New 2 Us is a family-owned and -operated set of shops that has been around since '12. Owned by Adam Evans, there's a consignment shop, a retro game/antique section, home decor, and a bait & tackle area. New 2 Us also hosts a lot of community events, such as Retro Game Day, Kids Fishing Tournaments, Batman Day, and Free Comic Book Day. We stopped by to peruse for some furniture and also for some knick-knacks for decoration. Just note that the place is a bit dusty and is not wiped down. There were some books, mugs, landline phones, salt & pepper shakers, old game consoles, and various miscellaneous items. We found a vintage book, but it was a bit too pricey; comparing to other antique shops and online, the prices at New 2 Us range from being comparable to being extremely marked-up. Most items did not have a price, so you do have to constantly inquire with the one employee there; I'd love to see a general posted price and/or deals that the store has! They also offer new items, such as the wrapped tin signs and Funko Pop! of various TV shoes/movies. +hosts and sponsors community events +small shared lot for parking +super dusty! +prices range from comparable to being extremely marked-up

Fun place! We stopped by while enjoying long weekend, just wanted to browse old things. I am an antique lover and my hubby loves to play games. We both loved how many things this tiny looking thrift store holds, well surprisingly this store was not that small at all as it looks from outside. There're plenty of old games, furniture, kitchen appliances, as well as some super old vintage stuff we enjoyed like we were at the museum. If you're around, this is good place to spend good 30 minutes or so. *I wouldn't recommend this store for little kids as this shop has tons of fragile things.

I love this consignment shop! Adam is fantastic at finding specialty items for my catering business and even built a few customized boxes for table design I was creating. Their prices are extremely fair as well!

I don't shop there much but a friend of mine was thrilled with her visit and found some things she loved. She is a big consignment shopper.

I ended up buying some really cool joy cons and a monster Hunter rise pro controller for my switch! Just got home and tried everything out and they all work flawlessly! The staff are super friendly and their prices cannot be beaten! Way better than GameStop!! I definitely recommend giving this place your patronage if you're looking for old or new video game stuff. The staff are beyond friendly and the store is so cool. I'll definitely be back.

Superbit is a retro gamestore and may accept some popular game consoles and rare games. I was greeted and was helped right away. The store employee knew exactly why I was there. He noticed the bright green color of my Pokemon leaf green and stopped everything to assess the value of my total trade in. If I had known how much Pokemon would have blown up in the past, I would have kept all of my cards and games and sold them here. Fun fact: The game box/packaging is worth more than the game itself. If you have a mint condition box that the game came in, it could be worth a lot. I thought I ended up with a good bargain because of the quick trade in and knowledge base of the employee. I am glad I got rid of my childhood games for some cash. I learned that retro stores like this is considered like an antique store.

GameStop is great, but it's so... mainstream, you know? Thanks to social media, I learned about this spot that just opened up in Wheaton Mall about two weeks ago. When I walked in it was pretty early -- the lights weren't even on, and the only staff at the time was organizing some wall hangers. But the decor is immediately inviting -- even from outside, you see some retro systems and retro title screens on monitors on display. It's glorious. The merch hits you as soon as you walk in. There are shelves of mostly old games --- there is some new stuff too, of course -- but, all the mobiles, all the Playstations, all the old Nintendos... it's all there. Now, the GameCube selection is a little lacking at the moment, but they're working on that. And it goes without saying that all the accessories you could ever need were present too. Games aside, the walls are LINED with posters, low and high. There are normal posters, holographic ones (which really are the rage lately and I love them), posters with wooden backs, and they're of all sizes. There's a whole ton of car or computer decal -- I believe there were $4 each, but they're gonna start doing deals for multiple ones. There were a ton of keychains, holographic decal, and lanyards as well. In the display case were some trading cards... Magic, Yugioh, and Pokemon caught my attention. All this to say... this store is awesome! And I'm excited to see how their inventory grows as they get settled. I'll be returning for sure!
