I came in to return four items with a valid receipt, but instead of helping, she immediately looked for reasons to deny my return. She repeatedly stated: "The description is not for these items," and when I asked her to clarify, she refused, saying: "I'm not going to tell you that" and "I don't have to." This is completely unlike any other HomeGoods experience I've had, where employees clearly explain receipt discrepancies and process returns efficiently. When processing the remaining two items, Veda again checked the system and incorrectly claimed one item was not on my receipt. When I corrected her, she responded only with a dismissive "Oh." As of September 3, 2025, I have received zero follow-up. It is alarming that this is not an isolated incident; multiple reviews confirm Veda has treated other customers similarly. Laurel HomeGoods management should understand that experiences like this drive away loyal customers. I deserve a formal apology, but I will never return to this location and will actively discourage clients from shopping there. I'm familiar with the shop, since a family member worked there years ago, but I had no clue they did this type of work. I gave them a call and was told to bring in a picture to evaluate the chair because they didn't want me to be without my chair for a long time. Well, I thought bringing in the chair itself would be easier, since I wasn't in a hurry for it. I was greeted by a very knowledgeable staff member who gushed about how beautiful the chair was. She did an evaluation of what would be needed to repair and reupholster it and then showed me the fabrics that were available in the color I selected. They have a large variety of fabrics on-sight in the store, but they do have options that can be ordered. The one I selected was on-sight. We agreed upon the estimated price, I filled out some paperwork and I was out the door. It was literally that quick and simple. Since they have a pretty extensive client list waiting for their projects before me, my estimated date for the chair to be completed was about 2 months or so. To my surprise, I was called about a month later informing me that my chair was ready. I arrived and was extremely pleased with my brand new chair. The workmanship was beautifully done and the cushion they replaced was perfectly placed. They did such a phenomenal job, my parents wanted their chair back. Lol! Not on my watch! Yes, Mill End is a bit pricey, but so worth it! They're truly professionals. I'm planning to get my dinning room chairs reupholstered in the near future, so I made sure to get an estimate while I was there. I'll absolutely be back in the near future.

I was in the shoe aisle and all of a sudden saw a woman grabbing shoes and quickly tossing them into a bag. As I looked closer, these were all shoes with BLUE stickers (which happened to be the 50% off color of the day). No one else was in the aisle which is why she likely felt comfortable doing something so grimy. The fact that everything in this store was received for FREE and literally just put on a shelves and hangers--but you people have the NERVE to not only price gauge but intentionally HIDE items that would have qualified for the 50% off color is egregious. Your greed knows no bounds.
