This is a really nice HomeGoods! It's packed to the brim with all kinds of things but somehow it's not junky or cluttered. The kitchen section is my favorite, and there was no shortage of international specialty foods, glassware, baking pans and trays, and all sorts of other convenience items that I didn't even know I needed. I even managed to score some food storage containers in my favorite color, Tiffany Blue. There are multiple displays for both spring and independence Day so if you are looking to refresh your home for either of those holidays, they've got you covered. I took a quick brows through the other sections. The pet care section has so many items for free friends including climbing towers for cats. There was a small collection of paintings for the home. I saw a couple of nice lamps that I don't need so I had to turn my head quickly and look the other way as I walked past. Also love the paper goods. Lots of pretty cocktail and dinner napkins to choose from. If you're in the area it's definitely worth stopping by to take a peek. read more

One of my favorite pastimes is browsing the aisles of Home Goods, and I particularly frequent this location. I mean, what's not to love! They have a great selection and most things are organized and easy to find, including furniture, seasonal decor, mugs, wall art, and SNACKS, among other things. I use to work here during my time before taking my summer internship. Staff was nice and I enjoyed working with everyone I interacted with except for one of the managers. This manager in particular I won't be exposing their name. In January 2023, my mother was in a health-related car accident about 40 minutes from my location and an hour before going into work. BEFORE I even think about going to locate my mom, I contacted the store and spoke to said manager about my situation; that there's a possibility I will not make it into work as I was unaware on the condition of my mom. Instead of saying "oh no! We are so sorry to hear that! Please keep us updated" the manager goes "Okay, so you need to let us know right now because we're closing tonight and you're one of the closers." Worried about my job before my mom's safety? If this wasn't my only source of income at the time, I would've quit right then and there. But I still made it into work even though I wanted to fully be there to ensure my mother was okay. With this manager, it was not my first time having a similar interaction. One time, the manager called me "annoying" because I was a cashier having to do stocking and cleaning. Obviously since this store is not more of an aisle-type store, I asked the manager MULTIPLE TIMES where certain products go. Where she got frustrated and called me "annoying" because I was apparently interrupting her. She even once told me coming in 5 minutes before my shift was "cutting it close." That 10 minutes before is more ideal. LOL. Even once denying a customer to give another worker a $20 tip after he went above and beyond to helping load items into the customers vehicle. Recommended she fills out a survey instead... Even on times where I have been wrong with callouts and such, I'd put the effort into improving and following their system. It seemed like following their system still made the manager and the store manager frustrated with my future callouts. I can't control that as I am a student who partakes in multiple enrichments and lead positions for computer science sorry... I am unaware if said manager still works there or not, but there's my experience with one of them. Really throughout my time working with her, it was a neutral experience. Regardless of manager, I enjoyed working with my co-workers. And I still keep in touch with a few of time. It was one of the jobs I actually say I enjoyed working at throughout my time there. read more

This particular HomeGoods is pretty good! I was surprised that they had a good variety of items, especially with large decorative vases! They also carried a good selection of furniture, as I saw many tufted benches, colorful armchairs, and coffee tables. My friend was able to find a plant-based protein powder, in which she seemed pretty ecstatic about. I founded a super soft and comfortable bed for my pup (because she can't have too many beds)! It was a pretty good time perusing through all of the items, and the staff were friendly with the check-out process being quick. Introduction: Coming from West Coast Home Goods is everywhere. I was so excited to see one in East Coast. It's one of my favorite place to shop at, I just wish there's one closer to where I live. I frequent this Homegoods often. I love shopping here to find unique gifts for friends and family. If another store is out of a particular item I'm looking for, I can almost always find it here. Don't forget to hit up the clearance sections! The only suggestion I would make is to have more cashiers throughout the day. There are times when I'll walk by the registers and there's no one in line, turn a corner, come back near the registers and there's 15 people in line suddenly. Checkouts can be very slow. I've been in lines with 3 people in front of me, 10 people behind me, and there's only two cashiers open. Sometimes you wait longer in line to purchase your item than you do shopping for it in the store. The employees and staff are polite and pleasant to talk with at this location. I'm always feel like my business is appreciated when I'm at the registers and I'm always asked to come back. read more

I could literally spend an entire weekend in this place and not get tired of exploring the awesome items for my home. Just like the name says, it sells goods for your home at reduced prices. I like it better than Marshalls, T.J. Maxx and Ross combined. Probably because I don't have to be bothered with looking at the racks on top of racks of clothing that is jammed in one section of the store. This place is strictly for the home! Cutting boards, picture frames, lamps, bathroom sets, rugs, any and everything you could ever want or need for your home can be found in this place. I like to come during the week on my day off to really take the time to walk around and explore the new shipments. I was told they get shipments daily (except weekends) and the stock changes daily. So if you see it, you better get it or I guarantee that when you come back to get it, it won't be there. Take my advice, I speak from experience. The aisles are a bit narrow and this store can become rather crowded on the weekends, but it's always well organized and neat. The staff on the floor is never helpful, but the staff at the registers are friendly and nice. I've purchase many an item for my house from this place and I've also purchased many gifts for others too. I actually have to restrain myself from going here because even if I don't have an item that I need or looking for, I will leave out of here with at least 2! LOVE THIS PLACE! read more

This is a nice big store & displays are well presented. It's hit or miss here. Sometimes I come here and find great stuff. Other times not so much, but you can find good sales here too. We used to love home goods. Where you can find exotic/designer stuff at a bargain. Well not anymore. The store is over crowded with stuff. Very disorganized. Stuff stacking on top of each other. Isle are so narrow you can't even push your shopping cart thru. Gotta be careful what you buy here, stuff are either defective, damage, or broken at high stickers price. We never understood why they would sell open box damage furniture at high dollar. Marshall's and TJ Max ( their sisters stores) on the other hand are way more organized and easy to find products. read more

I don't really have that many favorite stores. So if I had to pick one right now... Home Goods might be one of my new favorite stores. Management is nice. (When they are not too busy with dealing with the so many customers that sometime flow the store). Many of my cooking pans have been bought from home goods. All are quality made pans. My advice... If you see something you like but aren't sure... Buy it, you can't tell for sure if it will be there the next time you will visit the store. Trust me, I have learned the hard way. Bottom Line: A mix of high-quality and ok-quality home decor at fair prices. Many people like to compare HomeGoods to TJ Maxx, Marshalls or even Ross. To me, there is no comparison. Although HomeGoods, TJ Maxx and Marshalls are all owned by the same parent company, I find TJ Maxx and Marshalls to be a mess of cheap clothing with just a few aisles for the home. Ross, well, that is one step above a garage sale to me. Anyway, this review is about HomeGoods in the Waugh Chapel shopping center so here it goes! Based on my trips to this HomeGood locations, here is my take-away: - You might not find a treasure on every visit, so shop her frequently for awesome deals on brand name items - There is lots of inventory so the shelves are packed, but so are the aisles. For easy maneuverability, put off getting a cart until you know you need one. - Everything is fairly priced, but some brands have superior quality for about the same price as the ok-quality item. Every now and again, you find something here that is expensive by HomeGoods standards but its usually very high quality too, and kinda out of place at a discount store. - Parking lot can be a bit crazy as this shopping center is large and popular. Let me first say that my star rating is for the store employees. I've been here quite frequently and every time I attempt to ask someone a question they look at me as if they are thinking what the heck do I want and why am I bothering them. And they generally respond as if it's silly for me to ask where I can find anything because things are haphazardly situated in the store. There is one guy (he has short dreadlocks) who is always super helpful and sweet, but unfortunately the rest of the fruit falls far from the tree. In terms of their selection, it's pretty good. A lot of soft metal and ceramic, hand-crafted tchotchkes that appear to be knock-offs of better decorator brands, to include furniture, if that can be described as a tchotchke. The store really focuses on low quality items at low prices. I wandered in here on a lunch break. I found myself wondering why I was there about 10 feet in. It was just filled with cheap-looking home decor at about the same prices as any other place of its kind, like Michaels or Kohls (except those are a lot better). I feel like this would be a good place to shop for Christmas presenfs for people you really didn't like that much. Then again, I probably didn't belong in there anyway. I have furnished many a homes with their goods, and the merchandise has always been top quality Some items include: beautiful pottery/dinner ware from Portugal and Italy, hand blown glass ware and vases from Eastern Europe, top quality linens and towels, mirrors, lamps, candles, furniture, bath items, French and English soaps and toiletries, USA/Canada framed art work and canvas pieces, stationary, All Clad cookware, gourmet food items, etc. And of course, all at great prices. You can wait for a sale at Macy's or Kohl's or some other department store, but you will never get the quality and price that is available at HomeGoods. The great thing too, is just like sister stores Marshall's and TJ Maxx, the merchandise gets updated weekly. If you like something though, you better pounce on it as it will probably be gone if you decided to "sleep on it". I don't mind making the drive to Gambrills but it sure would be nice if they opened one in Annapolis or Edgewater. read more

Home Goods!!!! Great parking lot. Right next to Marshall's. Short drive away to White House Black Market, LOFT, and some other shops. Got a Cuisinart MultiClad Pro frying skillet, 10 inch, for $30. Which is much, much cheaper than the Amazon price of $49.95. They've also got a good selection of All-Clad, including d5, if you're more interested in All-Clad. Great selection of pet items as well. Saw a bunch of great cat towers, a pet stroller, and pet stairs. Also great selection of furniture, rugs, and accent pieces. The key is knowing the brands, how much they're usually priced, and then finding them at below department store clearance prices here. read more

I would like to start with I love home goods...however today I was disappointed and hope the management gets their staff to understand. I'm not mad due to fact I know the kids around here. My son was in the store today and looking at helmets and one was in the wrong place.. he grabbed it to go show my mother who was with us and saw where they went ... so went to put it back and there was no name tag however the store employee said very rudely to my son what are you going to do with it. He was confused so shrugged his shoulders and she said rudely again well put it back.. funny we would have bought it because he liked it and wanted it but never got to see it because of the employee.. again I do understand there are nasty lil somethings in this area however when an 11 year old who actually found it in the wrong place and wanted it to be told very rudely and trust me took everything to not make a sceptical and mama bear come out. I told him I would wait. Bottom line customer service if there is a child I say child but teen that is very polite and not a threat the employees should not be rude in anyway to them. And just fyi my children dress proper and I just think maybe that person had a bad day however i work customer service and guess what you pull your big girl panties up and please the customer not by any means be rude. Hence we left a cart full for the loveliness to put away and will not go back to this store. Unless they write and say they understand and have told their employees about proper manners when working customer service. read more

Base On your return policy , i came to Homegoods store in Gambrills Maryland 21054 to return the frames but instate she scan the items infront of customer , she bring them to scaned anothe place far away from us. This is a really good store, It's hit or miss though. Sometimes you can find a diamond in the rough. If you know what your looking for, that's half the battle at this store. Lot's of selection, and a good amount on clearance (which is like $5 or $10 off original price). They seem to get new inventory in a lot, I try to go every few weeks, just to see if there is something I can't live with out. read more

I visited the Home Goods store in Crofton MD the store manager was so rude; He snatched a sales tag out of my hand and started yelling at me about it. At first I was shocked, then angry....THIS MADE ME tchanged my mind about my purchase and left the store. I then contacted the District Regional Manager to register a complaint about the treatment I received. I have not been able to get anyone to listen to my complaint.....I will not spend my money where I am mistreated period!! read more
