Had been curious about trying this place since I pass it most days when I go to my child's daycare. Overall, not bad. The outside doesn't suggest much, but there is a decent amount of space inside. I ordered takeout, but there was a huge family that filled several tables. The folks at the counter seemed busy, but they got to me after a minute to get me my food. Food - despite the name, this is not what I would call a barbecue takeout place. It is a Pakistani restaurant that is meat-forward, but not exclusively meat dishes. We went for the Mixed BBQ, which had plenty of meat for at least two hungry people, but my wife and two of our children had plenty for dinner one night and lunch the next day. The kebab was nicely spiced ground meat and it was decent on its own but also nice with a spicy green sauce. The chicken tikka was solid. There were also some heavily spiced ground beef patties. Child #1 is vegetarian and got a Lahori Chana and a Palak Paneer. The Chana was pretty standard, nicely spiced chickpeas. The palak paneer was solid with a nice blend of warm spices, but I wouldn't call it spicy. We also tried out an order of Chicken Tikka Masala. It wasn't as bright or creamy as I've gotten at other Indian or Pakistani places. It was still tasty though. A variety of breads to mop it all up, and it was a solid meal. read more

Ordered online twice here. Both times the restaurant was closed when I arrived. Please turn off your online ordering if you are closed in person. It's not acceptable to have someone drive out to pick up food twice and for the place to be closed. To make matters worse, if you order through Toast, you can't refund the order through the user side. The second time I ordered through Seamless and was able to start a refund on my own. read more

We were on vacation and missing the taste of home and searched up pakistani restaurants when we came accross this place. The food was delicious--we tried butter naan and chicken tikka masala for dinner, and their chicken biryani for lunch. Both meals were flavorful and filling. The dine-in space is spacious, and there's plenty of parking available. If you're in the area and craving some authentic desi khana, I'd definitely recommend this place! I visited again today for lunch and had their biryani, chicken korma, and Balochi tikka, which were amazing. The recommended Balochi tikka, in particular, was exceptionally good. Their service was also great, with staff constantly checking on our orders. Lastly, the chai was too good--I loved it. However, I was disappointed that they don't serve water, which is a very basic thing in any restaurant. First they start by taking our orders and forcing us to sit at one large table as they stated that the other tables were reserved then by the time we leave there's no one there let's talk about the food worst food I've had in a while over cooked rice and the burger leaded me to have a rash when I got home after the incident about the reserves tables they proceeded to charge an additional $15 fee like tf and made us wait 45 mins. read more

One of my favorite spots in Catonsville serving up what I've been told is top-tier Pakistani food! I only grab carryout but dine in is possible. My go-to is the BBQ mixed grill, which is an excellent value for the money. You get a little bit of everything for only $27 (as of this writing). It's enough to feed a family or, for an individual, to have leftovers for several days. The food is just spicy enough to provide a bit of a kick but it's not excessive and dominating. We found this place through google and are we glad that we did. The food quality and taste is just awesome. The portions are quite enough for one person. The owner is very customer focused and also the cook as well. I ordered beef chapli kabab, thinking that I will probably need to order some more because it may not be enough for me, well, I was wrong. Before ordering, I asked the owner if two kababs will be enough for me, and his response was "honestly, I cant finish them myself", and he was right. The kabab "patty" was pretty decent size and it would have been enough for me, but since I didnt take his word for it, I over ordered. Of course if you have eaten at restaurants in Pakistan you will not find the taste as authentic to the real deal, but you are not in Pakistan. In this area, I think his kababs taste the best, unless you want to drive over to Springfield VA area, then there will be some competition to BBQ Tonite. But in the immediate area, I will certainly recommend this place for the food. We just found this place this spring, and we have already been there twice, third time visit will soon be due. The restaurant and washrooms were impeccably clean, and the food was both fresh and delicious. The food was fantastic. Possibly the best palak paneer my wife and I have ever had. The owners/staff were very friendly and made sure that we enjoyed everything. My brother and I just finished eatting here. We got the goat karahi, peshawari chapali kebab and Keema nan to go. This reveiw is for everything mumus the keema nan since that we're taking home. All else we ate in the restaurant. Also got three nans, two plain nans and one roghani nan. (That's a lot of food for two people, but couldn't resist lol). We ate everything! It was super fresh and made to order, however, we did not need to wait long to get it. Maybe 15-20 mins. Even though our stomachs were full, we got Chai at the end. It was proper Pakistani Chai. One of the best local places I would ever go to, quick, easy and the freshest food you can find. Some of my favorites are Lahori chana, goat curry, sesame naan, chicken tandoori and to end a proper meal with their rice pudding. The portion and the price speaks for itself.
