Stopped to grab a bite to eat for dinner. It wasnt busy. Thw atmosphere entering was not extremely bland but calm and clean. We ordered the Chicken Kabob that had the an Afgan still rice and spinach, potato samoas and drinks. Its self seating, therefore, we tried to get comfortable seating. The air conditioning vents in the summer seem to have been on blast. Before our food came to the table we had to relocate to feel at ease from the cold. Our food came out hot and as probably expected. It was tasty. The chicken kabobs for my plate was sparse and the veggies were pretty much not grilled seemingly a little (raw). The chicken was seasoned well and not dry. The rice and spinach were of great taste as well. The Samoas were ok as Ive had better at another location. Overall this was not a 5 star location but I will come back as I have gone to the other location in Baltimore City.

Employees at this location of Maiwand Kabob were very friendly and helpful! I got a samosa appetizer, which comes with 6 pieces, and a chicken + chicken kabob platter, which comes with rice, a side salad, and naan. There was so much food for the price! I had a good amount leftover afterwards. There are not too many dine-in tables, but it was not particularly crowded when I visited on a weekday at dinner time, so you can probably get a seat if you want. Make sure to stand in line to place an order and pay before you sit. The staff brings your food out to your table. I will definitely return in the future! The food was amazingly delicious, and the employees left a great impression on me with their friendliness!

If you like kabobs, curry, lamb, etc this is the place for you! Quality ingredients and large portions. Friendly and helpful customer service make this place shine. The ambiance is fast casual but not loud and obnoxious. I first went to Maiwand Kabob in Columbia (their original location), I have been a fan ever since. Congrats to this small business on their expansion. I can also say I have visited many of the new locations and they are fabulous. Definitely worth your time and with such a fair price, I have to recommend them!

Ordered the Wednesday Chicken Jalfarazi and it was delicious. The curry was on the thinner side but was still packed with flavor. Rice was cooked well. Customer service was good as well! Would recommend and get again!

Did an Uber eats order...it was just ok Lamb kebabs were nice, tender meat, good flavor Fries kinda sucked Hummus was surprisingly good, as was bread

This is both the chicken kebab and beef kebab meals, but substituted the rice and salad with the courage, chickpeas, and spinach!

Food is 10 out of 10!!! Every time I come here, the quality and customer service is superb!!! This is definitely a hole in the wall type restaurant and I would encourage people to try it not only for its quality food, but it's affordable prices

Chicken Kabob with Chickpea curry and Naan

My favorite Maiwand Kabob in MD! I come here at least once a week and the food is amazing every single time. My usual order is the chicken kabob with chickpea curry instead of the salad. The chicken is juicy and flavorful while the naan is nice and fluffy. The best part about this place is that they have Sriracha!

I had to make a airport pick up run. The flight was delayed so I stopped to grab a bite to eat. This was my first time so I just decided to just get the day's special which was Lamb Curry. The sauce was too sweet for my liking. To me, it tasted more like the butter chicken sauce than curry. I don't think that meat was cooked in the sauce. It tasted as though the meat was cooked separate and then the sauce was poured over it. Now, the naan was so good. I ended up purchasing another naan and just eating the sauce with the naan.

I got the chicken tikka kabob which was delicious! The rice was well flavored, the salad was fresh, and the chicken was super tender and juicy. A great spot to grab a satisfying meal!

The pumpkin dumplings and pan fried veggie filled dumplings were great as well. I thought my salmon wrap and the chickpea side was ok. Interesting flavors for sure. As for the service, there was always someone filling up our waters and our waiter was very nice checking in every now and then. The only downside of the experience is at the end when the waiter was boxing up all the food for us. Very sweet that they do this but when boxing up my partners food, they only boxed up the rice and they got rid of the lamb that he was looking forward to eating more of later. So that was kind of a disappointment for us. I think if we go again, we would request to box our food ourselves since I'm not sure why they decided to get rid of all of his lamb.

For appetizers, we got Mantwo and Bowlawani- it was absolutely DEMOLISHED. Mantwo is basically afghan dumpling, and the filling was incredible savory and had a meaty texture. The was my favorite appetizer, stuffed with spiced potatoes, lentils, and chives/leeks from what I saw. The dipping sauce of yogurt and mint went amazing with it. For mains, we got the Lamb Lawand and Lamb loin chop. The lamb lawand was this savory rice dish- they served it with mushrooms and a side of beautifully seasoned spinach. It came as a stew that you were able to mix with your rice as you please. As for the lamb loin chop, it was incredibly tender- falling off the bone. Dessert was difficult, as I am deathly allergic to all nuts. My partner got the hazelnut chocolate cake, and from what I heard they rated it very highly. I got the afghan ice cream; the flavor were incredibly unique, with notes of cardamom, saffron and rose water. I usually have a problem with rose water in my desserts, as it ends up tasting overly flowery or soapy, but I think it was executed well. The toppings of dates, mangos, and figs went incredibly well with the flavors of the ice cream. My only complaint was the service being a bit slow, but at the time we went it was incredibly busy, and I don't blame the workers. Otherwise, this was a great place to go to for an elevated meal!
