BeSeTo offers a huge variety of food options, and everything smelled amazing as soon as we walked in! There's also a small shopping area downstairs, which is a nice addition. The restaurant is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking, so getting in and out is pretty easy. I ordered the General Tso's chicken with rice, and the portion size was awesome. The chicken was flavorful, fresh, and definitely one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried a spicy soup-style dish that was extremely flavorful and brought the perfect amount of heat to the meal. The shrimp tempura sushi, however, could definitely use some improvement. I've had much better elsewhere, and it probably wouldn't be something I'd order again. Overall, BeSeTo is a great option if you're dining with a group or simply want a place with plenty of different choices. With the variety of food, generous portions, and convenient location, I'd definitely recommend checking it out! read more

Solid place to get a variety of different Korean food! Sushi: would skip... I haven't had the best experience with the fish being fresh. Korean-Chinese: yes! Tangsooyuk is a must here and I love how they have the combos with jajangmyun or jjambbong The back wall with rice dishes: the stone pot bibimbap is pretty solid, but their soups are delicious as well! Pros: variety of foods to choose from, if you go with a group of people, there should be something for everyone Cons: food can come out a bit slower in peak times and tables get filled up pretty quickly. Overall, a must visit for Korean food! read more

Fried dumplings were fire... and don't kill me because I cannot remember the name of the spot with the viral fried sushi roll. TikTok made me do it, and I'm not even mad about it! If you happen to find this Korean food hall-style spot, you HAVE to go. It's set up like a cafeteria with multiple shops inside, so you can try a little bit of everything. The best part? Once you find this place, you'll discover a bunch of other Korean spots nearby, and every single one is doing their thing. The fried sushi definitely lived up to the hype, the dumplings were on point, and the whole vibe made it a fun food adventure. 10/10 would go back just to eat my way through the rest of the vendors. read more

Every time we go to H Mart, we always eat at beseto- it feels like our happy place! We always stop by the authentic Korean stall -- never disappoint My husband's favorite is the spicy goat stew, and this time, instead of my usual bibimbap, I got the seafood pancake. The food here tastes just like a home-cooked meal -- comforting, flavorful, and consistently delicious every single time. read more

TLDR: BeSeTo in Catonsville is a beautifully renovated Asian food court offering generous portions, excellent Korean comfort dishes, and a fun dose of Korean culture through its downstairs shopping area. A must visit if you enjoy authentic Korean food and variety. BeSeTo Food Court in Catonsville has become one of my favorite local spots. Located right next to H Mart on Rolling Road, BeSeTo (short for Beijing, Seoul, Tokyo) occupies the space that used to be the longtime Hanori food court where I had been going for nearly 15 years. The renovation here is massive in the best way. The entire space feels brighter and more modern and the mix of vendors has improved dramatically. The food court is now located upstairs and features five total vendors offering a wide mix of Asian comfort foods. Over the course of a dozen visits I have tried all of them and everything has been fantastic as well as fairly priced. Some of the absolute must tries are the kalguksu with its rich handmade noodles, the sundae which is incredibly hard to find locally, the jajangmyeon and jjambbong duo for when you want to go classic Korean Chinese, and the jokbol when it is available. Portions here are extremely generous, many large enough to share, so it is well worth coming with friends or family. Ordering is very simple. Each vendor has a numbered menu and you can order easily in English if you do not speak Korean. Food comes out fast and always piping hot which makes it a perfect spot for a quick lunch or casual dinner. Downstairs you will find the shopping vendors specializing in Korean home goods. They carry everything from cookware and tabletop items to traditional style furniture and even herbal supplements. Browsing through the aisles genuinely reminded me of the household stores I visited in Seoul and it adds a cultural bonus to the overall experience. Overall, BeSeTo is a gem in Catonsville and a must visit for anyone who loves Korean food or wants to explore a slice of Korean culture. Generous portions, great pricing, and a refreshed space make this an a homerun pick. read more

the chinese and korean restaurants are amazing. I recommend #3 spicy pork platter and the taan soo yook

Authentic Asian foods with cafeteria-style seating. There are several restaurant fronts here, featuring Korean, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine. They also have a sushi storefront. I tried the Jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) and got a small for around $10. It was very large! The sauce was ok (could've used some salt) and the pork bits I got were pretty fatty. When they take your order, they ask your name and then call it over a speaker when it's ready, which means it's kind of loud while you're eating. There is also a convenience store/gift shop downstairs which I was eager to check out, but it was closed when I was there. Overall, the food was authentic and I would be interested in checking it out again. read more

Beseto is one of my tried and true go-to spots for Korean food! There are many food stalls inside that serve a variety of dishes such as the classic black bean noodles, jjamppong, fried mandu, and so much more. It's a great spot where you can try many Korean dishes with quick service as well as enjoy a lively family atmosphere! My only critique is that there was one food stall towards the entrance (I cannot remember the name) that was a bit inconsistent. I ordered a creamy rosé tteokbokki and one regular spicy tteokbokki. However, the rosé tteokbokki tasted exactly the same as the regular.. I believe it was missing a key ingredient to make the sauce more creamy. Other than that, the food still tasted great and I would recommend going to try the different food stalls! read more

We came here specifically to try the viral deep-fried sushi roll, but while we were waiting, we ordered the black bean noodles--and they were so delicious! It was our first time visiting, and it definitely won't be our last. The customer service was just okay--not rude, but nothing memorable. There's plenty of seating, which is a plus. My cousin also ordered the sweet and sour chicken and said it was fresh, and the sauce was amazing. read more

I found out about this place two years ago but just ate here today. I ordered from the first korean food stall and got dumpling ramen soup. It was delicious and what i needed for today. It was just the right amount of spice. They also gave me pickled radish on the side. The menu is extensive and I will like to try other items later on. They have tables in front of the counter so I found a seat and they gave me my soup when it was ready. read more

BeSeTo is located inside a building that has multiple food shops inside. Jjajangmyeon and Tangsooyuk Combo 7/10 - the tangsooyuk was crispy and light! **large portions, great value and selection! I love this place! It's right next to HMart. I will be honest--when I first tried this place last year, I was not too impressed. But my partner likes it so I kept trying. And now I am sold! There is a huge variety of classic and fusion Korean dishes here. It's a food court so there are a few different stands. I personally love the stand that sells bibimbap in the stone pot. Oh man is it good! I love to let the rice crisp up on the pot before I start eating. I also like getting jajangmyeon and tangsuyuk (which are both Korean/Chinese fusion dishes). One of the stands sells it as a duo and the portion is MASSIVE. But be aware that to get a takeout box, it is $1 per box. Not a huge deal for me because I usually finish the food ;) Since it's a food court, I advise you to have realistic expectations about the service. The prices are low and it's very casual, so do not expect amazing service. For me, as long as I get my food here, I am not complaining! read more

I do come here often, but it isn't necessarily because the food is excellent. it is convenient and service is fast. Personally, i think the korean/chinese place is the best one. The jajang there is pretty good and the serving size is good. They have some good noodles/kuksu as well. The place that serves the korean soups and stews has been hit and miss for me unfortunately, so i don't order from there as often. However, i still recommend checking this place out. A lot of people come here because it is usually good. The dessert place near the entrance is great (delimanjoo). Definitely get a red bean taiyaki for dessert! read more

Tons of free parking and accepts cash and credit card. If you love tons of food options, this is a place to go. They serve tons of food options from street foods, Chinese food and Korean food. They are separated into 3 categories. The tough part is choosing what foods to order. I highly recommend trying the spicy pork at the Korean location. Also, their spicy tofu soup, fried dumplings. Food taste fresh and make sure to clean after yourself once you finish. There is tons of tables here so you don't have to worry about sitting. There is also a Korean shop downstairs. read more

We had a large group coming from the end of a weekend retreat, and when we were looking up for places to go to for lunch, we thought Beseto was the best option to fit all of us. Even at around 2 PM on a Sunday afternoon, Beseto was still very busy. With multiple Korean food vendors, you can basically get any Korean staple you're craving, from donkatsu, all types of jjigaes and tangs, noodles, hot pots, bibimbaps, Korean-Chinese options, and more! I was craving sundae, so I ordered the following two sundae options: 35 SOON DAE (KOREAN SAUSAGE) - 14.95 For the price, I got plenty of soondae (three long links, cut up very nicely and topped with some spring onions) with a dipping sauce and seasoning. The soondae was pretty good and satisfied my cravings, but nothing extraordinary. It went nicely with the salt/seasoning. I had so much leftover to take home for another meal. 24 SOON DAE GUK (TRADITIONAL KOREAN SAUSAGE SOUP) - 13.95 The soondae guk was pretty sizable and comes with a bowl of white rice and a small amount of kimchi on the side. The kimchi was at the perfect fermented state and was a good mix of savory and sour. I enjoyed it. The soondae guk was just OK. The broth was flavorful but way too salty. There was a good amount of meat/intestine along with a few pieces of soondae and lots of chives and greens. Personally, I wouldn't get this soondae guk here again. I tried my friend's pork tangsuyuk and the breading here is quite thick. The pork I tried had a good amount of meat and fat, making it a very juicy bite. I wasn't the biggest fan of the sweet and sour sauce, and found that it lacked the "oomph" I was looking for. Note: If you need any to-go boxes, they charge 50 cents for each box/container. And their credit card minimum is 7.00. read more

Came here maybe a month ago and I was overwhelmed with ordering food and underwhelmed once I received our meals. We were heat immediately by the heat in there it was hot af, I thought we were going to sit down and eat together but with that heat we had to leave once we ordered. Customer service was just ok. And I say that because I ordered bibimap and wanted the egg fried hard since I don't like runny egg and she stated that couldn't. Didn't ask if it could be done, she simply said no. I ordered it anyway thinking maybe my tastes buds changed and yeah no I still don't like it. The beef was seasoned to perfection, kimchi was ok and the veggies were bland. My son had the pork fried rice and I thought that was pretty good not so good that I would drive back there specifically for that. Now what I will drive back there for is the BUNGEOPPANG with the custard and red bean. That dessert was a 10/10! The store area in the basement was cute, but the sales associates seemed annoyed we were there didn't speak nor asked if we needed help. But I will say they watched us like hawks to see if we were trying to steal. Food was 2/5 Dessert 5/5 Environment 1/5 read more

I'm new to the Catonsville area and was looking forward to trying this Korean food hall. Unfortunately, my experience left a very BAD and NEGATIVE impression. Most of the vendors didnt appear friendly when I walked around but Inignore that. I selected the stall second from the door on the left. The woman and man working there were noticeably unfriendly from the start. The interaction felt cold and unwelcoming, and the looks and tone throughout the transaction were negative enough that it made me uncomfortable. I was also charged extra for rice to go with my general tso chicken and then charged $1 for a take-out box, even though I originally said I was eating there as I did but had significant left overs . It felt unnecessary and petty. The situation got worse when I bought a 12-oz Diet Coke from another vendor next to the pastry shop on the right when you walk in. I handed the cashier a $20 bill. The register clearly showed $18.41, yet he gave me $13.41 in change and walked away. When I called him back and showed him the numbers, he initially hesitated and spoke in another language rather than addressing the issue. Only after I showed him the cash that I left on the counter did he reopen the register and give me the $5 he had not returned. Mistakes can happen, but the combination of the horrible attitudes, the way I was treated, and the hesitation to correct the change left me questioning whether I was being treated differently. As a Black customer, that concern is real and cannot be ignored. First impressions matter, especially when someone new to the area is trying to support local businesses. Unfortunately, this experience made me feel unwelcome. I won't be returning and will spend my money elsewhere. read more

I can't believe it look me this long to stop in after all the years of going to HMart in Catonsville. Beseto Asian Food Court is a food court (in the name) with several different restaurants/stands: Sushi Corner, Il Shik (Japanese dishes like udon, tempura, katsu), Joong Shik (Korean-style Chinese, with dishes like Jjajangmyun and Tangsooyook), and That Old Country Home (lots of Korean dishes on a large menu). I ate at That Old Country Home as I wanted a comforting meal. I loved the denjang-jjiae, it honestly might have been one of the best I've had. I got the fried mackerel, and the fish was a bit dry. I wanted to ask for more kimchi as it was quite good but it was kind of busy. Overall it's a pretty big food court with a lot of seating. I saw a lot of families when I was there. Every time I go to H Mart, I stop here for lunch or dinner. There's a huge variety, with plenty of seating. Different stations are run by different people with some overlap in the types of Asian cuisine. Service is awesome. Sometimes you might feel like you're being yelled at, but if you've dealt with enough older Korean women, that's just normal chitchat. No problems. I've tried so many things here, and never had anything which disappointed me. Portions tend to be quite large, so be ready to eat. read more

Great unsuspecting korean good spot. It's more than that actually. You come in and are greeted with 5 differbt options for food, court style. Sushi, Snacks/street food, Korean traditional food, Korean Chinese food, and then miscellaneous Korean food. Everyone has free water that you can grab yourself. I always get their mackerel which comes with soybean paste soup, rice, and banchan. Or I get their Spicy seafood noodles soup, Jajangmyeon, tangsooyuk, and Kkanpunggi. The portions are healthy and the taste is never lackluster. Love this because it's not about the frills just the quality. Once done with the food, you can go downstairs and shop. Whenever I'm in the area, I stop here for lunch if possible. The food is so fresh and there is an incredible amount of options. The three counters/kitchens are supposed to reflect the name of the food court - one is BEijing style, one is SEoul style, one is TOkyo style - BeSeTo. I like the variety and always try to get a dish I haven't tried previously. The counter ladies are always friendly and courteous. The upstairs food court is loud and often busy. Folks are enjoying their lunches with their friends, family, or solo. There is a bakery/bubble tea place in the same building. They are the only place outside of NYC where I have been able to get custard-filled Taiyaki. Next to the bakery is a sushi spot (have not tried). Great Korean food hall that is on top of a general store. I gave service 4 stars as this is a counter service establishment. 3-4 "restaurants".. great Korean options. My partner and I both got bibimbap and some mandu. Delicious. And tho the name comes from Be(ijing) - Se(oul)-To(kyo) - I wouldn't say there is any Chinese food besides maybe dumplings at one spot and Jajangmyeon which really isn't Chinese. There is a sushi option tho. I think it's BYOB as we saw some folks come in with a six-pack. Place is nothing fancy like the Block in Bethesda or The Spot in Rockville.
