She didn't even bag my items, just gave me my change and receipt and then turned around to talk to someone who had just walked into the store, even tho there was a lady with a cart of items behind me. I stood there for about 2 seconds to wait for her to bag my items and never did. I ended up putting them in a bag myself. Rude and disrespectful. There store itself is fine, clean and have items that people would need.

It was in…read morestock about 4 weeks after ordering, just like the sales associate promised.The store called right away and made sure to hold the couch until we could pick up. About 2 months later my daughter noticed a spring poking out of the back of couch which ripped the seat zipper. I had bought the 3 yr warranty,however the warranty company was useless! They kept saying they could not find my info. I stopped by the store and BOB (furniture dept) said " I will hold the next one on the delivery truck in about a week." I felt uncertain but about 1 week later Big Lots called and said they had my replacement part. BOB helped me make sure I had the right piece,he helped me figure out how to disconnect the the couch and helped all around.BIG LOTS AND BOB were great!! They are still well organized and stocked with many different styles. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Also eater to assist and answer questions. They also monitor the fitting rooms very well so you don't need to seek them out to unlock a door. There is a nice clearance area in the rear but these aren't necessarily super discounted but sometimes just returns or online purchases.

I used to enjoy this store but feel it's become a clique group. The clothes taken in aren't in the high standards that they used to be. I saw a toy on consignment that hadn't been priced yet. They quoted a price of 27, the same item brand new is $32 on Amazon. Employees in the drop off go through what comes in and set aside things for themselves and talk openly about it. However, there is always a good deal to be had at the Yankee candle shop or Bath & Body Works. We noticed on our trip today that the Pepperidge farm shop was no longer there. That was quite a disappointment because it was one of the reasons we wanted to go. True, I should have checked the website to see if it was still there but I didn't think I would have any reason to assume it was not. Regardless, if you are heading to the Eastern shore it's definitely worth making a stop; if for no other reason than to get some exercise in and enjoy a nice day.

The store has a dark, cozy and expensive boutique feel to it although many of the items seem reasonably priced. I love the quirkiness of the faux-taxidermied stuffed bear heads, ohh, only if I was cool enough to hang one of those whimsical, grizzlies in my house. We looked at some of the games and knick-knacks and I thought seeing the old, albeit not that old, bank vault was cool. The old night deposit is still there too.
