I felt a bit funny as I had no makeup on and my hair was very frizzy from the humidity. They made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. The customer service was the best I have experienced at a retail boutique in a very long time. I purchased a lined dress and a pair of skorts. Couldn't make it out without finding a super-fun pair of earrings. It was because of Shery that I will continue to shop here when I am in town.

I didn't notice one of the garments didn't have a price tag at all, and so when I went to the clerk to be rung up, she pointed it out. I told her that I got it from the same clearance rack, and that there were other garments on the rack of the same brand. She started speaking low and put it to the side; I was under the assumption that she would perhaps call an associate for assistance to find a similar item. No! She just put that item to the side! I told her, I still wanted it, and if it was possible to get something similar. The other garment set I was rung up for was the same price - clearance - and same THING - right down to the quantity in the set! It was just not the same brand. She then shrugged her shoulders and offered a sheepish smile, and I just took that as my indication that I was going to have to get this item myself. So I went - walk of shame - while there were associates in the area who were on walkie and could have easily been communicated with to find an item - to find it myself. I initially became frustrated when I returned to the queue and found it to have accumulated quite a line. I was relieved to see that the clerk waved me back to my spot - though I'm not sure if the customers in front of me were going to be serviced or were communicated with in any capacity... Asides from the lack of initiative from customer service - the merchandise selection is pretty broad and there is are generous clearance deals throughout the store. I was able to find what I was looking for and some things that crossed my mind.

They sell clothing for women, men, and children. They also sell women's shoes, jewelry, sunglasses, and hair accessories. I didn't peruse the children and men's section so not sure what accessories they offer. IMO, a bit on the pricier side if items are not on clearance. There is a small selection of clearance item in the back of the store. Normally I only shop in petites given that I am only 5' tall so was pleasantly surprised that I found a sweater where the sleeves were the perfect length for me. The sweater is so cute with a big red heart and horizontal stripes. It was originally $89.50, but I purchased it for only $3.49 after 70% clearance was applied to the sale price with an additional $10 off after signing up for their rewards program called JC Passport. What a great way to start the weekend. I LOVE a good deal! The store was clean and organized and the associate who checked me out was super friendly. I can see this store being in my rotation when I go clothes shopping. However, I will likely only go during holidays when clothing retailers generally have the best sales. There actually are two stores here; one handles slightly more upscale items for around $25 each. Especially for people perhaps losing weight and in an intermediate size, the price is right! Sizes are marked but definitely try things on, as they can be mismarked. Plenty of changing rooms exist, the staff is helpful and on Saturdays, donations of clothing are accepted.
