Delicious food but oddly sweet. I would enjoy a more robust savory sauce. But it was absolutely delicious, I got the Malai Kofta Curry and the dumplings were amazing. A good amount of food for the price. The naan was also warm and fresh, the perfect texture. The samosas were perfect! (2 in an order for 3.99). I also tried their homemade mango lassi which was delicious. Very sweet but a great texture, like a melted ice cream bar. The service was great, very nice and joked with us. I recommend the Vegan Lunch Special priced at $15. It comes with 2 curries (Channa Masala & Palak Paneer) & 1 appetizer (Onion Pakora), served with a huge naan and a good quantity of rice. Everything in the box tasted delicious with plenty of leftovers. Their tandoori chicken was delicious as well but too oily for my liking. The food here is amazing! I was in the mood for Indian and this place came up. Now to step into the place you would not have thought the food would be so good but the reviews, and mine now, are correct about how great their food is. I was lucky enough to go when they had the buffet. I can not remember everything I got to go but the tandoori chicken was outstanding and so was everything else I put into my to go container. Got the Lamb Curry, Basmati Rice and Chickpeas. Lamb Curry could have contained more Lamb, but the curry was seasoned to perfection. Service was great, the lady at the counter was very helpful and offered complementary coffee they have by the buffet. My sister and I arrived at 400pm there was a sign on the front door saying that the buffet ends at 300pm but to our surprise there was food on the buffet. There were customers who were going back and forth to the buffet. I stopped at the counter to ask the young man is the buffet still available. He answered " no it's closed ". Decided to order from here last minute because the reviews looked okay and I was in the area. It's very confusing to find their correct website online, as they have more than one. I found what I thought was it and when I went to do an online order, it took me to Slice. I placed and went to pick up my order and even though there's a sign on the door saying masks required, no one on the inside including the cashier was wearing a mask. I ordered the goat vindaloo and chicken samosas. As I was waiting for my food, I happen to glance at the posted menu right behind and above where the register is. I noticed that each of the items I ordered were $4 more than the restaurants menu price. The chicken samosa are listed $4.99 on the menu but I was charged $8.99. The goat vindaloo is listed as $13.99 on the menu but I was charged $17.99. I even asked the guy behind the register if there prices are different online through Slice and he said "usually only like $1 more". I was starving and just left. I got home, ate and immediately felt sick to my stomach. The food tasted stale. The goat vindaloo barely had any goat in it. I decided to write Slice customer service about the pricing issue because they state on their website that prices listed are the same as the restaurant menu. They wrote me back and said: "The restaurant informed us that those are the prices they have for Slice since they provide discounts for the people ordering online. But they have different prices at their restaurant. They didn't authorize any kind of credit or refund from their end. And without their authorization, we can not do anything from our end." First of all, the staff here are super friendly, they even accommodated me for the wait by letting me sample their vegetable pakora. It was my first time trying this, and I will definitely be back to order some more! I ordered the lamb gyro which comes with a side of fries and a canned drink. My friend had never eaten Indian food before and since I'd never eaten here I was a little nervous that it was his first experience. We both loved it! Personally, I found the sweet one to be an interesting flavor combination. The second time I got the lamb and it was amazing! This place has delicious food! What a find! Ordered delivery from here twice in the past month and both times it was amazing. So far we have tried ~8 different dishes and loved every one. But some of my favorites are: - Lamb Cashew Korma: delicious boneless pieces of lamb in a rich creamy gravy. Most other restaurants fill lamb curries with bones and inedible pieces but the meat here was very tender - Chicken Chablee Kebab: ground chicken with gonger, garlic, onion, and other spices - Malai Kofta: another rich creamy dish with Kofta pieces made out of paneer and vegetables.
