The kitchen section is my favorite, and there was no shortage of international specialty foods, glassware, baking pans and trays, and all sorts of other convenience items that I didn't even know I needed. I even managed to score some food storage containers in my favorite color, Tiffany Blue. There are multiple displays for both spring and independence Day so if you are looking to refresh your home for either of those holidays, they've got you covered. I took a quick brows through the other sections. The pet care section has so many items for free friends including climbing towers for cats. There was a small collection of paintings for the home. I saw a couple of nice lamps that I don't need so I had to turn my head quickly and look the other way as I walked past. Also love the paper goods. Lots of pretty cocktail and dinner napkins to choose from. If you're in the area it's definitely worth stopping by to take a peek.

Mostly because when I go to another location anywhere in the area, I'm disappointed. This location always seems to have items on hand that you are hoping for. Such was the case when I was looking for a new office chair. Being as particular as I am, I wanted what I had in my mind. Funnily enough, this location had just that, and lucky for me, it was on clearance. It is really well organized in here, made searching for items really easy. Somehow this store felt really spacious as well. I don't know why, but it just felt like I could have been in one area and not be bothered by anybody for a long time. Customer service was a bit lacking. Employees were almost non-existent, even at the registers. For the whole store to be running, I only saw two employees and they were at the register. Unless the staff are amazing at hide and seek, then props to them.

The reason why you can never find any items that correspond with the 50% off color of the day is because as soon as this place opens, there are employees assigned to hurry up and REMOVE items with that color. I was in the shoe aisle and all of a sudden saw a woman grabbing shoes and quickly tossing them into a bag. As I looked closer, these were all shoes with BLUE stickers (which happened to be the 50% off color of the day). No one else was in the aisle which is why she likely felt comfortable doing something so grimy. The fact that everything in this store was received for FREE and literally just put on a shelves and hangers--but you people have the NERVE to not only price gauge but intentionally HIDE items that would have qualified for the 50% off color is egregious. Your greed knows no bounds.

It's like going into your neighborhood hardware store and that's not a feeling you get everywhere in the DMV. No other Home Depot has this vibe that I've been to. They don't have as huge a selection like Bethesda or even near PG plaza but, they have great people who work there. I absolutely love the long time workers but I have to admit their new hires are pretty awesome too. What I love most is they are real people, meaning not robotic or like zombies. I think this store should get a pay raise and increased professional training to have more knowledge. Idk what they actually get paid but, when you have people that are happy at work, want to help, stay for years and years, I would hope they get paid enough to have a good life. One of my favorite workers is the paint guy!! Mr. R. He's been helping me for YEARS and years :-D. Great job to this location. The only thing that would make this better is longer hours open like the old days and lower prices like the old days. Idk if those days are coming back ever. I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had at this Home Depot…read more Around 3:00 PM, I needed to buy a pallet of concrete. I already had two carts completely loaded with 16-foot lumber and other materials. When I got to the large contractor gate, the employee told me it was already closed and that I had to take everything through the regular checkout lanes. There were about eight employees standing there, and not a single one was willing to help or offer a solution. I asked to speak with the manager, and the response I got was basically that they didn't care. They just kept telling me to take the two heavily loaded carts through the front registers, which was completely unrealistic. The customer service was terrible. Instead of helping a contractor with a large order, they acted like it wasn't their problem. From now on, I'd much rather shop at Lowe's than come back to this Home Depot. Management seriously needs to improve customer service and train employees to actually help customers instead of making excuses.

They had a great selection of women's clothing for this season, but I didn't want to get distracted from my initial mission.... The checkout line was long, as usual, but moved rather quickly with the service being ok and staff very pleasant. I would suggest going to this store once it opens and preferably during the week to cut down on the long checkout lines. All in all, a nice store to pick up toiletry items at great prices. I visited the Marshall's today looking for particular items…read more I was pleasantly surprised to find garments in my size and on clearance. I didn't notice one of the garments didn't have a price tag at all, and so when I went to the clerk to be rung up, she pointed it out. I told her that I got it from the same clearance rack, and that there were other garments on the rack of the same brand. She started speaking low and put it to the side; I was under the assumption that she would perhaps call an associate for assistance to find a similar item. No! She just put that item to the side! I told her, I still wanted it, and if it was possible to get something similar. The other garment set I was rung up for was the same price - clearance - and same THING - right down to the quantity in the set! It was just not the same brand. She then shrugged her shoulders and offered a sheepish smile, and I just took that as my indication that I was going to have to get this item myself. So I went - walk of shame - while there were associates in the area who were on walkie and could have easily been communicated with to find an item - to find it myself. I initially became frustrated when I returned to the queue and found it to have accumulated quite a line. I was relieved to see that the clerk waved me back to my spot - though I'm not sure if the customers in front of me were going to be serviced or were communicated with in any capacity... Asides from the lack of initiative from customer service - the merchandise selection is pretty broad and there is are generous clearance deals throughout the store. I was able to find what I was looking for and some things that crossed my mind.
