain hummus extra tasty. Our two main entrees consisted of the broiled Atlantic salmon with asparagus and Greek potatoes and the Yero plate containing rotisserie beef and lamb slices serviced over pita, with tzatziki, and salad. The salmon was impressively at the perfect temperature. I thoroughly enjoyed my entire meal. The Yero plate had the best slices of beef and lamb. They were soft and absolutely well prepared. Our dinner was accompanied with two musicians who played lovely traditional Greek songs. The music was not too loud and we were able to have a nice conversation at our table. Service was a tad slow towards the end of our meal. We were seated in the basement and there was a time when not a single server was on the floor. Water service was lacking and odd -- we waited quite some time for a refill and when someone did come, only one of us got the refill when we both needed water! Still, I loved the food and atmosphere. Parking: Plenty in the back of the restaurant.

Cons: The service was not great. They have lots of staff--someone to light the candles, someone to bring the water, someone to take our order, someone to bring out the appetizer, someone to bring out drinks, someone to bring out entrees, etc. But there was very little follow up along the way. Our waters never got filled again. Our server took our drink order right away, but took a long time to come back to take our food order. Despite that, we still got our drinks well after the appetizer came out. The next time we saw the server was when we were done eating. The food should have been better for the price as well. We shared the grilled halloumi cheese appetizer. The cheese was cold by the time it got to us, and the plate came with two small olives--just two. At that point, don't bother. I had the bronzini, which had a good flavor, but was mostly skin. There was very little fish attached to two filets. My wife had the scallops. The entree came with five or six (can't remember exactly) medium-sized scallops. My wife described them as "forgettable," with very little thought to presentation (some of the scallops were laying on their side on the plate. The asparagus was overcooked. Unfortunately we both left still kind of hungry, and definitely put off.

It also included a salad. With two entrees one being the Spitroast Lamb, the other was the Lavraki (Branzino) filet fish. This was my favorite!! Seasoned perfectly with the lemon oil and capers. It also included two desserts. There was a wine sample that went with every meal. So a total of seven different wines. All pretty much on the dry side. With the exception of the wine that went with the desserts. It was called Paleokairiso,2023. That had a slight sweetness to it. I'm actually a semi sweet wine person. So everything paired well with the meals. I would have to pass on all dry wines but I'm always open to the possibilities. This was an enjoyable experience. We don't live in Baltimore but if you live or work nearby. I highly recommend checking them out. Parking was about a block away. For twenty five cents an hour. Also metered street parking available if you can find it. We would not hesitate to attend another event here. It was definitely worth it.
