I love it. So many selections of toys and books. They also have kitchenware, carpet, and random stuff. Price is okay, customer service can be better for sure.

Ollie's Bargain Outlet in Jessup MD

Ollie's Bargain Outlet is like Walmart but a *discount* Walmart. Maybe even a bit flea market going on here. The store is organized by section but the merchandise seems random and unplanned. Prices are up and down and all around. Ollie's is best experienced without a shopping list. Just keep in mind the things that might be nice and maybe you'd like to see and then you may be surprised to find it here at Ollie's. Patio furniture. Car floor mats. Mattresses. Board games. Coffee table books. And coffee tables. It's just so.. everything. The aisles are random and not parallel. It's a confusing shopping experience. But hey, it's a bargain and it's an outlet. And you will certainly find things here that you're probably not going to find elsewhere.

Automotive aisle. You can get windshield wipers for under $5 each!

This is one of my favorite stores to visit. Ollie's has items at bargain prices usually the result of merchandise buyouts. Their inventory changes often, so don't expect to go there one week see something and don't get it because it may not be there when you come back. They sell a wide variety of items: home, automotive, pantry foods, pet, beauty, books and the like. The wonderful thing about Ollie's is that you never know what goodies you will find there each time you visit, so l often look forward to scouring the aisles looking for treasures at discount prices. The checkout lines can be a bit much at times, but overall given the bargains l have gotten, it is worth it. Make sure to sign up for Ollie's membership program. They send out coupons throughout the year good for 15% off your entire purchase!

There are many different items to purchase from Ollie's. There are different things on sale about 10 - 20 percent discount.

"I decked Flash...He wouldn't shut up and, without even thinking, I balled up my fist and...Principal Gorbert chewed us out. Said we were a bunch of selfish brats. Said tonight was for everyone, and we ruined it." Moments later, with tears running down her eyes, Liz makes a startling confession. "I care about you so much. You're my best friend, my sister. I try to think of what my life would be like without you in it, and it makes me sick inside." Liz pauses. "Your popularity and success, it's all great. It's what you deserve. I should be happy for you, right? And, I mean, in a way, I am, but...I needed desperately to be Homecoming Queen. Not because I am trying to feel superior to anyone, or because I have it coming to me. I needed it so...so maybe I could stop feeling like...I hate you." Eventually, the panels of the fourth issue of Sean McKeever and Takeshi Miyazawa's Mary Jane: Homecoming miniseries end in complete silence--with the two lifelong friends each riding one of the adjacent swings Liz seized for them in elementary school, but the words that Liz spoke before are what spark the imagination and trigger empathy, regret, anger, and love. Sentences in the best-written novels, mysteries, fantasies, speculative histories, and gothic horror do that too; and there is no better place to discover new sequences of words that will linger in your memory than Queen Takes Book, located at 6955 Oakland Mills Road in Columbia, Maryland. There, the friendly service will welcome you as if to the sparking embers of a fireplace in which only your imaginations are lit.

I parked a little ways down so I could be about halfway between my real destination and the crystal shop. I stepped inside and was shocked by how big it was! Like wow. Small rocks, medium rocks, big rocks, BIGGER rocks, books, incense, oils, necklaces, rings, spiritual statues... they truly had a lot. What made it even better was the late 90s / early 00s R&B they were playing. This time I wasn't quite on a mission, but it was still such a blast to explore everything that they had to offer. I think there was only one staff member around -- she was floating on the floor and when I approached the register (I did end up finding something) she immediately came over. She was very sweet. I am eager to return and have a more thorough look through everything. Great store for this kind of stuff, I highly recommend!

Quality bookstore!…read more This was the only store in the entire area that had the book I was looking for. I went to 6 other ones including Barnes and noble and this one was the one! Cashier was super helpful and nice even though my book didn't come up in the database. The entire collection in the store seemed super fancy and all hardcover and even the book I need was a lot fancier than the usual copies. It had a slide out hard cover and gold lettering. Didn't seem like the prices were high but they were having a 40% off all literature that day so I got a great deal! Definitely recommend.

Has the entire freakin' world gone Kindle on me since I left the charming city that reads? 25th St was one of those places that initially scared me when I moved to the city from what had been up to that point a sheltered life in West Virginia and Williamstown, Mass. This was urban East Coast livin' in the late 1990s, and it took me a few months to screw up the courage to head down Charles St in search of used books and other delights that midtown B'more could offer. I'm so glad that I did. I am a better, more enlightened person for having done so by visiting unique and wonderful places like the Kelmscott and Royal Books. So go ahead! Live a little! Put your iPhone and Crackberry away for a nanosec' and see what several hundred years of paper, ink, leather, linen, and movable type are capable of producing. Once you open an old book with real Italian marbled paper lining its inside cover - let alone one printed on vellum - you will realize the limits of e-reading and e-mailing. These things have their essential places in the 21st century, but so, too, do rare, used, and artisinal books made from tree pulp and cotton.

When I told her what book I was looking for she said "oh" while rolling her eyes a lead me to it. She handed it to me and started walking away while I was thanking her for her help. I could feel the attitude radiating off of her because of my book choice. I laughed it off and continued to browse a bit more. Eventually we got in line behind another customer. The same elderly woman opened another register to assist the customer in front of us. Naturally we started looking at the products that are in the check out area while we waited. The customer that was in front of us had an issue and left so it was our turn. The elderly woman proceeded to wave over the female customer behind us and she said that we were in front of her. We kindly insisted that she just go ahead and check out and we'll wait for the other employee further down. Then the elderly woman rudely said "come on, put your stuff here" and then decided to tell the customer behind us that the line starts where she's standing and that there should be blinking red lights signally that the line starts there. At that point it was VERY clear that she had an issue with us because of the book we were purchasing and tried to insinuate that we were stupid. Fine, you have a personal opinion but you are at work and are supposed to be providing good customer service regardless of your personal opinions. At no point were we rude or passive aggressive so her attitude was very uncalled for. Feeling done with the situation, I handed her my book and she hurried through our interaction. We kept our cool and were respectful, she asked if we wanted a bag and we declined and then she gave us our receipt and I told her to have a blessed day and once again talked over me. I will not be visiting this location ever again. Thanks Jodi for your terrible customer service.
