I rarely venture out to Kohls but coming here today I'm much more impressed and happy both with the customer service, professional attention and stock quality and quantity of my favorite make up, hair care and skin care brands. I placed an order a week ago , I received part and then I was tracking the rest of the order found one in transit and the other apparently sent to the store and cancelled bc it wasnt picked up. I had no notification that it was sent to the store and ready for pick up. The sad part is I called the store and spoke with Judy the supervisor , I asked if I came in and showed my receipt will they honor the sale price since is a day short and as a priority kohls shopper I was disappointed and she said no I had to come in and repurchase it with any available coupon. This is my local neighborhood Kohl's. The spot that my Wife & I go to whenever we have to get a last minute gift. It's always hit or Miss but sometimes you'll come across some great deals here. I also go here for workout gear, they have a nice assortment of reputable watch brands - Citizen instantly comes to mind - and a few nice jewelry pieces. The customer service is always good here as well. While it's not my favorite store in the world, it's far from a bad experience and I will always go back whenever I forget another loved ones birthday. read more

Bottom Line:  Great values and styles but you might have to do some digging to find what you need. Sephora is coming very soon! Overall, this Kohl's is your typical Kohl's - a large single story department store carrying clothing and shoes for the whole family, accessories, housewares, luggage and even some greeting cards and toys. Gather up everything you need and head to the checkout line by the front of the store where a single line forms for a plethora of registers. There is no denying that Kohl's has great prices.  Add a few coupons and Kohl's Cash to the mix and a savvy shopper can come out of here with some awesome deals.  I'm not a huge Kohl's shopper but this is my go-to place where I stock up on fashionable 100% UV protection sunglasses for $17. Kohl's has stylish clothes and I always see fashions I like but typically I am too lazy or short on time to dig through the racks to find my size and try it on. Kohl's definitely is largely a self-service model. Kohl's tends to carry name brands but often, at least in my experience, the lower quality or cheaper versions of the brand. The better brands they carry, like UnderArmour, KitchenAid and Sephora are typically excluded from the deep discount sales and coupon deals. Speaking of Sephora, Sephora will be moving into this this Kohl's very soon! When I visited in mid-April 2022 the build out was being finalized and the inventory for the special Sephora section of the store was sitting nearby. I am curious to see if they carry a full line of Sephora or just the best sellers from their full-sized retail stores. read more

SLEAZY SLEAZY SLEAZY. Please, just get it over with and go out of business! When I shop at B&N Books, I used to walk over to see if Kohls had any cute tops or dresses, like they did years ago, but at some point I stopped because their clothes became so ugly. However, today I bought a rug and it had a 15% off sign, which is not much for Memorial Day, but that's ok. The girl rang it up, and I asked why the sale price didn't deduct, and she said it takes a very special type of "home coupon" to get the sale. Of course there was nothing about needing a special coupon on the sign, or needing any coupon -- these are supposed to be Memorial Day sale pricing! Is this some kind of joke? She asked if I had a Kohl's card and I said yes, thinking that would give me the lousy 15% off. But no, she said that maybe if I close my Kohls card out or if it is dormant, I can apply for a new card and then maybe I can get the 15% off on the rug. Is this girl on drugs? Is Kohls out of thier mind? This is my holiday weekend, I have things to do, and I don't want to spend it in line at Kolhs playing insane open/close card games to get a lousy 15% off on a rug, holding up the line for other customers, who are also trying to get out ASAP and back to their holiday. By the way, the exact same rug was cheaper at Target, in the same shopping center, so I wasted my time by coming to Kohls to see it there was anything I liked better. At this point I just took my rug and left, wondering why I EVEN waste my time at this dump. This time I learned my lesson for good. It is not even about the 15% off -- it is about the bait-and-switch sleaze-ball tactics and disrespecting customers. Now the only thing to do is wait for this Kohls to go down in bankruptcy AGAIN and clear the way for a decent retailer. Also, why is Kohls still just carrying pandemic era women's clothes -- ruffles on top of ruffles on top of flounces with puffy sleeves designed by boys that think during the pandemic women stayed at home and pranced through the fields or re-enacted scenes from Little House on the Prairie? (That and cheap-looking drab shapeless things for older women.) Kohls thought Sephora would save them but the display lacks appeal, and I've yet to see more than 1 person in there. Every declining retail outlet has installed a Sephora, at a time when there is a glut of not just Sephora, but all make-up on the market. It also takes up a lot of space and minimizes the clothing selections. read more

For example, on Sunday's, Kohl's hours are 9AM to 9PM, whereas Macy's hours are Sunday's are 11AM to 7PM. -If you sign up as a Yes2U Rewards member you will get frequent coupons, 15, 20, or 30% which will be applied every time you use your Kohl's card. -Coupons can be applied to most brands and sales compared to department stores such as Macy's in which restrictions apply during sales/specials, and many designer name brands. -$10 gift certificate on your birthday (my vague recollection). -Clearance racks are 50-80% and you can use coupons on top of that. -Free shipping if you pick up in the store. -Hassle free return policy with the exception of electronics. More lenient and easier than other department stores. Cons: -Lines: It can get crazy during the holidays and peak times in general. -Selection: The Petite's section is very limited and suited more towards older clientele. I wish there was a bigger selection. -Sizes: In general, I wish there were more XS/S in Petite and Junior's clothing, and size 5.5-6 in women's shoes. -Prices: Moderate to pricy. I only buy items when it's on sale and if I have a coupon. Sometimes it still seems pricy but if I really like something I have to suck it up. read more

And great quality merchandise. Had to stop in to get my daughter some new jeans since the weather was starting to get cooled off and she is outgrown all of her old ones. Spacious parking lot I would advise coming in off of Route 108 to avoid the traffic congestion in front of the target that shares the same parking lot. I was able to get in find a space close to the door and start my shopping. Store is always clean and has a very good layout so you can find everything you need quickly. Or I got her items we were able to go to the cash registers. There was no line at all so we were out just as quickly as we got in. The cashier was so nice she even advisor said they had a 20% off coupon online that you can redeem in-store without being a member of a rewards program. So ended up saving a few dollars on this trip as well. Always a plus. At this location they have a Amazon drop off area as well. I have used it several times and it's always easier than trying to find a UPS store to mail stuff out. You don't even need to get a box because they will box it up for you. All you need to do is scan in your QR code and it's done. On top of that they will always give you a coupon to use at Kohl's so you can kill two birds with one stone. Family visiting asked to stop by kohl's since they normally have good experience at their local kohls out of state. They found items on racks that stated they were on sale, however when rung up unfortunately did not honor sale on signs even with management notified. I later called to share my experience and that my family was so unhappy compared to their experience back home with kohls being organized and providing great customer service in their state. Instead I was asked if I took a picture of the signs. I explained that I've never felt like I had to take pictures of signs while at the stores and this is not a response I expected ( this is why most people now shopping online instead) where the price is not misleading and you don't have to waste your time standing in line only to feel misled and disappointed in the service! read more

This Kohl's is absolutely terrible! They leave you on hold for more than 15 minutes waiting for a manager to respond to a question. Guess what? No one ever picked up...surprise! Customer service is non-existent here; no wonder they're ALWAYS hiring. Dump! Don't even bother calling headquarters because they give you the run around just as much as the stores. No solution to my valid concern after being on the phone with an alleged CSR for over 30 minutes. She just kept apologizing as though that was making the situation better; save your apologies lady! Then, on top of that, they still charged 6% sales tax on clothing eligible items during tax-free week despite it being against the law to do so. Crooks! This used to be a good store with friendly cashiers. I see the last review is from 2 years ago. I would occasionally find a cute top or nice dress or impulse purchase. However, I quit going in because the clothes went downhill, now it is more like a Walmart. They have some teen clothes, and lots of nondescript clothes for women, what look like clothes to hide excess weight. Their household kitchen items are over priced -- can do much better elsewhere. I tried going in again the other day thinking maybe they received some new stock in or new, better clothes. Or maybe to find a nice decor item or new comforter. There is really nothing that I would bring home from here even if it were given to me free. Very poor clothing selection. I know selection has gone downhill everywhere since the pandemic, whether it has been because of inability to obtain better, or because stores decided to carry the bare minimum. But really just a LOT OF UGLY CLOTHING. I needed a couple kitchen hand towels and picked the only 2 that didn't have pumpkins or black cats on them. I really just wanted kitchen towels, not Halloween stuff. The cashiers were not very nice at all and had a rude attitude. Not like the old Kohls. Getting them home I realized they were not right for my kitchen. Brought them back, and after 1 day they would not even give me a full refund. So, I'm finished with Kohls. I wish they would just hurry up and go out of business instead of this long drawn out slow death. Putting the Sephora in there is just like putting lipstick on a pig. Let's just get rid of Kolhs and get a decent store in this shopping center, which is otherwise pretty nice. read more

The entry lady was super nice and friendly and pointed me to the Amazon return kiosk when I walked in. The store looked clean and things were well organized and in stock. I perused some items after completing my return (since you get a %% off coupon to use after doing an Amazon return) and almost bought a hoodie, but because it was a particular brand of sports merchandise, the coupon didn't apply. The cashier was friendly about it though when I explained I wouldn't be purchasing the item since the coupon wouldn't apply. read more

Pretty standard Kohls. SUPER unorganized and things are never where they are suppose to be. Tons of screaming kids and trashy crab billies everywhere. Relatively understaffed as the place is so unorganized and clothes are just spilled out everywhere. It's pretty pathetic. The bathroom however was recently remodeled and is the best part of this store. So if you're in the area and need to run into a store to take a quick dump. Go here. Kohls has not weathered the pandemic very well. Like all locations, this one relies on posting highly inflated regular prices, and once you use percentages off and Kohls cash, you can get an "amazing" sale price that is still more expensive than even the brands' own internet sites. This store is clearly having employee issues. The pants section for mens (think: Dockers) was a laughable mess, as it was last week when we came. Several sections throughout the store were totally out of sorts. This wasn't due to one rough day - this stuff hasn't been touched for several days or a week. Nevertheless, my daughter found about 7 things. We saw that the ladies dressing room was closed and went to the children's area, where the dressing room was also closed. We asked an employee and we were told that all dressing rooms close one hour before closing. It was 8:05 pm and they close at 9:00 pm. Terrific - maybe my wallet closes one hour before store closing as well. My daughter bought only 2 pieces to try on at home and we had to wait in a longish line (the cash registers on the other side of the store were all closed as they were last week around noon time). The store seems to guarantee that you will wait in a significant line no matter how many customers are in the store. One cashier was cashing out their register even though there were customers waiting 10 minutes or more for service. Lines were moving so slow because of the time spent by cashiers and customers on coupons, Kohls cash, and "you can save an additional $31.29 if you sign-up for a Kohls credit card." Overall, not an atmosphere that we enjoy. read more

This is my first and LAST time I will ever step foot in a Kohl's. Seriously! I went because I got a random coupon mailed to me and didn't notice that it wasn't valid for a few more days (my mistake). Either way, I thought I'd pick up a few items for my little ones for Christmas. All I wanted was a pair of gloves, a hat, and a scarf for my kids. Nothing fancy. Shouldn't that be easy enough? Not here! They have stuff stashed everywhere. Literally, there were kids gloves in 5 different locations, same with socks and hats. I couldn't even find kids' scarves so I gave up. I ran around like a chicken with it's head cut off for nearly a half an hour to find simple items. The rest of the store was the same...A DISORGANIZED RAT RACE. Now for the million dollar question...WHY DO PEOPLE SHOP HERE EVER? It certainly can't be the prices. $14 for a pair of cheap kid's gloves? Maybe I'm out of touch but that doesn't seem any less expensive than many other higher end chain stores. Customer service? Ha! Every person I encountered including the woman who rang me up seemed like they could be a character from a zombie movie (as in totally zoned out). I left here traumatized! Why not one star? I went to Kohl's to find a new suit. My expectations were low - I just wanted to find something to fit me after dropping a couple of inches off my waistline. Kohl's selection was excellent, and I was quickly able to find two suits that fit my new dimensions. I also picked up a couple of shirts and some khaki pants for casual Fridays. The real shocker was at the register - not only were the suits discounted, but Khol's was running some sort of promotion. For two suits, two dress shirts, and two pairs of dress slacks, I paid around 250 dollars. That is absolutely unbelievable. What a deal! Finally, I should also mention that the staff member who assisted us was kind, patient and incredibly helpful. I was impressed by the quality of the employees. In short, I walked in just looking to buy a suit, I walked out a dedicated customer. Well done, Kohl's! read more

This Kohl's has a very big selection of male dress clothing and various different styles. They also have a great selection of Levi's and Rock & Republic Jeans and shirts. The only thing I disagree on price wise is the under garments. The prices are ridiculous, value packs of tee-shirts, boxers and socks can be brought from Walmart or target for way less but to each it's own. I like the appliances and kitchen ware here, the prices are pretty descent. I recommend this location to anyone. read more

Kohls is always a hit or miss. I do love there tank tops, which you can often get on sale. They have great team apparel selection which my fiance loves. We did one of our wedding registries here, they had such a hard time getting us a working gun. Once it was fixed we were able to browse and shop away. Warning, during big sales or holiday weekends this place is crazy. Best time to visit is early mornings during the week. read more

I don't shop here for my own clothes, but it is a fantastic place to shop for my son. They have all of the "necessary" brands and at a fraction of the price. Very par for the course Kohls - you'll find some good deals on great clothes, and some over priced cheap stuff that won't last a wash, and other items that are full price - like what you'd find at the mall. I guess the fun here is in the hunt. I did some returns here, and was pretty happy with the service I got. They informed me that the sweater I got in a Large probably wasn't available in a Medium - but there was a great sale on sweaters like it. Turned out, I returned the one and got two for a few bucks more. read more

I was quite upset when a worker said they couldn't find my clothes that I put on hold. We put it on hold so we can use the coupons that started tomorrow. They were saying it's not their and checked twice. I was pissed because I went shopping for two hours and felt like it was a waste of time. I walked away from the associate... pissed. I was like I am going to go find the clothes that they supposedly put back. I was looking and looking for the clothes. Upset as heck. Then they told me they found it! The associate said it was under other clothes. I was like YASSS! I knew it was back their. I don't think he looked hard enough. That doesn't matter because we found it. At the end I am happy. I consider myself a bargain shopper extraordinaire so I usually go to Kohls for their great sales. My grandmother usually sends me gift cards to them too so that definitely helps! This store is usually relatively clean and well stocked - exceptions are when they have change in season sales. But that is because they get so slammed they can't keep up with customers throwing crap everywhere. I also love the plaza they are located in - when it's nice out I will walk to the Target on the other side of the strip. read more

Lately I've been Impressed with Kohls. I visited the department store when it first emerged in Prince George's County. While there were brand names in the store, i just remember everything looking granny-ish. I wrote the chain off completely after some clothes I purchased there shrunk in the wash. When I went back recently with a friend, I was blown away. The chain has definitely stepped up it's game with visiting designers, trendy apparel and beautiful things for the home. I really like the Lauren Conrad clothing line. It's probably the best thing to ever come out of "The Hills." I like the lace sweaters and faux leather leggings. The Chaps line is nice too. Like low budget JCrew. I was greatly disappointed by the Vera Wang line. Her low budget line, Simply Vera, consists of some strange sequin tops. The sequins run down the middle of the chest and stops mid-bust. There are other shirts with sequins at the neckline like a bow. Only it doesn't look like a bow. Both styles looks like someone just stuck a bunch of sequins onto the shirt for no reason at all. I don't understand it. The jewelry and her take on the leather jacket look cheap. Her only saving grace are her hand bags and shoes. Best of all, Kohls is currently giving away Kohls cash. Go there, and keep the economy afloat! read more

Visited this Kohls Labor day weekend, of course it was quite busy, but that was to be expected. The only thing I did not like was the huge mess in the men's fitting rooms, large piles of clothing were in every stall. To make things a bit worse, (I needed a pair of khakis) the lack of organization within the department was making it twice as hard to find the brand/size I needed like a needle in a haystack. To their defense, it was a holiday weekend with larger than normal numbers of customers, so it could have been a fluke. I will update this after our next (non-holiday) visit. I really like Kohls and have been to their stores throughout the country with any disappointment. I am a regular shopper at Kohls and this review is on customer service I couldn't believe it. It was a regular day too, not a holiday. There were five people in front of me and 8 behind me. All the people were visibly frustrated but unfortunately no one said anything. I am not those people. I told the rep that I though they were moving slowly and needed help. Her response was "We think were doing fine." I said, "Look at that line. Do they look happy?"She said, "Were doing the best we can." Unfortunately she could have a cared less. I have seen this thing before at customer service and I never see management helping. They just walk by.. They don't seem to care and move very slowly. You need some new energy in there. I was visiting the area with my mom this past weekend, and we went into this Kohl's on the recommendation of the hotel clerk at the Holiday Inn Express in Columbia. I was looking for some blue jeans. I couldn't find what I was looking for, and getting discouraged. A clerk came up to us and saw we were discouraged, and began searching for jeans for me. Fairly unorganized, difficult to find what you need. If you do find it, it's almost impossible to figure out the cost. They need more price scanners around the store that are easier to locate. The woman who checked us out was patient and kind but left the security tags on the clothes so the alarms went off as we were trying to leave. read more

I did not love the store layout - things are not all grouped together by type but more by brand so for me (because I don't care about brand names) I was frustrated having to wander all over the place to search out different items. The staff we encountered were ok - not overly customer service oriented but not dinks either. Opened a credit card with Kohls, tried to use it that night and was told different things from different employees on the phone. My credit limit was $400. The total of my cart was $441.89. I was told BY TWO DIFFERENT EMPLOYEES in their call center there to help with things such as this that I needed to buy a gift card for $50 to drop the total to $400 so I could put the rest of the balance on the credit card. I then tried to buy the gift card and it wouldn't go thru. Called them back, was sent to another person who told me I could not do this because it would be "bending the rules" and he couldn't do it for everybody so oh well. He said specifically that if I tried to do this, he would block the purchase because it isn't fair. So basically he told me my money is no good at Kohls.
