    $1 rack!
    Mary S.

I dropped off some blinds and light fixtures here and the donation process was very straightforward. I stopped in to shop and there was a variety of products of differing quality and age. Of course, for those who enjoy thrifting, it's fun to hunt for treasure! The cabinets section is fantastic and has great deals on both newer cabinets and older ones needing a bit of TLC. Generally ranging from $30-60 per unit. I picked up a small creamer and statue of the dollar rack and was pleasantly surprised that it was 25% off!

I am a fan of rhe Habitat ReStores. Great place to donate household items and find hidden gems. This location is the newest one in Montgomery county. They have quite a bit on display. Yes, some items may be scratched or dented but it is nothing a little TLC can't fix. Proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity. All donations are tax deductible. Worth checking the store out.

Wow. This review is solely for the ladies in the donation receiving staff. It would have been pleasant for the staff member to open the door to allow me in during 20 mph cold wind gusts opposed to making me stand outside the front door awning while she stood in the separate opened garage loading door. I would recommend to acknowledge a customer or donor with a hello opposed to "what do you have", and say nothing else to them. Wow, not even a thank you!

My mother has been looking for a place that sold furniture at a thrifty price. We never knew this place was located 5 minutes from where we lived. We came here two weeks ago and they were having a 40% sale. It may not have been busy but everything was sold out. The prices were reasonable, I have seen complaints that the prices were too high. Based on the places I have been to, another thirft store in capital heights, their prices were about the same. They have a front end full of living room material and furniture and you can walk into the back which basically looks like a warehouse. There are kitchen material, office materials, hotel chairs, and bedroom storage. They also have restrooms located on the right side of the warehouse in the front. The employees were instructing me in the sales and many were helping other customers load their stuff in the truck. There was a sign on the door that said that customers did the loading themselves, but it was nice to know that even if that was a rule customer service was most important. The only minus was the space was small and seemed that their were limited things in display.

It's dirty and dingy. I love going to thrift stores in my spare time but every time I go into this store I feel like I'm in a store in a third world county. They could take lessons from Salvation Army or goodwill. Just because the store is in a Factory doesn't mean it has to feel like one. Anyway the prices are way to high for such shabby 2nd hand items. These pieces of furniture look like they belong in a dumpster or on a curb. I've shopped at habitat restore years back and still own furniture from the one in NJ but I don't think I can ever purchase anything at this one in Silver Spring. The prices need to equal the condition that the furniture is currently in.

I love this store, I happen to think you buy, buy and buy and end up thoroughgoing useful thing in the trash . This store is a perfect example of our spending habits. Looking around they have items that have never been open. In the front it looks like a furniture store, but it is so much more. Everything is arrange so neatly they give a lot of thought to presentation. Every thing is arrange categorically. For people just starting out on their own in life this would be the perfect place. Also the staff was so friendly and helpful. If you are into recycling and against waste this is the place to go. If you want to buy furniture or kitchen appliances give this store a try. if you want to donate something swing buy. Save the earth make a difference and recycle. Vonnie

Very good store . Lots of items for home renov. DIY project paradise with good selections. Cabinets/desk/kitchen cabinets/dressers can be re-sanded and painted to crafty desires. I find some items priced high for a non-profit donation organization yet I assume money they make goes to good cause.. Is still cheaper in thrift stores around Md ;)

Positives: During our 2 hour visit Debbie there were a couple of helpful suggestions she shared with us (lighting, window treatments). After the visit Debbie also did return some of our emails that had follow-up questions. Overall, however, there were 4 things that just didn't cut it for us. 1. Debbie PUSHED her slobproof brand of furniture on us strongly. We were not interested in the styles that she was showing us in her catalog, and mentioned to her a couple of other brands that may work in the space (i.e. crate and barrel, west elm)...but she was dead set on trying to sell her OWN stuff. 2. We spent a LONG time talking about and looking for RUGS on line. She said that this is the first thing you need to tie the room together. Well many months later, we have fabulous living room (thank you Lydia from Arhaus in VA!) with a very subtle simple cream rug. 3. Her communication style was more of a monologue than a dialogue. I know 2 hours isn't a long time, but we felt that our style, needs, and habits weren't really being taken into consideration. #4: Angel W.'s previous comment reminded me of this: Lastly, Debbie did offer to come back at the Groupon price that was coming out soon thereafter. However a few weeks later she reneged on this promise stating in an email that she was only planning on returning because she was under the impression that we would be selecting fabrics for "a Slobproof! Sectional, chairs and some of the other items we discussed." Tying the upcoming visit to to our buying slobpoof furniture was erroneous on its face. We did not have another visit, nor did we purchase any of her furniture. We hope these insights can help improve the customer experience for the next guy.

She mentioned that she was overwhelmed by the Groupon sales and could not take appointments at that time. She said she would call everyone back individually to set appointment times. I never received a call. I always schedule appointments right away and put the date on my calendar. My life is busy and that system works for me. Because the owner never callled me, I forgot about the service. Time passed and the Groupon expired. I have been known to let Groupons expire and am totally fine with it so long as I choose to let it expire. I did not choose to let this one expire. I paid $100 for the service so I was not simply going to let it go, especially since the staff never reached out to me as promised. At this later date, I placed a call to Designing Solutions to get this cleared up. I was promised a phone call that once again never came. The two star rating is solely for poor customer service and lack of follow through. I have worked with many design consultants in the past, all of whom I would give 5 stars. My sister has actually used Designing Solutions and mentioned that their design skills are mediocre so perhaps I lucked out. Groupon (who provides amazing customer service btw), refunded me the money, so this review has nothing to do with me being bitter about the money. I just think it's important for potential clients to realize that they may have to put some effort into getting the attention of the Designing Solutions staff.

Let me just say... these bags are the unsung heroes of my life. The FRAKTA bags? Absolute workhorses. I use them in my office to haul giant bulk mail cartons to the postal center like I'm some sort of efficiency ninja. They swallow boxes whole and still have room to spare. I've also loaded them up with bulky art supplies, event materials, and let's be honest, the occasional "how did I accumulate this much stuff?" pile. They never judge. They just carry. The GÖRSNYGG bags are my go-to for grandkid gifting missions. Trips filled with IKEA treasures and surprise presents are now way easier and way more cheerful. They're sturdy, practical, and somehow make me feel wildly put together. As much as I love wandering the store (because who doesn't?), the online shopping experience was easy peasy. Smooth checkout, quick delivery, and everything arrived perfectly. Zero drama. Maximum satisfaction. Who knew bags could spark this much joy?
