While simply trying to exchange a pair of boots for a larger size, the young lady said, "we don't have those in a larger size - mind you, she never went into the back room to check her inventory! At this point, we did not want to shop in this store nor purchase ANYTHING from this product line! This is the second attempt to make a purchase in this location. There is no customer 'service' in this store and at this point, I will not make another attempt with any of their products.

The first lady referred me to the so called manager. He said we cant take the watch back because it was adjusted. I said the band is easily adjustable and can be returned to its original state. He was extremely rude and condescending and refused to take watch back. I asked him who his manager was and he refused to give that info. He then ran off and pawned me off on one of his employees who gave me a customer service line. Since i am from out of town the customer service dept told me to find a store in my area. Luckily the ladies at the store were much nicer and we were finally able to return the watch. The manager should be fired for taking advantage of a 16 year old and not honoring the michael kors 30 day return policy.

Earlier this year I'd bought some seamless underwear from Uniqlo in London. I was checking this Columbia location for them, and they were there! They have lots of employees fixing and organizing the clothing, or to help with any questions. I have been shopping at Uniqlo for a long time and most of the clothing I have purchased there maintains strength and durability no matter how many times you wash or dry clean them. I do wish there were more locations, but then again not so much bc I'll be broke. I do like their heattech collection, it does keep me warm during colder months. They also offer free alterations depending on what you need done and if it meets the price threshold. I forgot the minimum, but I don't think it was much. If not they charge around $5 or so. This is the closest location in the Pasadena/Annapolis area. They also have a few other locations in Bethesda, Montgomery Mall, and D.C. I'm sure there are more and I've heard there will be a new location in Annapolis Mall. Their clothing can be pricey, depending what you buy. However they do have sales throughout the year and you can get many pieces at a low price. Overall, the Columbia location has a wide variety, but one of their small stores. The location on 5th Ave, NY is by far their largest store.

My coworker and I were out holiday shopping for our boss and she wanted to see if Banana Republic had a dress that she wanted that she saw a few weeks ago. We walked into the store and noticed two women in the middle of the store who looked us up and down like we didn't belong there; come to find out, they are from corporate ( I found that out while checking out) Neither women that were standing in the middle chatting acknowledged our presence which I thought was quite rude. As we continued to walk towards the back of the store where the dress was, we were then greeted by a young lady who was working; she advised us on the sale for the day and off we went. Once my coworker found what she was looking for, we headed to the register where I noticed one of the same women standing by the register putting items away and then she called for another young lady to assist us in checking out. The lady that assisted us in check out was kind courteous and friendly. Im guessing that as an entry level employee the staff is made to be nice however when you make it to corporate or district leadership staff no longer need to be kind to their customers.
