They open early 11am that worked for us. The food was good service was awesome for my family first time as a Mother's Day lunch

We actually had one of the best experiences ever the last time we dined here. Wait time was only a few minutes & our server made the greatest impression. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name. He told us he'd only been working there fur about a month and a half, but he was on point! The food is always good! Duh, that's why we return... Lol! Oh and we do enjoy the environment... We love the K-Pop videos!

Iron Age in Maryland? While I'm used to going to the Iron Age locations in Northern Virginia, I was up north visiting friends while we decided to try out Iron Age for dinner. Pretty much if it's dinner time, there's going to be a rush and a long wait. We did wait about 30-45 minutes but we were able to pass the time by visiting the food court next door. Pretty much Iron Age offers what you'd expect from most KBBQ places. You got meats and small dishes (banchan) that you can eat to your heart's content within 90 minutes. That's pretty good if you are someone that loves protein! If there's any downside, the music is a bit loud so sometimes it's hard to hear what the server or your friends are saying.

My first time here and definitely not the last. Everything was delicious including the fermented radishes. I was surprised that my 5 year old and I enjoyed it. We tried the chicken, brisket, pork, and bulgogi beef. All of the meats were flavored well and tender. My only wish is that they offered boba. Our server Winny was amazing!

Iron age is always a fun spot for korean bbq! It is loud but its part of the experience! They play kpop music videos on their big tv screens. Its all you can eat so you can try lots of yummy options. The servers are always friendly and attentive. I gave 4 stars because sometimes the quality of the meat is just ok - but usually good! The beef bulgogi, iron age steak, and brisket are my go to meat options.

Iron Age is consistently a very great experience. It's perfect for date night, celebrations, and just a good vibe with friends. Eating here can definitely get pricey if you add in alcohol and your party is 4 or more (it's an automatic 18% gratuity for 4 or more ) . Overall this restaurant is one of my favorites and always a recommendation for those wanting to try "something new" Side note: I want to make sure Kevin, the server I've been getting lately, gets his flowers. He's a really good guy and super cool!

Food was average imo. Cheaper meat in great marinades. The salad dressing was amazing. Service was very good, almost to a fault. Like over attentive at times. It seemed like they turn the grill up and down to control how much you eat. It didn't bother us as we weren't in it for quantity. It has a cool ambiance but I could definitely do without the blaring K-pop. We did it for the experience but wouldn't go back. I'd much rather have a meal cooked for me and served with my own sides as opposed to only being allowed 1 side at a time per table.

Sometimes the experience is great and sometimes it's mehhhh. It just depends on the night the staff is having. Please be sure your entire party is present to be seated. You have 90 min for an unlimited experience. Be cautious as if you waste food you will be charged. There's a plethora of options in terms of meats to select. Dinner seems to have a larger variety. For a first time try i recommend visiting during lunch as it can be less intense of an experience and easier on the pockets lol. If you're an expert at Korean bbq then come for dinner. It's worth it. They have a fully stocked bar with lots of options. It's a great birthday place. Gratuity is charged automatically for 6 or more. The price is predicted to increase in the new year (2025) so run to Iron Age while it's still reasonable.

    Barry S.

It was a good experience. The meat was fresh and the sides were fresh. It is spacious. They don't do reservations. I will be coming back for sure.

Trend in our family is we visit once a year which always fall in the month of February. Beef bulgogi is my top pick with rice, kimchi, & salad!!! We tried the pork belly but it was our taste. It was unseasoned which probably added to the deference. We went on a Saturday & there was a wait. The cool thing is they text you a link and you can periodically check to see where you are at in the line. We got a perfect spot in the booths. Our waiter was nice and brought food out quickly! A++ in my book!!

    Do they accept Apple Pay?

No. There is signage that informs you of this upon entering.

    What's the cost per person?

It's all you can eat for $29.99 per person plus tax and tip.

    Do they has scenior discount?

Unfortunately they do not have a senior discount. Their lunch prices are different than dinner prices because steak and shrimp is not included in the lunch price.

Do they serve soup or hot tea?

I've never seen soup like you would get at other Korean BBQ places.

    Does this location accept reservations?

They do not. It's first come, first serve. They will add you to a list and text you when your table is ready. You can also see your spot in line. We usually sit in the car.

    Are they open back up?

    Yes

Why don't yoo have pork belly?

They do have pork belly. I had some on my visit yesterday.

What is maximum amount of people you can have for a party. Per table?

    I've seen 6 fit comfortably.

Can somebody come just to hang out and not eat or pay for the all you can eat?

Sure!, you can go for a drinks only. If you change mind you can go for the buffet.

Can you get the dinner special at lunch hours?

    Yes

Do they charge extra for the birthday celebration at your table?

They do not charge extra for the birthday celebration as long as your reservation is within at least a week before or after your birthday. They will charge extra if your birthday is on November the 10 but the reservation for your party is November… Read more

Most of the vendors didnt appear friendly when I walked around but Inignore that. I selected the stall second from the door on the left. The woman and man working there were noticeably unfriendly from the start. The interaction felt cold and unwelcoming, and the looks and tone throughout the transaction were negative enough that it made me uncomfortable. I was also charged extra for rice to go with my general tso chicken and then charged $1 for a take-out box, even though I originally said I was eating there as I did but had significant left overs . It felt unnecessary and petty. The situation got worse when I bought a 12-oz Diet Coke from another vendor next to the pastry shop on the right when you walk in. I handed the cashier a $20 bill. The register clearly showed $18.41, yet he gave me $13.41 in change and walked away. When I called him back and showed him the numbers, he initially hesitated and spoke in another language rather than addressing the issue. Only after I showed him the cash that I left on the counter did he reopen the register and give me the $5 he had not returned. Mistakes can happen, but the combination of the horrible attitudes, the way I was treated, and the hesitation to correct the change left me questioning whether I was being treated differently. As a Black customer, that concern is real and cannot be ignored. First impressions matter, especially when someone new to the area is trying to support local businesses. Unfortunately, this experience made me feel unwelcome. I won't be returning and will spend my money elsewhere.

We tried out a combo meal of 6 with ribeye, sirloin, mainly beef. The servers also grilled and cut all the meats for us which is nice. A delicious bowl of steam eggs came with the meal, wish they would at least offer two bowls for a party of 6 and surprisingly no rice came with the combo. We had to add an extra order of steak and seafood pancake since no one was really full with the combo. I would say this place is for those who have high expectations of fresh & premium meats. You will not be stuff or over indulged because it can be quite pricey. Our bill with tips & taxes was about $55 per person. It's a bit pricey for lunch and I wasn't even full. They have a great 12-4pm lunch special on weekdays, two-hours of grill-it-yourself All-You-Can-Eat Korean BBQ or Hot Pot (pho-like soup) for $21, (less for kids). Arriving about 12:15pm, we were seated by the alert host with no wait. I think they could fit around 40 in booths for 4 to 6. There's a whole other area further in for maybe 50 more, with some tables for large groups. The room was lively with conversation and music. We were immediately greeted by our attentive friendly fun server, Mahlah, who explained it all to us: menu choices and pricing, the wireless ordering-tablet, techniques for grilling, and the buffet appetizers and desserts. She lit the grill that is built into our table, and took our first order so we could start in as soon as we got back from the buffet. At the buffet we filled a dish with nicely-fiery flavorful kimchee and a similar spicy mix with tofu. We got lettuce, carrot shreds, and fresh tomato chunks. Warm sesame-covered mochi-rice balls, lightly sweet and fresh with a chewy inside. Fresh hot finger-thin 2-inch spring-rolls, crispy and flakey with a little bit of veggies inside. I got small hot flakey crispy rangoon triangles filled with cream cheese with just a little crab-flavor. I ate a couple to manage that spicy kimchee and tofu :-). They had fries and breaded shrimp and chicken wings, too. We filled smaller bowls with several of their dozen or more flavorful sauces, from a KPOT signature red sweet bbq sauce, to a pretty-spicy red sauce, to a bowl of soy-sauce to which we added chives and onions and garlic and jalapeños and such. All very tasty and fresh. The lunch-menu Korean BBQ offered a wide selection of meats and seafood and veg. Mahlah was always nearby, watchful for any requests, and brought our first course in mere minutes. The "spicy" bulgogi beef was cut in medium-thick slices, maybe 1/8-in thick, and it cooked quickly while staying very juicy and very tender. The prime brisket was cut in thicker slabs, maybe 1/4-in, and it was marbled enough for good juicy flavor and tender texture even on this hot grill. We used the scissors to size it down for eating. The beef-belly was very thinly sliced, paper-thin, and it cooked up in a flash, getting a a slight crust like a well-done Italian porchetta. That took some practice to cook without almost evaporating it! The trick? The table-grill is hottest in the middle, so cook delicate foods around the edge of the grill. We had tender chunks and strips of juicy marinated garlic-chicken breast, and tender juicy good-sized garlic-shrimp, which were both very easy to grill. We tried some thick slices and long tangles of squid, and they were tasty but we didn't really figure out how to keep them tender, so we cut them up into smaller pieces with the scissors and marinated them in soy sauce which really enhanced the slight char. We grilled sliced white onion, thin zucchini circles, chunks of fresh green peppers, thin tasty white oyster mushroom discs, and thicker chunks of peppers and portobello mushrooms. On we go! We ordered twice more. An order of the thicker cuts of pork-belly, which came out like fancy not-salty bacon. Bright-red "spicy" (not very spicy) sweet juicy white-fish fillets, which cooked fast! Sweet tender "Hawaiian" bulgogi, which we spiced up with sauce from the buffet. More of those tasty garlic-shrimp. Probably a few more items that I'm not remembering right now. For dessert we got some little chocolate ice cream and fruit-flavor sherbet cups from the freezer by the buffet, and chose tiny wooden spoons just for fun, instead of the available silverware. We got fresh fruit and a slice of light cake with a light creamy layer on top. Then Mahlah overheard one of us say "birthday"! She laughingly scolded us for not telling her sooner, quickly came back with a large wonderful slice of delicious super-light cheesecake with a candle, and happily sang Happy Birthday with us! It felt like another friend had joined us! Luckily, one who remembered the cake :-) We ate for nearly two hours, until we couldnt eat any more! It was so much fun, and we chattered happily the whole time as we were adding to the grill or serving or sneaking tastes along the way :-). We thoroughly enjoyed our tasty flavorful generous meal. KPOT is a great fun place for fresh grill-it-yourself foods. There's five more KPOTs within 45min and several more within an hour. I had no idea! But this is the only location with Mahlah, our lovely friendly skillful server.
