There are more items outside on a porch, but again it's kind of hard to move around to get out there and see everything. The young lady working in the shop was too busy talking on her cell phone to acknowledge me until I came to the register with a picture I wanted to buy. At this point, she says "You do know we only take cash or checks, right?" Really? This is 2012, what legitimate business doesn't accept credit cards? I mean seriously.....you can get a Square-Up card reader for FREE and run them right from your phone! I can't tell you the last time I wrote a check, don't even think I have any, and I never carry cash (as many people don't), so this store just lost not only this sale but any future sales they may have made with me.

He did and only charged me a small portion over what he paid and even kept it for me for a month before I moved. I went to the store to settle up and found another beautiful piece of furniture that was reasonable priced. He delivered it all to my house which was an hour away. I gladly paid him a little extra to deliver that far away, but he was very nice. He does like to joke around a bit, so maybe that other customer just took him the wrong way. We ordered a cherry kitchen table with a leaf and six chairs from this company. It takes about 8-12…read moreweeks to get, but the quality is very good. Not low end pricing, but you get what you pay for. These are pieces that can last a lifetime. We had previously had an Ethan Allen cherry set and the table top was scarred and had white marks from heat. The Lanco table has a MUCH tougher finish; what you'd expect for kitchen use. The chairs are sturdy. My only complaint is that the manufacturer could take more care in selecting the wood boards comprising the top. I was dissatisfied with the original table top (because of an unfortunate placement of a knot. I've been a designer for over 30 years, so I'm picky). Customer service from Merv was very good; the manufacturer rebuilt the table and replaced the original one. We would definitely recommend this company.
