Yummy food. I have been looking for a "Grill Kabob" alternative here in MD and this place is a good substitute.

Formerly located at the mall in Columbia, this place still serves great Mediterranean food. My go-to favorite is the gyro combo which includes fries and a soda. They serve crispy seasoned fries that are among our favorite. Their chickpeas are also delicious and we often order an additional large side of those with whatever else we are having. Kabob platters have tender, juicy and well-seasoned meats and come with a wonderful seasoned rice and generous salad. Sauces top things off, with the spicy green sauce adding a nice kick to any dish. And not to forget their bread, it's so soft and baked fresh to order. Facility is clean and service is friendly. They are not usually too busy, which is nice since the dining area is small. They do a lot of take-away orders. Definitely recommended for a quick bite if you're in the area and craving some Mediterranean cuisine. read more

Amazing, Amazing, Kabobs! I came here to grab dinner after a long days work, and I'm so glad I did! I got the lamb and chicken kabob, which were tender, flavorful and delicious! The chicken had a curry flavor, and the lamb has a fresh herb flavor. The platter comes with bread, yogurt sauce and Chana peas. I liked dipping the lamb in yogurt sauce and the chicken in the Chana. The counter service is nice and helpful. There are a few tables to dine in and carry out is also available. Overall is a great place for casual, delicious kabobs. I'll be back soon. read more

What a gem! I came here out of the blue and boy am I glad I did. Everything was made extra fresh. I saw them pressing the dough for the bread! The prices extremely fair and service extraordinary. To not bury the lede, cochroaches! Saw one in the dining area just as were were leaving. Argh! That alone makes me not want to go back. I was craving a gyro. Coming from outside Detroit that offers them in many of the coney places, I wanted a little taste of home. Stopped by and grabbed some food from here. It is rather pricey. To feed 3 people it was almost $80. Sticker shock anyone? All the food was good, but far from the best. I'd rate it a 6 or 7 out of 10. Thr one thing they have going for them is everything is made fresh. It does ake a while, so keep that in mind if you're in a hurry. If you can get past the possibility of cochroaches in the kitchen, this is a decent place to eat. read more

Order the Gyro Box and I was amazed. Very flavorful. Meat seasoned well. Fries were seasoned, veggies were fresh and the white sauce really brought the dish together. Customer service was excellent and the decor is modern yet warming. Plenty of seating. My only complaint is the box has the 3 pocket separator. If the box was smooth, everything would be able to mix together easier. Also I wish the meat was chopped into slight smaller pieces, the long strips are a little annoying but easy to cut. read more

The food is good, but I ordered online and when I got there they said I had to order in person, their online ordering was down. I did, waited for the food that I already ordered, thought it was just a one time mistake. Ordered again, same thing, so I started to order in person instead. After about a year, ordered online again, thought they fixed it. Nope. It allowed me to order, complete an other, received a confirmation text, and once again, when I got there, no order. I went to Maiwand down the road instead this time. Employees know online ordering doesn't work, admitted to it, but it still allowed an order through. They suggested contacting management, since it frustrates them too, and said management is aware and it's just always been like that. I contacted management, no response after over a month. They don't seem to care. I don't mind if a company doesn't offer online orders, but why have a website that allows orders to go through. Do Not order online or enter your credit card information, since their online ordering is sketchy and does not work. Food is decent but there are better options for same food close by where management responds to customer (and employee) concerns. Maiwand at Arundel Mills and Ziza Kabob in Jessup have much better food and their online ordering works. read more

First time we came here we tried to come right when they opened. The doors were still locked. An employee saw us but still never unlocked the door. We ended up going next door to tropical smoothie. We came another time since we still wanted to check it out. I got the gyro combo. It was good but I prefer Maiwand Kabob just down the street over here. Much more friendly staff. They asked us if we were eating here or to go. We said here. Everything was still served in to go containers the only difference is that we had to get our own silverware and napkins, etc. Had to ask them for our drink cup since they did not remember to give it to us. read more

I popped in here for a take-out dinner and this place was a winner. Not sure why the haters on here are complaining about the ambiance; the restaurant interior is not boasting up-scale expectations. It's clean, service at the counter is quick, and food takes a little to prepare, but it's also delicious. I got the lamb gyro and a chicken kabob mix platter, which were both carefully packed so I could still enjoy at home. The meats were well cooked and flavorful, no tummy issues afterwards. Side salad was fresh and crunchy; rice was fluffy and well-seasoned. They also have daily plate specials, will be back to try those too. read more

We are regulars at Kabob Connection. The chicken and steak kabobs are consistently tender and well seasoned. The Butter Chicken is super yummy- the kind of yummy you crave and want to visit to satisfy. The red onions and jalapeños compliment the dish so well. We were looking for a quick lunch after traveling and chose this place. We had a dog with us and we're able to sit outside and eat. We all ordered a gyro meal - the gyro itself is extremely large and filling, we could have split one between the two of us. Loved the tzatziki sauce - it ain't as thick as I'm used to but was so flavorful and went well with my chicken gyro and fries. Speaking of fries, they are well seasoned and crispy. We did have to wait about 15 minutes for our food so this may not be the place for you if you're in a hurry but it looks like you can order online and pick up so that might be an option if you need something quick. A great place for lunch or a casual dinner. My spicy ground chicken kabob platter was well cooked and VERY spicy! It came with two skewers, rice, a side salad and very-fresh pita. The rice and pita were wonderful, too. My servers weren't overly friendly, but they were cordial and helpful to me and to the family who came in after I did and didn't know what to order. It's a tiny order-at-the-counter place, and masks are required. The tables are spread apart, and they have hand sanitizer at the counter. Lately I've been feeling kabob these past few days as I stumbled upon Kabob Connection a few days ago. Kabob Connection is a new business location which is across the from Arundel Mills mall. I ordered the beef kabob with extra sumac seasoning and it was amazing. Sumac seasoning has a little tang flavor which derived from sumac berries. You can literally put an abundance of it over food and the taste will never get overwhelming. The staff and the cleanliness of the restaurant is up to standard. The timing of the to-go was reasonable. As for parking, there shouldn't be an issue since there is a big lot. I do advise to double check your togo order if you pick the salad version. I also ordered the chicken kabob salad which I forgot to take the photo, but there was not enough salad in there..Definitely not worth the price to order that again. Other than that, the other entré turned out fine. read more

On the advice of another review, I ordered the gyros. It was a decent meal but tasted nothing like any gyro that I have eaten before. Service was good. This place was so bad, I felt obligated to write a review for the first time in years. The food looked so good in the case and i watched them make the pita. I took the food to go or I would have demanded my money back. The worst kabobs I have ever had. Some of the worst food i have ever had. Not sure what that was all about so I just ordered the cold dish. It turned out more like caponata. Bad caponata. Unfinished. It was definitely not whipped like baba. Not sure it had tahini either. Everything was off in this pal r . The chicken kabob had spices on it and the right color and looked great but no flavor. The ground beef kabob was like cardboard but also liked exactly right. No spice whatsoever. I really wanted to like this place and support a small business but it was relentlessly terrible. The rice was decent I guess. I also got grape leaves. They did not seem to understand when I asked for them so I used the Greek name. Not sure why we had trouble with that when it was on the menu. I've had canned grape leaves that are pretty tasty. Soft, garlicky and flavorful. Canned. So what? They're good. In contrast, the ones from the "connection" were very hard rice wrapped in tasteless plastic like grape leaves. How, how could they be so tasteless? You would really have to try to create blander food. Maybe I'm in the matrix. It looks real but has no taste. Maybe I took the red pill. Or was it the blue? It's all just fake wax fruit. Didn't that happen to Keanu?. Or maybe I am dead and this is some kind of personal purgatory or some serious Greek ironic punishment in Hades or wherever. And then it hit me. Maybe I have Covid. Loss of taste and smell. So I bought an orange and had a shot of Tanqueray. Ok. Mediocre orange and decent gin (though some disagree - again, me not picky). Still had flavor regardless of opinions of merit. Not Covid. Had to be the food. So this review got a little bit away from me. I couldn't help it. Don't stop at the first paragraph. This is a mostly-takeout oriented spot with a small seating area. It's noisy and every time someone comes in, you're at the mercy of the outside weather. The sound of the rolling pin going over the naan dough is quite loud. BUT DON'T LET THAT STOP YOU. The food is really, really good. The spice blend they use on the various combinations of beef, chicken, and lamb - spicy or not spicy - is flavorful and goes perfectly with the protein. The rice is tender and the salad is fresh (for bulk salad versions of fresh). The naan is prepared fresh and is nice if not memorable. They have real gyros too, not the microwave slice crap. Big spinning meat tower and all! A ton of takeout business rolls through here, and that's probably the way to go until / if they get a bigger space. We got one chicken tikka kabob platter and one ground beef kabob platter. It comes with pita, rice, salad, and chickpeas, a very large serving! The pita is HUGE, soft and chewy. The flavors of both the chicken and beef were delicious, although I found the beef a bit salty. The rice was a bit bland but went well with the saltier protein. This is my go to place now on wards for all things kabob. We had a party and ordered most of the dishes from this place and my God everyone loved the food, specially the ground chicken and Lamb chops. The food is reasonably priced and quantity is perfect. The food is juicy, well cooked and delicious. pita bread they serve is big with fresh salad and rice. It takes 10-15 minutes to cook but the wait is totally worth. Five Stars for the service, butter chicken and chicken gyro. The lamb and chicken kabob we got was a little tough/overcooked but great flavor so would definitely give it another try. Butter Chicken was so good we demolished it before I could snap a picture. Even after the chicken was gone we dipped the pita in the sauce until it was wiped clean. Really awesome and a must try.
